I have little hopes for TESVI, but I do have hopes for the game being a good sandbox for another 10+ years of modding.
Especially since Bethesda is hopefully getting forced to reduce bugs due to big daddy Microsoft
Basically this. I don't think they can realistically create an amount of polished cities/quests/NPC's that will trump Skyrim and the vanilla game will be no more than okay. My best bet is that they're going to lean into the Skyrim modding community and encourage modding in TES VI a lot.
while that is a possibility, another one would be that microsoft keeps hands off since they would not want to "ruin the magic" via corporate interference, not knowing that bethesda is basically corporate interference held together by a flimsy rope woven out of incompetence, nepotism and nostalgia.
I fricking wish.
It'll be yet another geographically homogenous land with about 6 cities and about 12 towns and maybe 140 named npcs living in all of them and I'll be fricking butthurt about it.
ESO writers already proved that they can, at best, add pointless details to already established characters, and at worst just ruin established lore. If TES6 has any of the same writers at all I'll just automatically assume it's the worst-written game yet.
looks nice, even though the game will be a rancid bucket of MEH as always.

How did you know?
looks like europe
>he thinks Todd is going to give them 2 provinces
L OL
They don't have much of a choice when the borders look like this. Pic related.
probably will, if you think we will have a full on TES game in one of the non human places you are moronic, might as well do them now
those clouds? all dlc baby
Glad they decided to go with High Rock.
High Rock, Hammerfell, Orsinium and The Reach
Like I said High Rock. Playing in an Arthurian setting with internal politics and strife as the background will be fun.
it's still funny to me that everyone thought it was gonna be hammerfall because they trademarked redfall and it ended up being a vampire left 4 dead
They thought it was going to be Valenwood because of a fake leak.
They are easily fooled
I feel like I've known it was going to be in high rock since like 2013.
No matter where TES6 takes place it's going to be ruined by references/comparisons/allusions to TESO.
They don't really mention their own past games. I see no reason why they would reference a lesser studios entry.
>going to be ruined by references/comparisons/allusions to TESO.
Skyrim didn't have that many references to Oblivion

>ESO writers
They don't work at Bethesda Maryland, the ESO team works at Zenimax.
>implying ESO doesn't have the best lore out of all games
Silence, boomer.
bro... mannimarco bro... from like, daggerfall? and oblivion?? u remember him bro... bro u like morrowind heres sotha sil bro... epic...
>implying the devs have played any game other than skyrim enough to make references to it
>implying the devs play any of the games at all
>tfw we'll never get an elder scrolls game set in black marsh
I feel your pain, anon. Damn normalgays couldn't handle it.
I'd kill for a TES set in Blackmarsh with Morrowinds gameplay.
Technology is not there yet, closest we'll get is that avatar game
>with Morrowinds gameplay.
There wont be High Rock only Hamerfell as shown previously by Bethesda.
Also the Redditor that made that map fricked up the location of the cities.
I just hope they dont include level scaling loot and enemies again.
Think they could figure out functional boats without making it like an NPC wearing the boat as a hat in a scripted sequence?
Those islands will be DLC 100%
>Extend Scandinavia
>Remove Britain and Iberia
Quality map there
