Because Ganker only talks about FOTM garbage
>Get to the DLC area
>Nothing but blood plague
Hey OP, is 1 worth playing as well or is 2 just a straight overall upgrade if I had to play just one of them?
Just play 2.
2 is straight up upgrade with a lot of qol improvements, like you not needing to save your characters every minute, or can unload loot straight up from car
Unfortunately, they replaced having to save YOUR characters with side collective storylines that will straight up fail if you don't do them when they start crying for help. There is always something that needs immediate doing when you just want to get food or materials for your fricking group.
1 is nice because you can have a cosy church base
whats so great about it? I got bored very fast. I remember enjoying the first game but I think it was because I was 12 when it came out
It's honestly extremely tedious. Eliminating plague hearts is a whole extra layer of busywork than the first game, and it's also extremely cheap. The last one I tried to take out spawned 2 (two) feral zombies on me and they take concentrated effort to kill alone. You better have a car you aren't afraid to trash or an excess of ammo. And don't even dream of taking followers (at least from your own collective) or they WILL die.
Ganker doesn't play good games.
>zero info on 3 other than the "we want the TLOU2 audience" trailer
it's not looking good. they could have made a good game if bumped up character customization and made hostile enclaves send out patrols.
>"we want the TLOU2 audience" trailer
?
because for some reason you still can't upgrade walls in the 2nd game so zombies can climb over or bash the doors down to get in
damn dude you sound like a fricking moron
I am right
The game is fun but it's honestly the one game where I'll complain that theres too much forced diversity that it becomes a bit distracting.
its a moot point because you can re-roll which initial survivors you get and you have absolute control over who joins your enclave.
of course, you can b***h about how that makes the game harder, but then again you'd b***h anyways because you're not really white, just a lazy mexican trying to pass for white who'd never put in the work required to create a white ethno-state in the post-apocalypse.
All characters are randomly generated, so I wouldn't really call it a forced diversity
The only example of forever black I can think of is soldier from tutorial, no matter the gender
The watered down RPG elements compared to 1 pissed me off. Co op is amazing but its kind of tacked on, if i recall anyone that isn't the host doesn't get their progress saved. If 3 addresses those issues I'll play the shit out of it
About multiplayer, I liked how if someone dies then his character dies in his world too. That's how multiplayer in all games with roguelike elements should be, instead of souls like where invaders/helpers don't lose anything important if they die
Really? I had issue where you can't build everything since there only 3 building slot and 10 building that you can build.
Because they burned all the good will of their fanbase by double dipping on the first game where it wasn't required and giving a shoddy answer/response in retort to it. The devs are chodes.
Because it's a slap in the face to everyone that got 1. Everything about this game was promised to be in 1 but they lied and used it to put out 2.
1 was comfy as hell bros
