I played through Minish Cap a few times and enjoyed it. I later learned that it's mostly disliked which surprised me.

Minish Cap is the more complete game, and probably didn't suffer anywhere near the kind of development hell that main Zelda games seem to have had since Majora's Mask. The main Zelda team at Nintendo are now content to make LEGO games using the brand, rather than stress themselves out anymore lol.

Wind waker has its moments. Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks are boring. Same with OoA and OoS imo.
By the way, the worst one is actually Four Swords Adventures. Didn't have to be but Nintendo made playing it as intended such a gimmicky pain in the ass that it overrides any genuine merits the game has.
The worst game in the series is Majora's Mask and I'm tired of pretending it's not.

I will never like this game simply because they intentionally designed it with a completely missable permanent upgrade. Without any warning before or after you missed it. It's so fricking shitty.
The worst Zelda game is Skyward Sword. Even Nintendo acknowledges this. Minish Cap just has a really horribly designed part right after you finish the first dungeon and they lead you the wrong way and the solution is to talk to one of 3 identical npcs that all say the same dialogue except this one, and he's nowhere near where you were led.

I liked minish cap when it was new. I've not played it since then. I don't like WW, so ww gets my vote for worst game in this particular duel
