HOW. How can I lose?? I'm smarter, I'm BETTER. You're just a bunch of losers licking each other's wounds. HOW CAN A PIECE OF SHIT WHO LIVES IN AN ATTIC DEFEAT ME? WHAT DO YOU HAVE THAT I DON'T?????

>WHAT DO YOU HAVE THAT I DON'T?????
I have best girl.
>interpretive dance
no wonder the game didnt do so well
That's the dancing spin off moron
Is that Light?
pretty much but if light was written by the average death note fan (no real scheme or melodrama, you're just told he's smart and you have to believe it)
Nah, Akechi was a total fraud and that was the point. The only crimes he'd managed to solve were ones he himself had set up, and in the end he was outsmarted by a gaggle of morons and their butthole cat. He's a walking example of the Dunning–Kruger effect.
>WHAT DO YOU HAVE THAT I DON'T?????
Friends.
Such feminine hands
>I'm smarter
Doesn't realize that he was outnumbered 4+ to one
Strega was like that too. They got surprised every time SEES beat them when there's only 3 of them at most.
Man this guy is really smart. After he is finished cleaning our parents blood from his clothes let's beg Him to join our team .
>His plan of whatever + years was foiled because he wanted breakfast
Even without the PT he was fricked, Shido had his number
his plan was stupid anyway
Its because I am not a rehash of the villain with the same name and same shtick right down to the same plot twist from litteraly the prior game.
Who the FRICK greenlit remaking Adachi andrenaming him "Akechi" instead.
Delicious!
uh frickin idiot even if you have 180 IQ
there's like five of us i think
we count up to at least 200 IQs
>P4AU has edgelord villain whose whole deal is "friendship bad"
>despite being over the top coldsteel tier cringe, he actually manages to illustrate a good point about how concern for one's friends can be a handicap
>manages to drive Yu "Chad Thunderwiener" Narukami into a corner by knocking out Chie and Yosuke, then forcing Yu to defend them
>Yu can't dodge attacks, he has to block in order to protect his friends, and as a result he's slowly beaten down
>the "friendship bad I don't need anyone reeeeeeee" shit is still cringe, but you can see why this character believes it, and he's competent enough to provide credible evidence for his moronic philosophy
>P5 has edgelord villain whose whole deal is "friendship bad"
>he willingly enters into a 1v8 fight then is confused as to why he got curbstomped
>but he's hot and he reminds people of a good character in a decent anime so people write essays about how he's so deep and well-realized
>he reminds people of a good character in a decent anime
Which good character from which decent anime? Personally he just reminds me of every stock shonen rival ever.
Light
I suspected as much but that can't be it
you said 'good character'
That wasn't me, babe
sorry sugar
Don't care both Akechi and Sho are trash
>his whole character was that he thinks of and portrays himself as a 100 iq genius when he's really a 10 iq moron
>everyone close to him but Sae figured him out
lmao
>portrays himself as a 100 iq genius when he's really a 10 iq moron
He is genuinely smart. He's able to come up with a way to cheese Sae's Palace while everyone else knows frickall what to do. It's just that the PT's IQ somehow skyrockets to 250 during the reveal.
He's smarter and stronger than the main characters to a point where it doesn't even make sense. This dude was somehow able to solo palaces years before the main characters even knew what a persona was without any help.
He was specifically granted super powers by Demi to compete in the "game." He's supposed to be naturally strong by himself compared to the wild card who needs friends. He didn't need to figure out much about the palaces since all he needs to do is kill the shadow to trigger the collapse, he doesn't need to figure any other function of the palace out. Aldo he's backed by Shido's metaverse scientists if he has more complex questions
>He is genuinely smart
>incapable of actually solving crimes, just drives people nuts with the metaverse power and then "solves" the case after
>tries to big brain Shido but is easily dispatched by an automated contingency
>can't outsmart the PT
>gets into a fight when vastly outnumbered and is baffled when he loses instead of retreating and formulating a new strategy
If his smartest feat was being good at gambling in a fake casino he's not much of a genius
Sorry Akechi, but the physical manifestation of humanity's collective superego decided I get to fuse Personas and save my game, so it was never really a fair fight. Good effort, though.
> these were his last moments alive
What did atlus mean by this bros?
would be nice if he got the smt treatment and gets demon summoning program instead of personas to amp up the lone wolf image but then he'd be more powerful than PT so we can't have that
Does the summoning program even exist in Persona universe anymore? I think it was in If..., but I don't know if P1 said anything about it.
So now that I already know all the big twists, villain reveals, etc in persona 5 due to Ganker osmosis is it still worth buying in October?
Persona 5 never had a particularly interesting story, it's just got very stylish presentation.
>is it still worth buying
Do you have friends?
I think it would be funny if persona 6 had a bait and switch akechi like character. Someone you're 100% expecting to be betrayed by but actually they don't
>Hmm our last Antagonist was called Adachi
>How about we name our next one...Akechi?
Whoever writes these plots is a hack.
Akechi is named after the famous detective Kogoro Akechi.
Adachi is named after the culprit of Japan's first mystery adventure game
I played p5 as my first megaten game and I wasn't spoiled on anything but I still knew akechi was the villain instantly because he looks like yagami light
>guys last time we got a lot of complaints that Adachi's betrayal was too obvious
>okay how about this time we name him after Japan's most infamous traitor
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kogoro_Akechi
>guys last time we got a lot of complaints that Adachi's betrayal was too obvious
See, this is your problem, anon. You think the Japanese care about western pigs and their problems. They don't.
We know nips can't write but the Akechi thing would be even more obvious to a japanese audience
Should have called him Judas. Nobody would suspect that.
Was Akechi's betrayal supposed to be a surprise? He spends half the game saying "I want to catch Phantom Thieves" and he literally blackmails his way into the party.
His name is a reference to Kogoro Akechi and Akechi Mitsuhide.
>Joker was so gay for Akechi that he was brought back in Maruki's world
I fricking hate fujos.
Imagine losing to delicious pancakes.
I lose to them every morning
