Infinite wealth spends almost half the game feeding you kiryu member berries from yakuza 0-6, if you havent played them you'd have an awful experience.

rebirth is a good game, better than remake, XV and arguably XVI. Its' issue lies in the fact that it's part 2 of a trilogy (barely) marketed mostly towards nostalgic boomers.

My biggest worry is that they somehow managed to not change it's name, which clearly was a working title lmfao. I don't doubt the core gameplay is cool but is it as cool as Unicorn Overlord or similar games? Probably not.

Best jrpg to come out in the past 5 years is probably Octopath Traveler 2 though, cannot recommend it enough.
man I LOVED Octopath Traveler 2 for about maybe 20-30 hours but by the time I reached last act I couldn't be fricked to care about the game anymore. I also think the stories not being dynamically intertwined made majority of the bosses as well as the stories themselves after the first couple last bosses become extremely unbalanced and just not very fun. I beat the last boss on second try and instantly uninstalled the game. Felt like a solid 9/10 for the first half but the longer it went on the cracks started to show and ended up with a farily lukewarm 7/10.
It was the contrary to me. It started slow and it was kinda boring 10 hours in but once you start discovering new places, people, seeing where the stories go to (specially throne one), the game becomes fantastic
fantastic music as well. The final boss should be a standard when it comes to JRPGs. Epic music, hard battle and EVERYONE fights.
