>Russian game? I play with Russian voices. >Polish game? I play with Polish voices. >English game? I play with English voices. >Japanese game? I play with Japanese voices.
And there's not a damn thing you can do to stop me. I've been a dubgay my whole life and I'm not about to start unless it's sub only, then I just deal with it because I don't turn my nose up at subs. You know, options are a good thing to have, just sayin'.
I think what bugs me most is when the game is sub-only, but the subtitles are clearly done in a localised style that doesn't match the original Japanese all that well. Tokyo Xanadu and Tales of Hearts R are two examples I can think of right now, where what characters were saying was clearly quite different from the English text. I can understand doing that with a full voice localisation, spoken English just flows differently and all, but when you don't have a voice-track it just feels off.
I always do this
Dragon Quest is better localized.
fricking moron
Using dubs is racist, ethnocentric and low IQ. Prove me wrong.
Pro-tip: You can't
brb gonna replay jrpgs with an english dub
Yeah dark souls for instance.
>he purposely puts the language track of a language he does not understand on

>Polish game? I play with Polish voices.
>English game? I play with English voices.
>Japanese game? I play with Japanese voices.

I feel ya, anon. I have Tales of Hearts R and the script changes bother me. Especially since they changed the lead's name. So tired of that shit.
Chuck was unironically right about everything
Yes, grew past being a fricking anime dweeb.
English voice actors are all soulless hacks even when they work firsthand with the developers that are the same race as them.
SLIPPIN' JIMMY WITH A LAW DEGREE IS LIKE A CHIMP WITH A MACHINE GUN!!
Americans unironically refuse to learn any other language let alone "their" language
Japanese is a dirty sounding language, no thanks
>Game is "dubbed"
>Only intro to the game and perhaps important cutscenes are voiced
>Meanwhile jap is full voice
This happened in mary skelter.
Of course, I don't know japanese so why would I pretend I can tell how good it is
