I live in the first world so I have air conditioning.

Learn how to properly move the air out of where you play so you aren't cooking yourself, A/C isn't going to do shit unless it's either made for a MUCH larger area than you are using it for or you have some actual airflow already.

Insufficient. The real answer is get a portable air conditioner for your room. There's no such thing as hot weather when you control your own climate.

my index never makes my face heat up all that much, no more than the rest of my body when i'm playing games
if it's above 80-85 or really humid i just run the AC but i do actually enjoy being sweaty and working a bit

Between that and a headband to catch sweat, VR got much more comfortable.
But even I wouldn't want to be playing in hecking hot weather when thr AC can barely keep up.

I got a 12k BTU A/C that is absolutely overkill for the room size but it helps offset the heat output of my pc/tv/surround sound

AC. It's a portable unit and it's running 100% the time for the last 3 days, but it's an absolute life-saver. Played 2h+ of pavlov yesterday, had tons of fun, and every now and then i was just standing directly in front of air conditioner for a moment to get this amazingly comfortable blow of really cold air
