I'm glad I didn't invest in a PC because I wouldn't even use it so the xbox is actually a reasonable investment if you're jaded like me. Good media box as well.
I got one for msrp, kept it for a year, then sold it to build my first gaming PC. Dont get me wrong I loved it but I just realized a PC was better and I can still use Game Pass not to mention pirate. It also edits videos WAY better than my laptop which is what I was using before. But the series X is great.

I ended up getting one for the BC and more consistent features because every other platform is schizophrenic about offering proper HDR and audio options. On PS5, Sony was too lazy to pay the license for Dolby Vision or Atmos so you're stick with their inferior 3D audio BS and HDR10, PC "can" have Dolby Vision support but almost nothing supports it or will support it since devs probably would need to pay Dolby on a per-game basis and some games like Master Chief Collection just omit HDR altogether unlike the Xbox version. I love Mark Cerny but he fell a little short with the PS5 featureset this time.
