>$60 for a far more fluid and responsive experience that is not only portable, but comes with a rad side-mode with a ton of unique assets and mechanics
3D world is already a great game as-is, this is absolutely the definitive version of the game. The added movement speed across the board really makes it worth the re-visit
Speaking as someone who actually played the Wii U version it actually makes things a lot harder, the game wasn't built for the speed it plays at currently and it's very easy to overshoot your jump
>the game wasn't built for the speed it plays at currently
The walking speed in the Switch version is the same as the running speed in the Wii U version
Wait they buffed the speed? Won't that make a bunch of jumps just easier?
>Wait they buffed the speed? Won't that make a bunch of jumps just easier?
Yes it trivializes the game, levels like the one where you chase the flagpole are a brokenly easy joke in the Switch version

have a nice day tendie drone
It's so boring and speeding up mario's movement doesn't syncc well with the level design. The autoscrollers are still too slow. And I rather just play the WiiU port at a higher framerate. It's 200cc mode all over again.
Sorry, but that game is $60 dollars and that is too expensive for me.
How do you afford internet
Because i can afford internet.
Its $45 used many places
Keep begging and your mom will buy it.
Go full Jolly Roger and make NinAIDS die by hunger, one ROM and ISO per day.
Did no one else play this or something? This is the future of Mario. Did I need to start my thread with a Twitter image to make it appealing?
I emulated it for Bowser's Fury, it was okay
>$60 for a 2 hour DLC
And yet it was better than any other 2021 game

Huh. Can't say anything since I haven't played the switch one but guess they had some idea behind it.

For me it was
>$60 for higher speed
And it was worth it.
yeah I'm playing through it right now and it's pretty fun. it has the soul that NSMBUD completely lacks
Wii U port, the Switch legacy.
What are some mandatory switch games I should get I only have a few games on it like famicom detective club and Tetris 99

Bowser's Fury is worth it
Worth what? Playing the regular game? No. That's why it's standalone. It's open-world garbage that has no reason to be open world.
It has more reason to be open world than most.
