I used cheat engine for infinite money with my friend until I got my account suspended for using slurs at people who joined our private races. Haven’t picked it up after my suspension ended
still play it every once in a while. mostly when a new update comes out. speaking of which, next one is coming out real soon. how much you mf got saved?
2000 hours
at the end I was just grinding bogdan to buy all my shit back after a ban until the game glitched and I had to do the setups
I can't be bothered to try to do them with randoms
It's a pain and I've suffered 2000hours worth of morons who can't follow simple instructions, probably in their own language btw, and die outside of cover like morons
I already got everything I want and more, and I never cheated nor felt I was doing an autistic grind of some sort. Only at the beginning, where I had to export cars in order to save some money to get a company to do heists. But it was like 10 hours total of casual grinding with a friend and the business is still somewhat profitable if I decide to go back at it for fun.
>can't finish all my achievements because it's impossible to do the doomsday heist ones with randoms
How long until casuals quit this shit and the only people left are people who know what they're doing?
its griefer kino, there hasnt been any game as good for making other people seethe than this one. getting on my oppressor or deluxo and running after people doing missions then killing them over and over was peak fun
greatest thing was when they would give up irl and their character would stop moving
I played early on when it came out with you morons, there was some mission that you could do over and over that was unintended by Rockstar. I stopped playing after a week or two.
I never bought a shark card and pretty much never wanted to touch it again after 2017 but after Sony gave away 1M a month back when E&E was announced, I found myself getting back in, especially since PS5 version was free
Now that it runs at 60 and I don't have to worry about hackers, I've actually been enjoying the grind of building a criminal empire
It gives you a grind you can't get anywhere else, you aren't chasing XP/level gains or loot that becomes redundant by the next patch, you are building a dominion in the city, owning a shitload of businesses both legal and illegal and you get some of the flashiest vanity in terms of clothes and cars
Still not giving T2/R* a single fricking cent in shark cards
it's not, there's a ton more to do but unfortunately the playerbase is low IQ so it usually boils down to freemode (except the whole map is the airport) and the occasional instanced gamemode
This fricking game is the only one I play consistently nowadays. I've spent more hours on this than any other game. I feel so ashamed for playing it for nearly 10 years.
about an hour when it first came out and about an hour 2 years ago.
Both times it was 1 third loading or crashing. I had such high hopes for a GTA online since playing VC with friends. Had loads of fun in SA:online too and it's as if Rockstar totally missed what made them fun.
The GTA online we got feels more like Playstation home.
>did small jobs for S and G >cooperating with other newbs >having fun, earning 10-20k each mission >feeling like I'm getting somewhere >finally buy the sub >do perico like 30 times >can buy anything I want now >bored af
do people genuinely play this garbage when every lobby has a modder and you can just copy+paste some shit into your game files, give yourself a few billion and never get banned.
And then you get bored. Unless you have friends and you guys are good at improvised fun, you get bored. All the cars and guns and properties and money means nothing when there's nothing fun to do anymore.
My friends and I like doing "Street (Legal) Racing" where we steal npc cars, meet at a landmark and drive to another inside town with the only rules being that you can't run red lights or drive on the wrong side of the rode. It's surprisingly tense to be setting at a red light and watching your friend zoom past that same intersection. But that's only if we were already o gta. We havent played it in months.
6 months solid on release, a month here or there over the years when they added major DLC, last time I played it for about 2 weeks when the cayo heist dropped.
It is OK but grinding for cash and relying upon randoms is a headache
I was having decent fun until I discovered the gang I hung out with was full of literal pedos and shit traumatized me enough to hate the rest of the game
>it's far too late to get into now.
no it isn't. they're making it easier to solo everything instead of needing you to join public lobbies with random morons
It's the best time to join in
Soloing is boring as frick though. Unless you're hardcore dedicated to the grind, It isnt worth it. The game is a boring grind alone and frustrating in pubs. Even in coop missions it's annoying as some smooth brain will hop on his MK2 and finish the mission in 2 secs before you even get to do anything. Or scream at you to get in their Karuma/Insurgent.
not him but, if i'm being honest no it's not, i play this game solo a ton but it's only truly fun when i'm playing with friends, doing the missions or just fricking around in free mode.
>Played on ps4 for a while before finally getting fed up with the game's bullshit. >Stayed off for a few months while still collecting that $1,000,000 every month from the ps store. >Finally went back to it with enough money to buy an oppressor and a bunch of upgraded weapons and shit >flew around for a while helping other players by escorting them while they deliver their cargo >never played it again
The most recent update. I used to play Online daily mainly because my buddies played it aswell, so we were all part of the same crew. However tryhards and griefers ruined the game for them so they moved on (first to Battlefield then Fifa), so I continued to play at least once a day to do a Cayo Perico once a day.
However the most recent update was kinda lackluster and around January I stopped playing online daily. I'll probably jump back on for the new update but otherwise I play very rarely.
About two min of the first mission.
I felt the controls to be weird, then when I had to aim the rifle at the bank people and shoot one of them I instinctively turned off the game and never touched it again.
I have a few hundred hours in it and I would likely still play it from time to time if it was loading screen into senseless loading screen into unskippable cutscene with nearly every activity that you can do in the game. The phone menu is ungodly trash as well.
I used cheat engine for infinite money with my friend until I got my account suspended for using slurs at people who joined our private races. Haven’t picked it up after my suspension ended
cheat engine never worked, moron
Except it did moron. I gave myself like half a billion dollars using the LS customs cheat engine bullshit
gotcha, say goodbye to your account, lynx
Like I give a frick. Suck my dick
Also I gave myself XP, not just money
15 minutes. Then I got filtered because I saw nobody plays it but children and turd worlders
Longer than any respectable person should.
Like a week, got mic banned for talking shit to some young homosexuals who were talking shit first. Guess I hurt their feelings 🙁
stayed for the heists, did any freemode shit in a solo lobby
still play it every once in a while. mostly when a new update comes out. speaking of which, next one is coming out real soon. how much you mf got saved?
not as much as i usually do, but the next update seems to be mostly quality of life anyway, which is honestly about damn time.
2000 hours

1500 hours
Can you play it solo or do you need friends?
You can play it solo and use matchmaking to do heists, but it's always better to find people in the discord server.
you don't need friends to grief and troll
>can't finish all my achievements because it's impossible to do the doomsday heist ones with randoms
How long until casuals quit this shit and the only people left are people who know what they're doing?
Before you started being labeled as a griefer for blowing up other people's cars. So for the first couple of months.
I played for a very short time. I threw a grenade at some people trying to "film" something and got yelled at. I wasn't interested after that.

Like 2 weeks before realizing what a massive israelite money trap it was

0 hours. I played GTA4 online for a while and it was fun for a bit but it was very shallow, I presume GTA5 is the same.
it's not, there's a ton more to do but unfortunately the playerbase is low IQ so it usually boils down to freemode (except the whole map is the airport) and the occasional instanced gamemode
from october 2013. Still do occasionally. More than most other games.
This fricking game is the only one I play consistently nowadays. I've spent more hours on this than any other game. I feel so ashamed for playing it for nearly 10 years.
Got boring fast like everything Rockstar related.
about an hour when it first came out and about an hour 2 years ago.

I think nearly 200 hours TIME WASTED
Too long, I want 2013-2017 back.
>did small jobs for S and G

and then what? buy all the things? and then what?
do the missions from the thing, wait for new update and buy all the new things and do those new thing missions, rinse and repeat
And then you get bored. Unless you have friends and you guys are good at improvised fun, you get bored. All the cars and guns and properties and money means nothing when there's nothing fun to do anymore.

Long enough to learn how to play it then I switched to fivem
Since launch on PS3. Wasnt gonna get it on PS4 but i got it from a friend for free. Don't have a PS5 yet so probably done with it.
6 months solid on release, a month here or there over the years when they added major DLC, last time I played it for about 2 weeks when the cayo heist dropped.
It is OK but grinding for cash and relying upon randoms is a headache
Roughly three months
I was having decent fun until I discovered the gang I hung out with was full of literal pedos and shit traumatized me enough to hate the rest of the game
Make empty session and play with friends only.
Not a single day and it's far too late to get into now.
>it's far too late to get into now.

I guess I should have added that it hardly seems worth it.
Think it's worth it anon? After that cat game this week it'll be in my backlog.
>After that cat game this week it'll be in my backlog.
So a walking sim is worth it to you but an online experience with a bunch of stories isn't?
not him but, if i'm being honest no it's not, i play this game solo a ton but it's only truly fun when i'm playing with friends, doing the missions or just fricking around in free mode.
played for about 30 hours then I got bored
also the character creator is terrible
