I didn't play Ranpa because it's too ridiculous.
I want to play Sherlockge. I can't take it easy when the maid turns out to be the hegemonic ruler of the world or something

Would it be good if it was about relatively normal people? at least people pretending to be normal

AA1-4 and V3-1 should be in S. DR2-2 should also probably move up a tier

Why are zoomers obsessed with tier lists?

It's not tier lists, per se. But rather the validation of their tastes. Natural progression of a generation taught to be narcissistic poseurs

This is a pretty good list. I think 3-5 is a bit overrated and I think DGS-2 sucks ass but mostly OP was not a homosexual

it doesn't joke about the case being bad, it makes fun of you for being mad

V3-4 is great. Using video game logic to solve the mystery is fun and Kokichi going gigaheel and tormenting Gonta wade it a compelling spin on 2-5's emotional climax

I feel like i could v3-4 better but i also feel like its probably the most obvious case in the entire series

V3-3 was so obvious the twist was there was no twist and it was the creepy guy who obviously did it

maybe during the trial, but i felt like v3-4 was special in that it was obvious while it was happening

There isn't anything wrong with a case not being hard to figure out if the way the characters go about it is entertaining. Not to defend V3-3, it sucks, but it really depends just how obvious it is and if it's well written despite that fact.
V3-4 is obvious because they tell you who the culprit is a 3rd of the way through. The crux of that case is proving to everyone else (who doesn't believe it's possible) how it went down. It's a pretty important case for Shuichi's character, turning a full 180 from how he was back in V3-1.

        >V3-4 is great
You spend half of the trial figuring out the wrap around, it's ridiculous.

This is just an issue in V3 in general. I can tolerate it but in most cases it spends too long making sure the player gets an idea. While it's runtime isn't as bloated with inconsequential nonsense like 2 it could stand to be a lot fricking shorter.
That being said people don't get the point of V3-6 despite it saying verbatim that "the pain in our hearts is real" and things like it for like 2 hours, so maybe it's justified.
