It's not particularly hard but the fact it goes out of bounds is complete horse shit and not fun.
In fact the boundary walls are a problem in a lot of stages. The one where your mercilessly murder the trainee pilot has a garbage artificially tiny area with invisible walls too.
you're supposed to kill it with the sword
it even fricking shows you in a video tip to kill it with a sword
you shouldn't even be fighting the thing for more than 1:30 max
literally no idea how people are having trouble with it. i first tried it and i literally died to soldier of godrick twice. but maybe 1600 hours in wart hunter and other flight sims have made me accustomed to tracking targets at high speed
I refuse to believe anyone was filtered by this.
I'm borderline moronic when it comes to games, i've only ever beaten souls games through effort, and I'm exhausted, and it took 5 tries.
He's right tho. AC6 is schizophrenic in it's design in AC1-3 you had a clear aim window you controlled in AC6 they tried to mix the shit that was AC4 with AC5 and it ended with a aiming reticle that travels all around the screen instead being connected to your torso twist.
my first from game was bb, and i thought you had to kill the wolf in the clinic with my bare hands, not realizing you can go to the dream and get a weapon. took about an hour, but ever since they've all been relatively doable.
i cannot imagine the psyche of someone so triggered by a starfox tier hit the glowy bit boss battle.
>Being airborne doesn't guarantee dodging either, you have to use your dash ability to move out of the way at the last second
What else should I be expecting?
AC6 is the easiest entry in the series to date. You people are insane trying to sell this game as some hardcore difficult game. You don't even need anything besides your starting core to breeze it.
>first AC game ever >Killed the helicopter on the second go when I realized I just need to assault boost to it and twat it one with my sword >Go to sleep because it came out at midnight >Wake up to all this helicopter seethe >Had to double check it was the same helicopter because it was a piece of piss to beat
Are most people really shit, or am I just a golden gamer god
Yeah its weird I've never played an AC game before. I died the first time to the first boss because I was low on ammo from running around shooting during the level not realizing ammo was limited use in the game lmao
Second go at the boss I just one shot him by flying at him and sword attacking him plus launching rockets and shooting at him when he was moving away as I moved towards him using the left stick boost function
I dunno what the rage is all about dude was piss easy
the helicopter on the second go when I realized I just need to assault boost to it and twat it one with my sword
This. I realized it and then destroyed him with melee attacks and missiles. Was so damn satisfying.
>Are most people really shit, or am I just a golden gamer god
no, most people can play this game fine just fine, for some reason it's only Ganker that think they're only ones who know how to play a videogame
I guess there are 2 people - the overwhelming majority who are playing the game, and the shitters that are on Ganker and steam forums crying about the helicopter
>You spawn with a rocket launcher and a rifle >The heli will move to another position every 5s, after it moved it will stop for 5s >After it stopped, fire the shoulder rocket with a guarantee hit if you are not behind a cover
When it launch rocket, boost up and quick boost side way to dodge >Keep spamming rifle >Deal enough rocket will stagged it >When it's stagged, boost close to it and hit 2 melee >Repeat until it dies
It was that easy and simple, how can people lose to it????
when you hit its eye with the sword, it's stun locked and loses like a 3rd of its health, it shows you how to do this in a vid after you die.
literal god of war shitterock handheld tier difficulty, it is not remotely hard.
No, the chained ogre was actually hard to beat.
I'm genuinely gobsmacked people are struggling with the helicopter, and not in a meme lul git gud casuals xD meme way

On the surface, but Chained Ogre was meant to teach an alternative lesson that even those who beat him and the game never actually learned, whereas this is equally basic adaptation to learn that is central to the game. People's minds nowadays are literally broken, they can do something a million times in one game and love it but the moment it's put in a slightly different context they will freak the frick out and freeze up incapable of thinking for themselves or reconcile what the game is clearly explaining onscreen. It does not matter how intrinsic and intelligent these tutorials and explanations are, people will refuse to learn and blame it all on the game and demand more intelligent tutorials and things to be made easier. Except when a game outright does make things easier in optional manners and handholds they shit on it for that and ignore any chance of evolving. More and more I find myself despising anyone that plays games and I really don't want to.
I don't give a frick about zoomers, streamers and moron journalist. I don't even give a frick about AC since I have no interest in the series but the important question is are the original fans happy with it? That's all that matters.
My first attempt it just went OOB and I had issues trying to use the sword on it was kind of awkward. Killed it on the 2nd try. Then like 3 missions later I remembered you could fricking heal in this one. So I legit have no idea how people are dying to it since you have so much goddamn health in comparison to the older games.
So it's just impossible, right? I shoot it and it takes no damage, and it can just bomb me from anywhere on the map. I tried using the sword but it was behind an invisible wall and I died trying to fly to it anyway. How the frick did this make it past QA? Did just nobody even try playing the game before they shipped it? Whatever, I refunded it and got Starfield instead, at least that's not going to have fake-ass difficulty.
It's not particularly hard but the fact it goes out of bounds is complete horse shit and not fun.

They should have just left you go OOB like the old games but I get why they did it
>WOOOOOW I WENT PAST A CERTAIN BOUNDRY AND FAILED THE MISSION SHIT GAME
Having the boundary sucks but it's acceptable as long as the enemy adheres to it as well.

How?

ok I kekk’d

Go take a quick read over on Steam and realize that yes, people actually are seething over the helicopter
ENTER:
Kinda sad to read when you know how buggy and badly designed ER is as a game. AC6 is clean on everything.
He's right tho. AC6 is schizophrenic in it's design in AC1-3 you had a clear aim window you controlled in AC6 they tried to mix the shit that was AC4 with AC5 and it ended with a aiming reticle that travels all around the screen instead being connected to your torso twist.

Well done. Anyone who didn’t kill the werewolf with fists didn’t beat the game. And Bloodborne’s most challenging aspect is the constant 12 fps.
I was the same. But then I tried and tried and finally killed him. You know what helped? The blade. Melee. Souls is in this baby

Bro, the average gamer is getting dumber by the year.

>AC6 is the easiest entry in the series to date.
That's not Nexus
AC4 was the baby mode AC before AC6. Nexus is just evenly paced.

I made the thread because I had the exact same experience. I'm disappointed, but not surprised
i died 5 times until i remembered there's an esktus flask
>instant
>can pop it while stunned
meh

Pretty much this. Someone copy pastes a cherry picked comment from the steam forums and everyone piles on it for whatever reason.

>PS2 Shinobi
>DMC2
What other games have a helicopter first boss?
Dirge of Cerberus
just hit it with your sword homie ahaha
Doesn't the bloke literally say something to the effect of it's easier to dodge his barrage when you are airborne
Is this the Chained Ogre all over again?
Chained ogre was way harder, I'm not sure why anyone would really have trouble with this thing.
>chained ogre
>hard
what the frick am i reading
Reading comprehension
I'm reading reading comprehension??

Somehow, Gamespot has a dude who's good at Armored Core
https://www.gamespot.com/videos/armored-core-6-s-rank-combat-gameplay/2300-6462189/
When you die you respawn at the boss with all your estus and ammo refilled, how can they not kill it lmao
I refunded after 6 attempts. Not out of "too difficult", out of "this is more DMC/Character Action then Mech Combat. My fault for going in blind.

Have you never seen a fricking mecha anything?
MechWarrior 3, 4, Online and 5, Titanfal 1 and 2, Chrome Hounds, and Armored Core fricking 1 on the Playstation.
None of them had a fricking stagger bar, thats Sekiro not Mech.
Holy casual.
gaym israeliternalists does not go further than game menu.

Been playing the series since AC1. Nearly came in my pants.
Only those with low standards.

100% game journos are given a different copy.
We will see Armored Core winning GOTY with journos talking about the helicopter meme.
