the old team got replaced. It was around the time Recruit got removed from comp. Game became sovlless and I quit ever since. Frick these snowflakes I want to play as generic grunts.
You don't really need to in Siege. When you spot an enemy his icon shows up on HUD and even without that their garments look different enough that you can more or less discern who are you facing - SAS is full black, SWAT doesn't cover faces, GIGN is black and blue, GSG9 has casualwear and lighter armor and SPECNAZ wears camo.
That's really not that important in a game like this, something like tf2 sure and the game has all the different distinct designs for that reason, it's not needed here and they still all have the same basic silhouette, you don't have time to read the details anyway
>They wanted to add more visual diversity
they were doing just fine with that for the first couple years, it doesn't mean they had to go off the rails with that shit like they have been
It would help your case if you included visuals of the "first couple of years"
>They wanted to add more visual diversity

I loved recruit too, people seethed so hard about that lil guy
>it's SAM FISHER >except it's a new, new voice >and a massive coat >and his goggles only sit attached to his belt so you'll never see them >so basically if we didn't say it was Sam you'd have no idea
That's not really a problem in R6S. It's not like TF2 where different classes have different weaknesses. In R6S you look for traps and shoot anyone you see.
it doesn't really matter since the only thing you have to consider when shooting someone is how much armor they have, which you can usually tell by the size of their profile. that said, you could easily tell which operator was which back when specific guns were unique to them. siege's soundstage is utterly wasted now, they ruined the game in every way.
I'm pretty sure nothing really changed in usefulness - the ones that didn't play very well like Fuze or Castle got shafted even more, and the ones that did, like Thatcher, Thermite or Jager are still top picks.
Still really strong honestly. I have everyone up until Y4 or Y5 and those guys are still getting picks. If anything it’s the new guys that feel weak and unoriginal, I didn’t feel like getting any of them, not to mention almost all of them are reusing old guns.
it was ruined the day it began. hero-shooters, or whatever you call these types of games, are just shit.
III and vegas were perfect. I miss the days when a 3rd person cover mode was the most controversial departure
It was fine when it was just a slight difference in breaching/offense/defense tools. The bulk of the game was still counterstrike with breakable walls. Once all the weirdos with dumb sci fi bullshit and women carrying shit no one would ever carry into combat is where it became funny fartnite hero shooties.
To fricking this?? Is it Marvel? Fortnite?
the old team got replaced. It was around the time Recruit got removed from comp. Game became sovlless and I quit ever since. Frick these snowflakes I want to play as generic grunts.
recruit or die was the best shit ever and it was removed cause it made troons seethe.
Fricking bicycling glasses.
They wanted to add more visual diversity to the operators as everyone looks the same in your OP image
They're a military unit. By definition they should look homogeneous.
????
It's special forces and counter terror, some are even blatant mercs
And they're all working for the same military unit.
It's a video game.
You want to be able to identify roles / threat easily.
>You want to be able to identify roles / threat easily
You're right.
Skins are an abomination as far as gameplay goes. CSGO tried to not do it, but they ended up caving to greed instead.

Their role is enemy, and the threat is they can shoot you. They all posses that threat

true but this is a video game
It would help your case if you included visuals of the "first couple of years"

They should all look the same, this isn't fricking team fortress
Unislop wanted the zoomer audience and ruined the experience in the process
They never knew what they had. They simply shit gold once and stepped in it.
>make something cool
>ruin it
Why the frick is Ubisoft ALWAYS like this?
Remember Assassins's Creed ? What it used to be ? Good time.
The face covers and gas masks are pretty badass
It's sad that zoomers have no taste
I loved recruit too, people seethed so hard about that lil guy
azami looks hot
Make half of them gay/bisexual and it's basically apex legends
>Make half of them gay/bisexual
they unironically already are
"Sens" is non-binary, "Flores" is gay and "Osa" is a transwoman (I'm not joking)
Oh. Well then now all they need is a 160$ melee weapon and it's truly apex legends.
both look incredibly lame
It's quite sad to see that Splinter Cell only lives on in shitty references in their newer games
>it's SAM FISHER
>except it's a new, new voice
>and a massive coat
>and his goggles only sit attached to his belt so you'll never see them
>so basically if we didn't say it was Sam you'd have no idea
Changes in the dev team. Bottom is made by Canadian danger hairs and troons.
Sens is gay, isn't he? they managed to give him serious gayface
"They" are non-binary.
so squeer as a $3 bill, got it
soulless
soul
>discount leone
Yeah siege is awful but Azami can punch me in the stomach and sit on my face assuming shes not a man
Recruit was the peak.
WE LOVE FORTNITE
WE LOVE FORTNITE
WE LOVE FORTNITE
FU K YOU HORE
I know what you mean, but in the first pic they all look the same.
That's not really a problem in R6S. It's not like TF2 where different classes have different weaknesses. In R6S you look for traps and shoot anyone you see.
>they all look the same
and that's what made it good.

First look like real military operator
Second look like netflix-fornite-goyslop-manchildren design
How weak are the old guys now? I remember that one of them was just "big hammer go bonk", but I imagine the newer operators have shounen tier ki beams
I'm pretty sure nothing really changed in usefulness - the ones that didn't play very well like Fuze or Castle got shafted even more, and the ones that did, like Thatcher, Thermite or Jager are still top picks.
Unexpected. That's nice
Still really strong honestly. I have everyone up until Y4 or Y5 and those guys are still getting picks. If anything it’s the new guys that feel weak and unoriginal, I didn’t feel like getting any of them, not to mention almost all of them are reusing old guns.
Doesn't for honor have non-binary pirate and Ancient egyptian black man now?
Why did they add this shit instead of mongols, huns, slavs or turks?
but we did get slavic women
Overwatch and its consequences have been a disaster for modern military shooters
How about blame TF2 first instead of Overwatch?
Just blame tfc/quake then. Better yet, wolfenstein for starting it all
You know who's the real one at fault here?
Fricking Pong, man.
The real culprit here is chess
battlefield soldiers looked dumb too ever since BF3, too many balaclavas and gas masks
I lost all hope when they added a troony
it was ruined the day it began. hero-shooters, or whatever you call these types of games, are just shit.

>Stay clear of the blast!
The originals are just as lame you zoom zoom, siege is not a rainbow six game
Impatient run'n'gun call of doodoo babby spotted
>game had a story about fighting off the white masks
>now it’s a special forces Olympic games
What military would ever agree to that bullshit?
America
Sovl
Game died when they added the window b***h that literally installs wallhacks
is this still populated on PC? kinda want to play it casually
