For me, it was the lack of involvement in the plot developments that bugged me about Rune Factory. Like I, as the player, lacked "agency" or whatever you want to call it. When a bridge in Portia/Sandrock goes down, they hire me to help fix it, so it's up to me to gather the materials and craft the supplies to put it back together. In Rune Factory 4 (the one I played), a bridge collapsed, and when I was taken to it to inspect it, the butler showed up and magically fixed it without any input from me.
Don't get me wrong; I fricking love RF 1-4 and adore the art and comfy world, but Sandrock is just a better video game on all metrics even if I do agree it's pretty ugly.
I don't really care about graphics all that much though

I love Portia/Sandrock, but that's not a real comparison, since Rune Factory 4 was a Switch exclusive remake of a DS game that was later ported to Steam. Whereas Pantea had the PC version of Sandrock as the lead development platform.

Do the advanced water collectors collect more water per day, or do they just have a larger tank? Because higher tiers of normal dew collectors are kind of pointless, since you're never going to collect more than twenty in a single one per day. My water tank is always empty, and between the rations and dew collectors, I barely have enough to keep the lights on for commissions. I'm thinking of converting every square of land on my property that isn't already housing something into more dew collectors.
advanced dew collectors collect twice as much dew. also do not leave dew in there during the day, it evaporates. Sometimes. ver rarely it rains. during the rain the dew collectors fill up very very fast. that's where the larger capacity comes in handy. Also work on adopting as many pets as you can since you can send them to collect water for you

What's funny is I just found out Pablo is not even romanceable. But that may be just due to him being a very minor character.

All characters are player sexual so may get hit on/confessed if you chose the flirty options
But overall it doesn't feel that pozzed, I'm as racist as people come and nothing felt out of place for me

Finally done with the game after 100 hours
The game seriously went on for too long IMO with nothing else to do near the end that I just went to sleep before noon after I'm done with the story and daily missions.
It's kind of annoying that you can't marry Nia until around 2-3 quests before the story ends, and there's even a bug where you can propose to her twice if you already proposed before doing her story mission (it reset your marriage and moved it to another date and you get wedding presents from the townspeople again), also because the final story mission happened to be on the day I was supposed to have the wedding ceremony with Nia, the day was entriely skipped by a bunch of ending cutscenes so when I regain control of my character on the next day, the wedding was cancelled and Nia was pissed, which gave me a bit of a laugh.

Because higher tiers of normal dew collectors are kind of pointless, since you're never going to collect more than twenty in a single one per day. Sometimes. ver rarely it rains. during the rain the dew collectors fill up very very fast. that's where the larger capacity comes in handy. Finally done with the game after 100 hours
The game seriously went on for too long IMO with nothing else to do near the end that I just went to sleep before noon after I'm done with the story and daily missions.
It's kind of annoying that you can't marry Nia until around 2-3 quests before the story ends, and there's even a bug where you can propose to her twice if you already proposed before doing her story mission (it reset your marriage and moved it to another date and you get wedding presents from the townspeople again), also because the final story mission happened to be on the day I was supposed to have the wedding ceremony with Nia, the day was entriely skipped by a bunch of ending cutscenes so when I regain control of my character on the next day, the wedding was cancelled and Nia was pissed, which gave me a bit of a laugh.
it's a HUGE misstep. I just married someone else and got divorced when she showed up. Characters don't seem to care
