The damage was done before command wver showed up. You'd have to go prevent assault or adventures to stop third party developers who have no clue how to make a star fox game from making them.
Assault was not good. It does not hold up at all as either a star fox game or a shooter both campaign and multi-player. Basically any other shooter that isnt blatant shovelware is better than assault
