We've been explicitly told that Future Connected hints at the future of the series.
Even if we don't think that Morag's and Melia's voice actresses knew what they were talking about when they hinted at reprising their roles, and we assume that all the Xenoblade composers working on something together are working on something besides Xenoblade, we still have explicit official confirmation that the series has a future.
I wasn't expecting anything Xenoblade yesterday. There are signs that some of the composers are starting to finish their first pieces for 3, but you need more than that to put together music for a reveal trailer.
So I feel fine. I know it's coming. I'm in no rush.
It has fun and unfun parts that definitely need fixing, but overall I'm glad I played it, it was a cool experience. I think it has potential that wasn't fully explored, hopefully it comes back and also gets a sequel at some point on the next console.
So do we expect absolutely new game with little nods to the previous entries (like Xenoblade 2) or characters from 1 and 2 continuing into new story with additional main new character (or something like that)?
I really hope they tweak the combat and make it more like Tales of Arise/FFVII remake.
I liked different systems and mechanics of X2 combat, but looking at auto attack waiting for a thing to press with every single fight starting slowly can become really tiresome.
I, for one, do NOT want such battles systems. They don't feel like jrpgs anymore. XC2 managed to keep an good balance of modern live action battle systems, all while keeping elements from jrpg battle systems of old, making it feel like I'm playing an actual jrpg, and not a watered down Bayo or DMC button masher.
You get to control and switch between the blade and driver in combat on the fly switching also activates a switch art which usually breaks, topples, launches or smashes. also rather than having healing arts switching between blade and driver heals you a certain amount, and of course cooldowns are separate it makes the combat feel alot more fast paced and engaging.
1. Instead of switching between 3 Blades, you switch between 2 Blades, and switch between Driver and Blade.
2. Switching between Driver and Blade is also a Art with part of the Driver Combo as an effect. Everyone also has their own Talent Art. That means you've got 5 Arts available to you at any time, instead of just 3. 15 total instead of 9, if you include switching during battle.
3. You take more damage overall, but part of your HP bar turns red instead of disappearing entirely. Switching between Driver and Blade heals all your red HP.
2. Every Special inflicts an orb, not just Level 3 Specials following a specific combo path.
4. The most important (in my opinion) but also most often overlooked change is that the entire party is in battle at once, and every character can equip all of their Arts at once. No need to frick around with the party to find the perfect setup for a particular battle. You don't need to fail because you didn't know the enemy's strengths and weaknesses until starting the fight. You have all the tools you need in every battle, as long as you're capable of recognizing them and adapting on the fly.
>Everyone also has their own Talent Art. That means you've got 5 Arts available to you at any time, instead of just 3. 15 total instead of 9, if you include switching during battle.
I am sick of this meme, Blade Specials are just arts working on slightly different conditions. Do you also ignore TP arts in X because they don't work the same way as regular arts? You have 7 arts in 2 for a Driver/Blade duo, not 3 >No need to frick around with the party to find the perfect setup for a particular battle. You don't need to fail because you didn't know the enemy's strengths and weaknesses
The enemies don't have that much tools to justify this being an improvement.
It had good ideas, but overall it dumbed down the combat. Acceptable for the short game Torna is, wouldn't be acceptable for a full fledged game like XC2 that lasts more than 15h.
Mah homie. For me it's Alba Cavanich Night and Fonsa Myma Night
Frick. I know they will somehow be able to top XC2's soundtrack with XC3, but I can't realistically fathom *how*. The waves entering my ears will completely blown them away alongside my brain, and I'm eager for it.
I still prefer XC1's and then X's to 2. 2 had Gormott, Mor Ardain, Argentum, Counter attack, and the regular battle theme but I didn't care for that many others
Incoming is the blade one right? Honestly didn't like that one, don't remember Amalthus, Jin Boss themes, or battle in the skies above but I will give you Still move forward, and You will recall our names
XC3/or XCX2 need more time if they're gonna match the scope 2 and X have setup so far and not feel a bit rushed or fricked like early C2 did, or the end of X.
Shit the frick it
Based
We know it's being made we just have to wait until it's formally announced.
Do we know for sure tho?

It's all coming together Xenobros.
About what?
I'd rather have them announce XB3 on a new&more powerful console, the game deserves better.
I sold my switch already
moron
It's being made and it's getting extra time in the oven and will be released a few months after reveal considering Nintendo's new marketing strategy.
>I sold my switch already
Nice, dumbass
>PS4/PC/Xbox
Give a reach around to Harada and the entire Bamco financial analytic team for them to do something with the Xenosaga IP.
I want a Xeno game on PS4/PC/Xbox, frick those Switch PS2 graphics.
graphics dont matter
Lol that'll never happen
Xenoblade DE and 2 literally have better graphics than any other Xeno games.
Tell me why I should cope.
I don't need anything after XB2, I'm good.
I wasn't expecting an announcement given the release dates for the past games.
I wasn't expecting anything Xenoblade yesterday. There are signs that some of the composers are starting to finish their first pieces for 3, but you need more than that to put together music for a reveal trailer.

By replaying Xenogears, the only worthwhile one.
It's kind of a bummer that we didn't get any news, but it also means they're pouring more time into it, which is rarely a bad thing.
is xenoblade chronicles x good?
emulate it and see for yourself
It’s my favourite gameplay wise, but it doesn’t have too much of a story, and I think it’s the hardest one.
Here's a song from 1:
And its equivalent in 2:
And in Torna:
And finally X:
You decide if X is any good.
It has fun and unfun parts that definitely need fixing, but overall I'm glad I played it, it was a cool experience. I think it has potential that wasn't fully explored, hopefully it comes back and also gets a sequel at some point on the next console.
Yes. Ignore the plot and focus on quests
The former but it can have elements of the latter, like members of the Trinity Processor returning
Depends of your own taste, for me it's shit, for my cousin it's awesome.
Yes but you may not like it
Here's a song from 1:
And its equivalent from 2:
And finally X:
You decide if X is any good.
Boobs
Celebrating because Xenoblade 3 would be censored to Bayonetta 3.
>censored

At the last 10% of the game it will be revaled is connected to the previous two in a big way.
I am chill, if Bayonetta gays can wait, so we can.
Torna > XC2 base game
I really hope they tweak the combat and make it more like Tales of Arise/FFVII remake.
I liked different systems and mechanics of X2 combat, but looking at auto attack waiting for a thing to press with every single fight starting slowly can become really tiresome.

Torna's gameplay was perfect I hope they do something similar for 3.
How was it changed compared to base Xeno 2? I didn't play Torna yet.
It's a simpler version of it with talent arts and a driver combo when switching characters
You get to control and switch between the blade and driver in combat on the fly switching also activates a switch art which usually breaks, topples, launches or smashes. also rather than having healing arts switching between blade and driver heals you a certain amount, and of course cooldowns are separate it makes the combat feel alot more fast paced and engaging.
>of course cooldowns are separate
What cooldowns are you even talking about?
Orb Master on every one and making Driver Combos even easier is not better, Tora with QTpi can do tge exact same thing
They had to make concessions and simplify the combat to compensate for the reduced roster.
And yet it somehow made the combat better and more fast paced.
Maybe for your simpleton mind.

>1 2 3 2 4
Apparently I can't fricking count, but the rest of my point stands
>Everyone also has their own Talent Art. That means you've got 5 Arts available to you at any time, instead of just 3. 15 total instead of 9, if you include switching during battle.

Just listening to its music for now
Mah homie. For me it's Alba Cavanich Night and Fonsa Myma Night

Incoming is the blade one right? Honestly didn't like that one, don't remember Amalthus, Jin Boss themes, or battle in the skies above but I will give you Still move forward, and You will recall our names
>Forgetting Driver VS

News next year™
Nothing to cope!
Xenoblade 3/X2 will happen eventually. If not now, then on Nintendo's next console.
