I sincerely think its slowly on the way out, things feel like they have significantly improved from the peak SJW era circa 2016 though. Nothing wrong with "ugly" characters if it's naturally part of the setting/story/being realistic, but its really only annoying when you can tell they're trying to get brownie points for. I only played Fable 2 but my impression is that this character is more for playing off the setting/tone of the games than trying to appeal to anyone.
