the fact that its almost impossible to distinguish the combat in the game, ffxv, and dmc from eachother except for 1 or 2 abilities tells me that dmc is a shit game. the character models are also heavily recycled xiv models

FF15 is the most corporate and soulless mostly because they wasted too much money and needed to make a profit.
A lot of the original content had to be cut because they needed to appeal to more people.
The only thing it really did better was almost having a script with characterization. Almost.
