never stop moving
5 mins a stage (holy shit this is just advice yes it doesnt apply to everything dont >you me)
crit is king, abusing printers/scrappers is how you win easily
you can cancel pretty much anything with sprint and should be doing so.
dont underestimate wisps, they add up to a lot of damage
get in the habit of only getting a couple of chests, then doing the boss - dont loot the whole stage then do the boss, you'll end up with loads of money and wasted time
Get all of the chests in the stage as fast possible. Learn what most items vaguely do and remember which are really good. Pick easier characters like huntress, Loader or Railgunner.
It’s a gambling game, there really is no “getting good” other than maximising each character’s potential within that gamble.
You can master the more difficult guys like the weeb, and still get stomped because you got shit items and couldn’t find good printers.
If you play on command, the game is too easy, even on monsoon, and if you don’t, it’s a fricking nightmare if your items suck.
It’s fun, but pretty shallow by nature of its entire setup.
Still, I enjoyed the railgunner and could reliably win with her. Too bad artificer drops off so hard on loops, and melee sucks against that shithouse hammer boss.
Don't listen to gays that will spout eceleb advice at you, I got gut from purely playing the game and learning things on my own. Once you get better, you'll realize that the biggest eceleb in this community that spouts advice at new players is actually mentally moronic.
I have before, the shield is busted and even one syringe turns his shotgun into a lawnmower. Probably made with those ridiculous difficulty mods in mind because even monsoon is a joke with him.
>he fell for the ror2 meme
It's a shitty unbalanced kusoge for morons that enjoy dying over and over until they get a good item that carries them, but there's always some bullshit that can oneshot you no mattter how good your items are jk I was in the same boat as you but make it like 60 hours
it's a skill issue, I don't know, the game is legit hard for me, but I enjoy it
just stop being slow.
you probably don't even realize how much time you're wasting, but stages should last roughly 6 minutes in total. (assuming you're not loader)
in those 6 minutes, you should have fully looted the entire map and cleared the teleporter event.
Ok so I should probably just play faster. I usually am not that slow but I end up wasting time in the last stages because I feel like my items are shit. Most of the times I don't find anything better so I still have shit items but now I'm at max difficulty
if your items suck then just loop, if you really can’t get anything good in ten stages then you’re extremely unlucky or just not good enough for the moon yet anyway.
Use scrappers and always for newt altars to check the item cauldrons
Moon dude is a cheap Black person that you should just cheese. The devs clearly had no idea how to make him interesting so they just punish you for collecting decent items. Explode him asap or make him take items from you that frick him over not help him like lunar items.
Item whir is literally his easiest phase. Unless you give him shiruken or done parts just stand in the back and pick at him until you get your good ones back.
>get a god run >get hit once by moon Black person’s spinny laser attack >run over
how tf do you consistently not get hit by this? i slip once and the its all done. i’ve only beaten him on drizzle with command on
>he thinks that the sledge-bro is the final boss
>he doesnt know
either git gud or unlock Loader
if you can’t kill stage 4 enemies easily just loop
Wdym get good, just stack crit and crowbar
you uninstall and play risk of rain 1
First game had more interesting items and equipment. Also, the last boss was more enjoyable to fight.
Find a strong balance between speed and item collection.
Get lucky with items.
Thats it.
dont spend more than 5-6 minutes on a stage. getting every item is a valid strategy once you are already good.

you don’t play it

Next character they are going to add is Chef. There has been a teaser on steam.
still sleeping until I see Enforcer
Just mod him in, bro :^)
I have before, the shield is busted and even one syringe turns his shotgun into a lawnmower. Probably made with those ridiculous difficulty mods in mind because even monsoon is a joke with him.
What teaser? From what I know the only Chef teaser was for that Ror1 remastered game. Was there an actual 3d chef model teased?
They mentioned Chef in the dev notes.

should I buy it? Is it good? I am a prostitute for rogue lites
it is good
its fun. i like ror1 better overall, but ror2 is a great "pick up and play for 30 min" type of game.
>How do I get good?
play the game, have fun with it, find a flow that works for you. get some friends and play with them.
get the artifact that lets you choose your items
choose good items
???
i forget what comes next
literally how, just dont spend 20 minutes on one stage, grab a couple items, fight boss, grab more items, teleport
ngmi
just stop being slow.

Just play on easy bro I just picked it up with my buddy and we cleared the very first round.

unlock Bands and Harvester Scythe asap

you move away from the damaging part of the slice, it's easier the further away from him you are
not the moron but i just stand next to him take half his health bar while he does that, its still easy to dodge when hugging him
back the frick up, simple as.
Hahahahahaha How The Frick Is Mithrix Real Hahahaha homie Just Walk Away From The Center Like homie Open Your Eyes Haha
>30 hours
