This is a semi-tard take. A lot of vidya OSTs are really fricking good, that's not the issue. The issue is when you ONLY listen to soundtracks and not bands. Being incapable of enjoying music without a virtual world to act as a reference point is peak autism.
its the the only orchestral music that isnt totally sterile like most movie soundtracks or total post modern self masturbatory garbage like the rest of the orchestral scene that comes out today
I never cared for the soundtrack of this game, personally. Something about it feels cheesy and outdated. Incredible story telling, though, it makes shit like Dark Souls lore/writing feel so shallow in comparison
Never felt that way about it, personally I've always loved it, it fits with the game perfectly
The smoldering corpse bar is my favorite location, not just of this game, of all the games I've ever played, and it's due in no small part to this track
VGM is cringe but the soundtracks for the Mega Man games go HARD
>Shitsona
>let alone Shitsona 3
holy frick what a homosexual
Better than the shit that's put out these days.
Starting at :50 ...

The best I've heard was DOOM OST, don't really care for video game music in general
Doom OST is soulless generic metalcore dogshit, but hey alright
Still more interesting than whatever dogshit you play.
wrong
It's more djent than metalcore. It's really effective in the context of the game, but I would never listen to it on its own.
You're probably right, all that incessant open chug amateur shit sounds the same after a while
I just listen to the Portal 2 soundtrack occasionally, but that's about it
Damn, I guess my music tastes aren’t up to par for a frogposter virgin. Whatever will I do now.
Nobuo Uematsu makes pure kino. cope, seethe, dilate, etc
Video game music is unironically better than the fricking bullshit they put on radio nowadays
You fricking bet

Man I love it
And then there's stuff like
And especially
God I need to replay this
yes
mein neger
Castlevania games have the best soundtracks
>he was looking kind of dumb
>with his finger and his thumb
>in the shape of an L on his forehead
>well anon starts coping and he can't stop seething
