i just beat queen yarnham to 100% it using a dungeon guide to find the quickest and fastest path. holy shit i hate the dungeon chalices wtf. i hope the game comes out on pc so modders can remix the enemy placement and actually put all those dungeon assets to good use. they could make an entire new area just using unique dungeon floortiles and enemies
Bloodborne is such a piece of shit game holy frick I don't know why it's praised so much.
There's literally 0 danger moving between areas whereas in other Souls games, the journey to the boss fight is often just as treacherous as the boss itself.
Chalice dungeons are the worst fricking filler material but for some reason Bloodborne gets a pass.
The locales are not as distinct or unique as other Souls games. Even late-game you still encounter those horrid gothic statues of shrieking people melded together. Cool at the start of the game and had me wondering, "Frick, if this is what I'm seeing now, I wonder what eldritch horrors I'll be seeing in 30 hours!" (Spoiler: the exact same thing)

Phase 1 is just parry practice, phase 2 is when he becomes spastic and the difficulty starts until you figure out that you can just dodge past his attacks to charge a heavy back attack.
