Its a kino Action JRPG with really good bossfights and kino story, it on the surface just looks like a disney crossover but it has a really strong identity of its own. any haters are pathetic gays and seethers

Basically traveling through disney worlds (everything from Alice in Wonderland to Tron) with a convoluted but fun story and excellent gameplay that arguably gets better with each game. Definitely worth playing 1 2 and 3.
Only play 1, (numbers) Days, 2, Birth By Sleep, Dream Drop Distance, and 3 in that order. Read the plot synopsis for the rest of them. 1 is incredibly dated, it will be a bit of struggle to get through. 2 is one of the best action games ever made and the rest are very solid. good luck getting your hands on a copy of Days, they didn't even bother remaking it, it's just a movie in the collections.

The games are fun as hell ARPGs and as for the story, if you can accept it's corniness it has some of the most sincere emotional moments in video games, and also some of the most high concept crazy writing. I love this series through all it's wackiness.

It's an autistic convoluted shitfest where any remote attempt at actual weight in edgy content is softened because of Disney's tight grip on how their property is portrayed, but damn if KHFM and KH2FM isn't some godtier hack-n-slashin. Play it for the superbosses.

First of all you should learn about it's extremely complicated plot and playthrough order, if you try to go 1->2->3 you're going to suffer.
Anyways, KH follows a kid as he gets mired up in, as later entries reveal, shit that's been going down long since before he was born, as he beats up various types of evil across Cliffs' Notes versions of Disney movies with a big baton you're supposed to think is a sword. Expect to hear DARKNESS, LIGHT, KEYBLADE, HEART, and FRIENDS so much that they turn from words into noise, and watch as Donald Duck and Goofy ruin all narrative tension in any scene.
It's fun regardless.

Any game series that gets into Smash gets instant recognition and a boost in sales
Companies bid for Smash slots, and they will bid a lot of money. They will throw the fans a bone with Banjo, etc once in a while, but this is why you're favorite character from a niche game will not get in: there is no money to be made.
Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix is one of the best action RPGs ever made. Also, the music is a 10/10 in every game.
