You can already play the MP if you change 2 files and download something. Don't be lazy
As for NPCs, you'll have to wait on wildlife before you see any of them :^)
>We have been very careful to disable multiplayer in the beta branch because it's not ready. If we wanted it out there, it'd be out there. Enabling it isn't 'modding' -- its stealing / hacking code we've not yet released and invested huge amounts of money into development of, and taken significant steps to ensure it was not accessible, of which it would be impossible to circumnavigate without direct knowledge you are doing it against our wishes.

>superb survivors is so buggy that it literally hard caps your run at a few months >without NPCs the game feels pointless
guess I'm just not playing for a while until that russian gets around to releasing his mod
Boarded up the firestation, got tons of canned food, trying to figure out how to plant seeds since I got unknown seeds.
Ultimately it feels pointless, the current NPC mod is bad and no multiplayer is boring. There's just no point in playing or investing time into this game because you'll always be alone and the only "interesting" thing that can happen is a helicopter fly by that fricks up your base unless you live deep in the woods.
Expanded choppers mod adds a lot to it, military helicopters that'll shoot at you, aid drops, helicopters that shoot at zombies, helicopters that crash and you can steal shit from, etc.
It's also fun to base in highly populated areas, residential West Point is a difficult challenge
Not him, but how does that shit actually work? Every run I've done with that mod had helicopters coincidentally crash 20 feet from my base, but I still haven't seen an aid drop. Do they have special voicelines for aid? Do I have to be in the city?
I'm more of a vanillagay so I've not got a ton of experience with it, but a mate sent me screenshots showing that sometimes aid drops in the form of a bunch of heavy cardboard boxes which can be opened. The odds are it's pretty rare, though, since it had a lot of canned food and supplies.
>primary/secondary equip system for weapons and bags and everything >animations for doing everything with your left hand only >animations for limping and crutches >still can't saw off limbs to save yourself from a bite
>stuck in development hell
>no meaningful updates in years
>new 3d models look far worse than the old 2d sprites
It's got more updates in the last month than it has in ages, they're picking up the pace a bit
The rest is a matter of opinion
How about you get back to working on npcs and MP instead of shilling your game every single day?

I do like this game however. It's a shame that the developers are so fricking incompetent

>playing with infection on
How to make the game boring
>consequences are... LE BAD
>zombie scratch you once
>lol guess you'll die, game over :^)
No thanks
you realize that you can continue the save with a new character and get your equipment/base back right.
Why does this game keep getting daily threads? It's old, unfinished, obscure and unpopular. Did a popular streamer play it?
