Not saying I agree with going out and framing every Zelda game, but it's not like anyone is paying $300 for a copy of TLOU after it went out of print.
Look, I can get really enjoying these games and maybe even paying a good chunk of your salary for them, but framing them on your living room wall is frankly fricking weird. Only with nintendo do I see shit like this happen. Everyone else just puts them on shelves.
The resale value for Nintendo games is fricking ridiculous.
Copies of Mario Kart games that sold tens of millions of units going for more than games on the same console that sold less than 25k copies total still sealed.
Nintendo games retain their value, unlike games from other companies. TOTK is still full price, whereas FFXVI, and maybe even Spider-Man 2 are already half off, even though both came out after TOTK.

If you’re framing paper, then the frame will have two pieces of glass that you sandwich the paper between then clasp down the edges of the frame to held everything in place.

A mixture of a fear of this on top of growing up poor and having my stuff stolen more than once makes it where I've learnt it's not wise to just display things or else people will gladly try to take it from you. I also lost a lot of my collection in the past back in 2008 during a hurricane while I was being a wage slave, so that changed my perspective some as well. Nothing like coming home in flood water above your waist in a previously "non-flood zone" just to see a myriad of old collectables ruined by sewage and flood water after sitting in it for at least a few hours, and it was even worse with the mold and smells when trying to dry them out.
