Skill Difference? Probably marginal. But there are physical differences that do widen that gap. Muscles are simply built different on males. Even skin is different. Compounded with different skeletal structure there simply are gender differences which aid in certain tasks. Add on thousands of years of growth and the difference in skill comes down to ability. I'm sure every woman can lift, and skillful lifting would allow women to lift more. But skill cannot compensate for different, and often better, fundamental merits.
If you put a man and a woman and had them train autistically at a game for 10k hours, I'd say they would be of comparable skill. The thing is that women won't really sit down to practice any particular thing for 10k hours, so there's not a lot of woman masters in most fields.

I would mostly agree except women on a genetic level are worse at navigating 3D spaces and remembering things in 3D space.
When humans were hunter gathers, women wouldn't venture as far from camp as men, so men gradually became more proficient at remembering routes and space. Women became more proficient at differentiating colors which helped them pick non toxic fruits and detect berries that were ripe.
That's why if women are into video games they usually like "menu games" like JRPGs or SIM games. In DRG, you can get easily lost if you can't navigate the 3D terrain scanner.

I don't understand what you're trying to say? the IQ bell curve pretty clearly shows there's more women who have an average IQ of 100 then there are men with an IQ of 100, because there's more men on both the low and high end of the spectrum. women solve problems differently than men.
games are about testing reflexes, memorizing patterns and spatial awarness and percision. These are traits men value.
Pacman was made for women, by a man, that was really popular. the appeal of that game had some of those traits and the game is better played by men, but the problem solving was mostly about being chased(women love being chased) and mastering your personal space.

Usually you can use lateral thinking to be able to transfer some usage of controls from one genre to another so at least you're not starting from scratch.

For instance, when BAR was relatively new people would actually say people who have been playing Total Annihilation for actual decades had no pre-existing skill for the game. Because the video game medium was created by, and for, men. Simple as. It's the same as sports. There will be a small minority of women that perform well but most of them won't.
Most women lack a competitive drive. To them it's not about overcoming a challenge / getting a trophy / beating a record / defeating another player. It's all about having fun which is why they stop the second a game is no longer fun to them. Remember all the games you've grinded to the point of absolute boredom and exhaustion. You really didn't enjoy yourself back then but you put in the work because you were chasing a goal. Most women won't do that. This is also why most female speedrunners are trannies: It's hardwired into male DNA to compete.
Basic video game skills actually take a long time to build up. It's why guys who don't play a lot of games suck too. Basic video games skills like being able to figure out controls, follow directions the game points you in, knowing the game rules and what you can and can't do. Then on top of that you have more specific skills built into every genre. Someone who is good at strategy games won't always be good at fighting games.
