I have beaten the main mission and just finished Broken Steel. I still have The Pitt, Operation Anchorage and Point Lookout, and I have yet to unlock at least a dozen other wasteland locations. This is after I put more than 130 hours into the game. I've never seen anything like this.
Good morning, saar!
Yeah as shitty as the main quest and combat is, it's a good Bethesda game.
>Two Main features of a video game are shit
>Game is still good
How so?
All bethesda games have going for them is the writing, and world design, they are literal visual novels.
>Mothership zeta snubbed
Feels bad
Sorry, I just forgot to list it. Going for that one too.
how do i not be scared of the big ants?
I may have liked New Vegas more, but 3 is much better when it comes to the dungeons and exploration aspects. There's lots of novel shit you can run into if you just ignore quests and go farting around in the DC ruins. It took me I don't even know how many hours until I found the Hubris Comics building, for instance. You can also stumble upon a dozen or so raiders battling a mutant behemoth somewhere in the ruins.
So would you guys recommend the game of the year edition or regular fallout 3?
I didn't really care for Mothership Zeta and Operation Anchorage was just okay, but it's definitely worth it for the other DLCs. Point Lookout was my favorite, but most anons on here probably would prefer the Pitt. Also, the game's not complete without Broken Steel. Great expansions, you should go for it.
Broken steel so the post game dlc, right? Does my guy survive the radiation room or would he need a companion that is immune to radiation to do broken steel? Also does 3 have the meltdown and jury rig perks?
IIRC you just need the DLC to survive and wake up 3 days later like Jesus
I see, thanks
Well, shittt. Does fallout 3 allow cannibalism?
Your character will live either way, but the game stills scolds you for sending in a companion which is really gay
>Also does 3 have the meltdown and jury rig perks?
nope
GOTY for sure if on PC. Vanilla is still outdated from the GFWL days from what I remember.
Are you RP walking everywhere or what?
I never trust anyone’s measurement of how long or short a game is
reviewers of DD2 were saying it was a 30 hour game and it took me 90+ hours to beat because I was actually exploring and questing while homosexuals who make these time estimates are just racing to the finish line
I don’t play games to beat them, I play to enjoy
if that doesn’t make sense to you, honestly you’re gaming wrong
Maybe he’s just enjoying the game?
Be happy that zoomers realize how good we used to have it.
It's not that big of a game, play more than 5 games.
This game is terrible, get some standards.
Can you side with the enclave in fallout 3 and if so how does that affect broken steel?

If I want to be a Fallout 1 chad, what mods to I get for it?
Fixt or if you have F2 as well then Et Tu.
For F2 itself your first playthrough should be the Unofficial Patch then the Restoration Project after that.
The one that let's you smash 16 yo tomboy pussy.
i actually like 3 more than NV
idk why, it just feels more gritty and apocalyptic
>actual time travellers from 2008 posting on Ganker
Stay there, you don't know how good you have it
Unironically this
Fallout 3 was really well designed from that perspective
If you just do the main quest you really only explore the bottom right quarter of the map, DC, plus some other locations in the wasteland
First time I played I just did the main quest and put it down not realizing when I came back to it a bit later how much of the world I still had to explore
