Internet friends are 99% of the time just a distraction. If that is what you want though you could start adding people on discord etc. Hell, i've had people add me after we went against each other on fighting games.

I don't know, do people even make a lot of friends in their adulthood? The only internet friend I have is guy from gmod darkrp from 12 years ago, and I think I lucked in on him, because any other time someone tried to befriend us on vidya it was either some autist, moronic normalgay or a kid, way younger than we were.
