ironman+nightmare on ascension was kino because you had to play the game like a roguelike and have a strategy for every encounter since anyone your level could one shot you

I don't know if this was changed but there were ironman pkers who specifically hunted down ironman+nightmare players which were basically free kills if you could catch them, that's more what I meant

The thing that made old WoW fun was that MMOs weren't oversaturated and old news, it was still novel to have social experiences with other real people over the internet. You'll never get that feeling back no matter how many times you start a new character because this just isn't how anyone plays MMOs anymore.
You're going to go through an optimal progression flow, get end game gear within a week, and realize MMOs are a massive waste of your time and money and unsub again.
Don't let Activision trick you into giving them more money dude, you know you aren't going to have fun anyway, don't fall for it.

yeah. the first couple weeks of dragonflight when world quests and rares were the ones handing out BiS were great
