It has been remastered and released on modern PCs.

What you want is a new game that caters more to your low IQ dopamine-starved mind

I DO NOT WANT ANY game to receive Diablo 2 remake treatment
it's fricking garbage, it looks like path of exile (2012 indie game) and it censors whatever little there was to censor in the first place
You already have a bunch of oblivions with guns, frick off from my franchise

I just want fallout 1 to look less like a pixelated piece of shit, I get it it's part of the charm but we're in the modern era why can't we just have this?

Bethesda doesn't care about classic fallouts
I thought they made it pretty clear with their games

Does it have huge black power armor and 6-barrel armor-piercing miniguns?

Not that I'm aware of, but the gameplay should be very similar.
Isn't power armor an endgame thing anyway?

          >Isn't power armor an endgame thing anyway?
Even when I first played it and didn't know where to look, it's like in the first 1/4th of the game.
I don't play CRPGs to be sneaky or talky or whatever the frick, I play to be a mechanical monster that explode shit into bloody mess.
If game doesn't give me that, I don't play it.

Todd Howard has literally said that remakes are for gay homosexuals, and you're homsexual if you want one. Games are best experienced with the age they come with
    >But what about the updated ports of Skyrim
You don't want an updated port. If you did, you would've just downloaded the patches to run on modern rigs. You're another New Vegas homosexual that wants his game babyfied

Because the IP is owned by Bethesda, which pretty much absolutely fricking hates any title in the franchise that wasn't made by them.

The LAST thing Beth want's is to remind people how good their IP's used to be before the Great Beth Turnaround event.
It's in their interest to make sure that as few people remember these old titles as possible.

I'm entirely confident that the only reason why they did not remove them from distribution all together is the fear of backlash, they would do it in an instance otherwise.

God, it has been ages since I played the game... but from I remember - Gifted is a must have perk, priorities go to INT, PER and AGI (I remember there being a magic number of AGI you need to have enough AP, was it seven or eight?
Char is a dump stat, Luck is for gimmick runs mostly, ST should not be bellow 6.

Skill-wise: I usually start by tagging small arms, Energy weapons, and I usually also tag speech. Energy weapons are objectively best late-game weapons, small guns early to mid. You can tag something else instead of Energy, and then get an additional tag perk, but I think in general there are other more useful perks to get.
      Do not get fast shot.
things are going to be harsh early on, most random encounters even in early areas are actually calibrated for mid-game characters, so get used to running away.
Do the early game shandy sands shit, then rush for HUB, you can get the Blade Runner pistol there for some easy quest, which will carry you until you get a sniper rifle. Sniper rifle is enough for you to deal with anything up to late, LATE game shit like supermutants - by which point you should switch to plasma rifle.
In perks, prioritize additional AP (or AP cost reducing perks) and better criticals.

I honestly don't know why Bethesda hasn't remade the first two Fallouts in the new engine. It would be good financial holdover until 5
