I don’t understand how people find radahn hard with summons. Alone, sure. But if you do it where you get a shit load of warriors plus a mimic tear it should not be that hard
Not the OG Radahn. His insanely murderous final boss prime forma de homo.
He's super fast, super aggressive and shits out AoEs like crazy.
It's not a shock he beat the frick out of Malenia if Prime Radahn moves around like a DBZ character.
If you're on a high NG+ or don't wear very good armor, the spastic animations are very annoying to start with because they shit out high damage and are hard to read but once you learn them it's not that bad. Except for its ice phase. Frick that phase.
I'm still confused about what is movement and what is an attack. Probably doesn't help that the constant lightning and ice and shit kind of makes me eyes glaze over and I just stop paying attention.
All the bosses are tuned for summons in the DLC.
Not summoning just makes them moronicly annoying to fight.
Then again even with summons they're annoying to fight since they spastically aggro to you and the summon seemingly randomly.
I don't like fighting with summons, but the bosses have too much health and too few openings not to so they become an exercise in frustration.
All the DLC bosses are tuned for around 125 or above rune level and arbitrary levels of Scadutree Fragments. When people say git gud, they really only mean just get stronger so that you don't get chunked constantly like they are. It's pretty much impossible to establish a base line where everyone's playing on the same level against these bosses.
That's great. I went exploring searching for fragments to beat the second boss and just ended up irreparably fricking all the npc quest lines by breaking Miquela's seal too early because all you have to do is go to an arbitrary location that is exceedingly easy to get to, is just a generic field with nothing around and isn't gated by anything.
Frick this dlc, man.
If you approach like the halfway point of the map where the Shadow Keep and Ruins of Unte are, Miquella breaks a Great Rune randomly and all of the NPC quest lines progress to their next stage, which you might not be ready for if you didn't do everything with them yet, or if you even found them yet.
What's a good landmark to stop at if I see it to not frick this shit up?

Don't enter the Shadow Keep, which is the big fortress north of Rellana's. Don't go past the second big rope bridge north of Bonny Village. And don't go north all the way through the lake and then poison swamp area north of the Moorth Ruins which leads to Rauh Base.
The fragment shit is so stupid.
That a few upgrades take you from eating 70% of your hp per hit on 60 vigor down to like 25-30%... the frick were they thinking.
This, if you had problems with this guy you might as well just uninstall now. Rellana is twice as bad as lion, and messmer is 3 times as bad as Rellana
Messmer doesn't even fricking acknowledge summons existence
How does the RoB + mimic kino combo fare in the DLC.
>inb4 nerf
Yes, but if you have a high enough arcane stat, 2x corpse piler still makes everything bleed quickly. With bleed damage, you don't have to worry about raw numbers.
Not playing it myself but my friend's an RoBgay and he seems to be getting along fine. Mimic and just about every other summon still breaks every boss like before.
Still pretty solid. You'll see more use of it on environment enemies in legacy dungeons rather than on bosses. A lot of bosses resist fire, bleed and some are straight up immune to it. You can only get in like one charge of Corpse Piler after a boss's combo. Honestly bleed isn't that powerful in the DLC since every enemy is a damage sponge and you'll have to proc bleed multiple multiple times to kill them, and they gain bleed resist the more you do it. The stance damage and raw dmg from other weapons are more worth it for the bosses tbh.
>Spend 3 hours fighting this >Finally get it down but some of the instant lunge attacks were still bullshit >Just found the Golden Hippo
Frick this, where is that Rellana boss everyone keeps talking about, I need to fight something human or I'm going to go insane with these shitty giant animals and their camera bullshit.
If the lion was at 10 o'clock , she it at 2 o'clock
north east of the grace at the fork in the road where you took a left to enter the city the lion is in, goes across a bridge to a castle.
Thanks this boss is exactly what I've been waiting for.
how the frick did you get to the golden hippo before rellana
I went south east from the castle front grace and there was a route that just kept going. Looking at my map I even made it to the grace that's after Rellana's room.
ngl i found this boss shitton more harder than rellana, at least shes human and you can fight it quite well, the lion was just... nightmareish, and well, somehow i could stun her quite well, so that is something, the lion only got stunned whenever he wanted, beat him in about 100 tries, rellana i beat her in idk 15-20 tries... so yeah, beat her at lvl 5 scadutree fragment
So how fricked are all of the NPC quests because I had the gall to walk up to the shadow castle?
All of the NPCs vanished except for Leda and Thiollier who I progressed to sleeping next to Trina. The fatarmor merchant I apparently fricked up because I smashed a Kindred of Rot that was standing on a cliff as if there was any reason I shouldn't after seeing the rare solitary enemy from the base game bouncing around waiting to fight, but Moore is gone now so I don't know if his quest is actually ruined. Leda asked for suggestions on whether she should kill any o f the other NPCs but I didn't suggest any of them to her.
ignore the troony, this opinion is based and elden ring is trash
game peaks at godrick and starts being actively miserable to play between caelid and altus
its popularity is driven by zoomoids and morons who are mad they missed out on the DS3 hype train (a game worthy of one) and started propping up elden ring as something special so they could feel like they didn't miss out
only good thing about elden ring is reapers finally getting their own moveset
sadly from soft lost the ability somewhere after DS3 to design good boss battles (sekiro doesn't count it's not a souls game) . Their approach today is just to bloat healthpools and give dumb movesets with infinite stamina and aoe nonsense. They have not made any substantial improvements to anything in 15 years developing these games and in many ways have gone backwards.
I made a point completing BB, DS1 and DS3 and Demon Souls without summons but think now whatever tactics anyone's use to win over this piece of shit lazy gameplay design is fair game now. From soft have been rewarded for bad behaviour by normies and zoomers and that's why we can't have nice things anymore. 'Difficulty' for the sake of difficulty is NOT good gameplay.
The lock-on was fricking aids in this fight. Was impossible to fight him with it. The slam attacks that tank your FPS also suck ass.
Found his attacks fairly easy to dodge but the constant lightning and ice AOE is lame.
>kill final boss, turn remembrance into giga 72 faith req spell >SURELY this time it will be good >looks sick as frick >piss poor damage >Elden Stars 2.0
God FRICKING dammit
>enter with spiked caeatus >even with bleed Im not dealing enough dps before I've made too many mistakes >try multiple other fist weapons including the new beast claws >they work perfectly because their attacks propel my tarnished forward and often I was whiffing by a hair
Thank you not-Wolverine for these weapons because they are BASED. Frick this fight, though. Felt like there was nothing I could do during lightning and ice phases.
Killed Rellana with my boy Mimic, we stunlocked her by spamming Nihil Nihil Nihil before she even get to her second phase. I feel no shame, I spit on nuFrom boss design.
>put sign down for bayle >hosts die before even reaching phase 2
that fricking bite attack has killed so many, kino boss though, I don't usually summon at all but igon yelling at him is too good to pass.
>Romina, Saint of the Butt >an honest proper Souls boss >and then she starts shitting out the bomb butterflies
can't I have just one boss that's not trying to "haha gotcha lmao" me
>Go in a couple of tries >quickly realize that the only dangerous phase is the lighting one >play defensively on lighting phase >put the funny black fire on Milady for storm phase >kill it third try
Mage build is unironically the hardest against boss fights. I also have half the HP flasks that unga bunga homosexuals have due to needing FP ones too.
I think 2/3 of the players won't be able to kill Radahn even with summons
I don’t understand how people find radahn hard with summons. Alone, sure. But if you do it where you get a shit load of warriors plus a mimic tear it should not be that hard

this boss sucks ass tbh. I can't fight him normally hes too aggressive and don't give a room to hit him the only way to fight him is by summon.
The hitbox is messy as hell is the issue. Sometimes you’ll hit his back and nothing happens or even his face
Don't worry, the boss is copy+pasted later in the game so you get to fight it again, but this time he spawns frogs
NTA but you’re fricking with me right?
I'm still confused about what is movement and what is an attack. Probably doesn't help that the constant lightning and ice and shit kind of makes me eyes glaze over and I just stop paying attention.

really?

whoops I just saw that happen today.
What do I miss out on, Talisman of the Gay moron or something?
Like 3 boss fights and a whole area.
Which ones?
Not sure myself yet. I haven't bothered to look up the specifics because I found myself not caring when it happened.
Is that after you burn the thing after the lion?
Before. It seems to be just when you get to a certain part of the map, like I said.
There's nothing to do with them before... You don't miss boss or areas
I apparently missed getting Thiollier's Concoction. Don't know about the others.
What's a good landmark to stop at if I see it to not frick this shit up?

This is the easiest boss of the dlc lmao

I think it is easy to get backed into a corner against the lion. Avoid that at all costs
>Spend 3 hours fighting this
>Finally get it down but some of the instant lunge attacks were still bullshit
>Just found the Golden Hippo
Frick this, where is that Rellana boss everyone keeps talking about, I need to fight something human or I'm going to go insane with these shitty giant animals and their camera bullshit.
across the giant bridge, her castle is right there if you go straight
Thanks this boss is exactly what I've been waiting for.
I went south east from the castle front grace and there was a route that just kept going. Looking at my map I even made it to the grace that's after Rellana's room.
At the end of the dungeon that the hippo is guarding
If the lion was at 10 o'clock , she it at 2 o'clock
north east of the grace at the fork in the road where you took a left to enter the city the lion is in, goes across a bridge to a castle.
how the frick did you get to the golden hippo before rellana
I watched a random old dude beat it at sl1 with no skibidi tree buffs, if he can do it, anyone can do it.
i hate when they nerf bosses
Why. Because you're cringe?
>Mimic tear
>NPC summon
First tried him.
ngl i found this boss shitton more harder than rellana, at least shes human and you can fight it quite well, the lion was just... nightmareish, and well, somehow i could stun her quite well, so that is something, the lion only got stunned whenever he wanted, beat him in about 100 tries, rellana i beat her in idk 15-20 tries... so yeah, beat her at lvl 5 scadutree fragment
Summoning the npc for Rellana makes her incredibly tanky
i still have my moonveil character and bullshitted my way through with mimic tier
So how fricked are all of the NPC quests because I had the gall to walk up to the shadow castle?
All of the NPCs vanished except for Leda and Thiollier who I progressed to sleeping next to Trina. This boss already filtered a country
90% of the players are probably from china as well.
>chinks are all cheaters and they love cutting corners
>they're uptset their level 700 characters can't instakill bosses for the epic win
lmfao
spamming jump attacks with Great Stars with a mimic worked extremely well for me, beat him in two tries
I summoned when it made me start dropping frames, I don’t want to put my old ass ps4 at risk.
frick these hipsters who started complaining about the game only now.
I've been saying that its not even in the top 5 of souls games since release
You were a homosexual then and you're an even bigger homosexual now for holding onto your hatred for a game you don't play for this long.
ignore the troony, this opinion is based and elden ring is trash

>after DS3
LOL people wrlere fuming over DS3 bosses. They just want to stack poise and ignore boss attacks like DaS1.
Yes wouldn't disagree to an extent but they were less obnoxious than this dumb shit in elden ring.
You also had far fewer tools by comparison.
The lock-on was fricking aids in this fight. Was impossible to fight him with it. The slam attacks that tank your FPS also suck ass.
Found his attacks fairly easy to dodge but the constant lightning and ice AOE is lame.
Yeah I had to go full Monster Hunter with manual camera, made dodging a lot of stuff much easier.
Crab consumable helps
>kill final boss, turn remembrance into giga 72 faith req spell

>looks sick as frick

God FRICKING dammit
gayass post by the op
vidya is dead
What are you guys talking about? This boss is literally free. Beat him with my RL1 character. Only took me 3 lines of meth and 5 controllers.
>enter with spiked caeatus

It is literally Tree Spirit + Caelid Lion re-skin. Trash cheap boss by Miyazaki who need pennies.
>I beat him
oh cool
>with summons
...
I'm roleplaying as a summoner mage, so it counts.
>Caring about how other men play their games
Why are you so gay. So fricking obsessed with how other men play their games?
homosexual.
>Go in a couple of tries
>quickly realize that the only dangerous phase is the lighting one
