If your Eagles are already doing their thing, making them do it harder is overkill. Meanwhile, +1 Arc hit is literally more constant damage, Supply makes some weapons far more viable, and HE Barrage was already decent and now is concentrated fricking hell on your enemies, since every blast is pushed 15% closer to center.

People are stupid and don't experiment, so it's no suprise to me. The number of crybabies that seethed about Slugger nerf and not being able to stagger enemies is funny when the Punisher is right fricking there, is an absolute rape train of a Shotgun, and seemingly nobody uses it.
Which is why this upgrade is useless. It's like having an upgrade to launchers that says "Do 10% more damage with launchers," when they already 1 shot most heavy units and 10% buff wouldn't make a difference against shit like Bile Titans.
If they wanted to wow me with an Orbital/Eagle upgrade, increase bullet strategem call-in damage by 10% and allow it to strip armor after so many hits.
Tossing the strategem orb on the tank solves this issue already.

There's a reason we don't do this anymore and haven't since using cannons and muskets. Why would we do that? Steroids to ground crew makes sense because it makes them BETTER at their job. The limb health bonus is actually godly because it's an even better version of the health booster, but only for the person using the armor. If you're dropping with less people, you can take servo-assisted armor so you can use a different booster like stamina or hellpod space optimization. Alternatively, all 4 players could use servo-assisted armor and just ignore the health booster, essentially allowing you an extra booster. The holy trinity of boosters is usually health + stamina + space optimization, then you can take something extra like muscle enhancement or the radar booster, maybe the localization confusion one (don't bother with the reinforcement boosters, they're not worth it). If everyone takes servo-assist, you no longer need the health part, so you can take stamina, space, and then two extras.
I'd only use the health booster if you have 3 people and all really need a different armor effect for some reason.

In most missions i evac with 30/40 commons, similar rare and 3 to 10 super. And usually something between 3000 and 5000 req points. Majority of hell divers are sitting on their commons samples and req points relatively quick, you level up very fast in this game.

Go down in difficulty. No, seriously. Those missions are so ass that trying to do it in Helldive is near impossible. Not because of the difficulty of enemies, but because of the moronic AI pathing of those civilians. They will get stuck on everything and won't go around obstacles, so the more bot ships and bot remains scattered along their path the more unbearable it becomes. It's the fricking worst mission in the game.
We're getting straight damage upgrades while the difficulty of the game remains static and everybody is more than capable of doing 9s without much trouble.
You know changing the zeroing doesnt actually make the rifle zoom more? The ADS for the marksman rifle has less magnification than other rifles, and its a marksman rifle. im not talking about the number
The eruptor feels relatively strong. It can't pierce the high-end of medium armor (hulk eyeslot etc) but is able to one-shot devastators if you place your shot well. Backpack shots on machinegunners seem to always one hit kill, which is pretty valuable to have on a primary.
Yeah I was shocked by how much it smashes devastators. One shot, two shot at worst, and I think three shot berserkers. Is it Op GOAT? Didn't feel that, it's got issues, but if you never use your primary much (machine gun stratagem) then it'd be quite useful. Like yeah my MMG can rip up a devastator but it's also wasting ammo doing so. I'm going to keep trying the battle rifle because I like how it is visually, but I was underwhelmed trying it. Granted it was against berserkers and even fricking pre-nerf autoshottie often mag-dumped to take one out.

it is plagued by constant gamebreaking bugs AH takes weeks to fix, its really low in content, the difficulty scaling just adds modifiers that make the game less fun, an theres basically no progression after like 30 hours since youve unlocked everything

not to mention the games main selling point, the world map, is obviously rigged with the way events on the map coincide with updates and content drops - i mean seriously, does no one remember for honor and their faction map?
Well for one, making things explode is just smooth brain fun in general. But I think the real answer is that Arrowhead has found a way to do Live Service in an engaging way.
Most people I know love the fact that the map is constantly changing in real time and that somebody behind the scenes is actually controlling the enemies. It makes it so there's something new and exciting going on almost every time you log on. In some ways it's like playing a D&D game. Plus the little hints they drop in the game orders or on social media is a good way to build hype. The mech suits, blue lasers and now this whole, "Joel," incident are great examples. Mix that with a season pass shit that you can actually earn by playing the game and doesn't require actual money and you got a formula for success despite the numerous flaws. Turns out, when a game runs well and the developers actually engage with and listen to the community that people are more willing to overlook the bad things.

Eruptor fills a different role. It's much too slow to be used as a main primary and cannot pierce most of the important armor breakpoints for bots.
It's godlike against bugs because it destroys high difficulty bile spewers, the big summoner boys, and hive guards along with having a large aoe.

It can one-shot them, but it's a bit odd because of the AOE effect. I've seen it oneshotting (and not oneshotting) the back end, and oneshotting from the abdomen which seems more consistent. Headshotting doesn't usually kill them due to the armor I think

The normal rifle is nice because can 2 hit kill devastators in the head like amr. Gonna grind for pistol and xbow. Also nade can blow up fabricator but has same difficulty as impact nade.
Disregard comment about normal new rifle since devastators on higher diff either have more hp or something is fricky with multiplayer since i tested it in private lobby and it 2 hs killed while with people on higher diff did not.

but the thing aims SO MOTHERFRICKING SLOW. it's slower to turn than even missile launchers. and you have to deal with its horrible inertia whenever you want to hit anything at all. it's so fricking awful to actually try to line up shots on devastators that are peppering you with assrape because you WILL get hit trying to line something up and the aimpunch is so severe that it basically resets your entire reticle
I'll probably try it against bugs because I only use my primary for armor piercing at medium range but it's just pain against bots imo

Love me Eruptor, I am stuck on what support weapon to bring though, bringing AMR / AC / Railgun / GL / ArcT / LC feels kinda redundant in some way in each case, so that leaves the array of underwhelming MGs, der flammenwerfer, and the AT suite. I guess AT is the default choice, or Stalwart if you forget that you have Redeemer.
Guess I'll just roll Supply Pack + QC or EAT and see how it goes.

If your Eagles are already doing their thing, making them do it harder is overkill. Meanwhile, +1 Arc hit is literally more constant damage, Supply makes some weapons far more viable, and HE Barrage was already decent and now is concentrated fricking hell on your enemies, since every blast is pushed 15% closer to center.

I use the arc all the time so people with heavier weapons can take out hulks and devastators because they stun lock everything

I know the eagle upgrade doesn't do much, but eagle airstrike is S-tier and I like cluster bombs against bugs.
Which is why this upgrade is useless. It's like having an upgrade to launchers that says "Do 10% more damage with launchers," when they already 1 shot most heavy units and 10% buff wouldn't make a difference against shit like Bile Titans.
If they wanted to wow me with an Orbital/Eagle upgrade, increase bullet strategem call-in damage by 10% and allow it to strip armor after so many hits.
i haven't used it yet, but i imagine 1 extra bomb on airstrike helps it's consistency against tanks
Tossing the strategem orb on the tank solves this issue already.
Clusterbombs are already team killing nightmares, and are a one and done use item, where bug breech waves are the real issue. Taking out a single wave while accidentally pissing off even more nearby patrols more consistently ain't the win you think it is.

The limb health bonus is actually godly because it's an even better version of the health booster, but only for the person using the armor. If you're dropping with less people, you can take servo-assisted armor so you can use a different booster like stamina or hellpod space optimization. Alternatively, all 4 players could use servo-assisted armor and just ignore the health booster, essentially allowing you an extra booster. The holy trinity of boosters is usually health + stamina + space optimization, then you can take something extra like muscle enhancement or the radar booster, maybe the localization confusion one (don't bother with the reinforcement boosters, they're not worth it). If everyone takes servo-assist, you no longer need the health part, so you can take stamina, space, and then two extras.
I'd only use the health booster if you have 3 people and all really need a different armor effect for some reason.
ive seen some information that the health booster actually gives you some hp, does the limb health bonus also give you hp?
if not, then it isn't that great for my playstyle where i shove a stim in me as soon as i take damage to help prevent death

In most missions i evac with 30/40 commons, similar rare and 3 to 10 super. And usually something between 3000 and 5000 req points. Majority of hell divers are sitting on their commons samples and req points relatively quick, you level up very fast in this game.

Not because of the difficulty of enemies, but because of the moronic AI pathing of those civilians. They will get stuck on everything and won't go around obstacles, so the more bot ships and bot remains scattered along their path the more unbearable it becomes. It's the fricking worst mission in the game.

The eruptor feels relatively strong. It can't pierce the high-end of medium armor (hulk eyeslot etc) but is able to one-shot devastators if you place your shot well. Backpack shots on machinegunners seem to always one hit kill, which is pretty valuable to have on a primary.
Yeah I was shocked by how much it smashes devastators. One shot, two shot at worst, and I think three shot berserkers. Is it Op GOAT? Didn't feel that, it's got issues, but if you never use your primary much (machine gun stratagem) then it'd be quite useful. Like yeah my MMG can rip up a devastator but it's also wasting ammo doing so. I'm going to keep trying the battle rifle because I like how it is visually, but I was underwhelmed trying it. Granted it was against berserkers and even fricking pre-nerf autoshottie often mag-dumped to take one out.

why is this game so successful?
it is plagued by constant gamebreaking bugs AH takes weeks to fix, its really low in content, the difficulty scaling just adds modifiers that make the game less fun, an theres basically no progression after like 30 hours since youve unlocked everything
the gameplay is somewhat entertaining but gets repetitive rather quick, probably because the only objectives in the game is to run around places and either blow them up or click shit repeatedly on a terminal
not to mention the games main selling point, the world map, is obviously rigged with the way events on the map coincide with updates and content drops - i mean seriously, does no one remember for honor and their faction map?

Well for one, making things explode is just smooth brain fun in general. But I think the real answer is that Arrowhead has found a way to do Live Service in an engaging way.
Most people I know love the fact that the map is constantly changing in real time and that somebody behind the scenes is actually controlling the enemies. It makes it so there's something new and exciting going on almost every time you log on. In some ways it's like playing a D&D game. Plus the little hints they drop in the game orders or on social media is a good way to build hype. The mech suits, blue lasers and now this whole, "Joel," incident are great examples. Mix that with a season pass shit that you can actually earn by playing the game and doesn't require actual money and you got a formula for success despite the numerous flaws. Turns out, when a game runs well and the developers actually engage with and listen to the community that people are more willing to overlook the bad things.

Eruptor fills a different role. It's much too slow to be used as a main primary and cannot pierce most of the important armor breakpoints for bots.
It's godlike against bugs because it destroys high difficulty bile spewers, the big summoner boys, and hive guards along with having a large aoe.

It can one-shot them, but it's a bit odd because of the AOE effect. I've seen it oneshotting (and not oneshotting) the back end, and oneshotting from the abdomen which seems more consistent. Headshotting doesn't usually kill them due to the armor I think

The normal rifle is nice because can 2 hit kill devastators in the head like amr. Gonna grind for pistol and xbow. Also nade can blow up fabricator but has same difficulty as impact nade.
Disregard comment about normal new rifle since devastators on higher diff either have more hp or something is fricky with multiplayer since i tested it in private lobby and it 2 hs killed while with people on higher diff did not.

Reloading bench works like the ICBM terminal with 9 different steps that must be completed before you can reload the cartridge. Then and only then can you reload the pistol.

so theoretically the eruptor is good against bots, and when you do land a shot, it's pretty impactful
but the thing aims SO MOTHERFRICKING SLOW. it's slower to turn than even missile launchers. and you have to deal with its horrible inertia whenever you want to hit anything at all. it's so fricking awful to actually try to line up shots on devastators that are peppering you with assrape because you WILL get hit trying to line something up and the aimpunch is so severe that it basically resets your entire reticle
I'll probably try it against bugs because I only use my primary for armor piercing at medium range but it's just pain against bots imo

Love me Eruptor, I am stuck on what support weapon to bring though, bringing AMR / AC / Railgun / GL / ArcT / LC feels kinda redundant in some way in each case, so that leaves the array of underwhelming MGs, der flammenwerfer, and the AT suite. I guess AT is the default choice, or Stalwart if you forget that you have Redeemer.
Guess I'll just roll Supply Pack + QC or EAT and see how it goes.

With the exception of the increased radar ping distance and the hellpod steering, ship modules seem to exclusively augment and upgrade stratagems in HD2. So I assume something like a grenade upgrade would be booster rather than a ship module if we ever got such a thing.
