That's the point. It has autocannon/AMR level armor pierce, this is a primary for when your support weapons is your actual primary. Like stalwart. There's nothing except stalwart though, both other MGs are shit and stalwart is barely good.
Dominators problem is the all the muzzle smoke and high recoil makes follow up shots a pain. Things dont die unless you're hitting them with explosive type or their magic glowing weak spot. Ridiculous that I can fire 8 shots into a devastor and the homie just keeps on walking.

Supply lines are not displayed in game. You have to use out of game tools to see them. The majority of the playerbase has no idea how they work or that they even exist as a mechanic. This was evident with the one buggo order to take zagon prime and fori prime. Instead of going hellmire > nivel > zagon the masses went for oshaune thinking it was closer to zagon. However, that chain goes fori > oshaune > omicron > zagon. The order failed because of this.
It also does not help that liberation depends heavily on the % of total active players on a planet. The masses decide the front that gets pushed and if the masses are wrong its fricked.

You need 3,000 to unlock each paid pack, but each contains 300, so the total cost is 2,100, and the main pack will easily get you a third of that, so you only need to find some 1,500.
Maps contain 15 credits on average, that's a hundred games, at 25 minutes per game you get 40 hours.

I checked, the only time "fortification" is mentioned is in the flavor text of the HMG Emplacement. In the modules, turrets are called sentries and minefields are called emplacement stratagems.

There needs to be an actual incentive to play against bots. They know they're getting the weapons anyway. I think bots are a lot of fun but bugs are just easier to grind. They should give you unique rewards based on if you're fighting bugs or bots. Make people actually play the game. I don't understand why you need to bump difficulty for super samples but you're also allowed to ignore half the game and get the same stuff.

Bind stratagems to your arrow keys if you're on PC so you can run and use them. It's basically mandatory to play the game. If PS5, I don't know, I think they use the d-pad and reach over with their right thumb or something, every PS5 player I play with runs and activates them too.
Get used to diving a ton

Always be on the move
Don't pick unnecessary fights (patrols, stationed enemies). If you do, good luck killing them all before they call backup
There's stealth mechanics, crouching/crawling actually work
If on PC, bind strats to arrow keys. I also recommend per weapon aim modes

The best way to play solo is to avoid every fight you can but go absolutely ham when you have to take one.
Stealth mechanics are mostly functional and mostly work the way that you would expect but do note that changing stances makes noise.
anon, you don't have to rebind your keys if you don't feel like it. Just hit the dive button and hit your buttons while you're headed for the ground. Literally every enemy in the game struggles hard to land a hit on you while you're diving. Rebinding works of course, I'm just saying it's nowhere near the huge advantage people seem to think it is.

All guns you fire have a penetration value 1 to 10
All enemies you fire at have an armor value 1 to 10.
If your penetration is higher than armor you do 100% of damage. If it's less you do 50. If penetration is too low, itll just bounce. Also each part you shoot at has damage reduction. IE a charger ass has no armor but has a ton of damage reduction so it doesnt matter what you shoot at it. Also none of this is explained in game by the way. Get fricked Black person.
There are five tiers of penetration for guns
>Light armor pen (Most primaries, Stalwart)
Can hit unarmored trash, and weakpoints on medium enemies like Devs or Hive Guards
>Medium armor pen (Medium pen primaries, normal MG)
Can penetrate armor on medium enemies
>Light vehicule armor pen (Autocannon, AMR, HMG)
Can damage Hulk eyes, Tank/Turret vents, and other similar weakspots, and break Scout Strider faceplates
>Vehicule armor pen (EAT, RR, Quasar, Unsafe Railgun)
Can hit any enemy
>Heavy vehicule armor pen (Spear)
Can destroy Fabricators from any angle
The remaining penetration tiers are used solely for stratagems and enemy buildings, with the Hellbomb/SEAF nuke being the only stratagems with max tier armor pen, and with the Gunship Fabricator being the only enemy with max tier armor.
there is also medium + which can pen more things like

>scout strider shields
>shrieker nests
and seems to deal more (probably full) damage to the regular medium penetration things

The laser cannon is absolute garbage. Takes ages to kill stuff while the railgun can one-shot almost everything.

Does nothing. It is an eagle cluster strike that you carry on your bag. It's only good against enemies you can kill with cluster strike, which is everything except tanks, hulks, walking fabricators and towers. Titan and chargers are ok because they have soft spots.

This isn't correct, I got my hands on it a couple days ago from a chinese hacker bro and I used it for a full match. It's a fricking amazing trash clearer, and definitely good against aerial targets, the only thing that sucks about it is how useless it is against armored stuff.
I don't want any of the new weapons or stratagems. I'm going to go fight the bugs instead.

The Spear has more problems then that. It's the fact that you not only have to fight with the shitty lock on, but it doesn't even one hit kill heavies reliably. This is horrible balancing considering how slow it is to use and the limited ammo. It's clearly balanced to be this anti heavy launcher that destroys everything but you better have good positioning and save those shots. High risk low reward type weapon when the other launchers does it job better and more easier

The explosion and ragdoll is bad enough, but fire on top of it just makes it a guaranteed death as your character struggles to get up before you can dive

Yeah there is videos out there by the devs of what they do already. They both suck. Honestly devs should prioritize bugs then a full on weapon and stratagem rework/rebalance. Some options are just too fricking good. They shouldn't be nerfed too badly though, other options should be buffed so they're truly comparable.
The frick is a couple of mines going to do for you when you have an army up your ass chasing you? Mines are defensive tools, and Helldivers are pure offensive units. Skirmishers. I ratter just take another bombardment.
