Music licensing can cause legal issues, so it's understandable that R* would remove them as well as understandable why they'd sue anyone trying to undo that on a mass scale. It's understandable, but I would never defend it. It goes to demonstrate that using licensed IPs in your game is extremely moronic with absolutely zero concern for long term preservation.
Nintendo isn't removing content from their games, but going after rom sites is also indefensible when all other companies have long thrown in the towel in the fight against emulation.
I don't see the point unless they fix the 30fps cap without running into physics problems and adding proper analog controls for pc that enable slow cruising.
