I just dropped BG3

Act 3 was boring me. Too much stuff going on that was mostly shallow. Did any other anons get disappointed by Act 3? I was loving 1 and 2.

I stopped at the end of act 2 due to burnout. I like when games have acts or chapters because it makes them feel like a series that I can put down and pick up again later.

Might as well finish it if you already played long enough to get to act 3 there's some great boss fights like Raphael in it

Nah, I love act 3. It's fricking amazing and full of stuff to do. Hopefully the bug fixes and restored content will make it even better.
    I'd rate it as:
    >Act 1
10/10 - Game of the Century Tier
    >Act 2
10/10 - Game of the Century Tier
    >Act 3
9/10 - Game of the Decade Tier

    It's kino

for over 150gb this game has very little going for it

Disk footprint is a good indicator of what's not worth downloading. Anything over 20gb is almost universally suspect.

The only games over 20 gig I don't mind downloading are LEGO games, because I know they'll actually feel like 20+ gigs of content. I'm very reluctant with most other games.

This is extremely true, I wonder whats the cause/

A crude take, but generally it's bloat, inefficiency and general lack of care for optimisation by the developer. I see the same happen to a lot of long-term games/live-service where they start-out relatively small but everything is well-done, but more and more the game becomes "soulless" but the space required is 5-10x as large but an arguably overall worse product.

What does this vaguepost mean in real observable terms.

That he's an ADHD zoomer that hates having to think for himself. Act 3 is pretty great and the only people I've seen complaining about its is because the game drops the handholding completely and expects you to discover shit on your own.

the game drops the urgency and turns into a joke. that's the issue. the side content in the city is ok but it doesnt fit the overall plot at all.

      The frick lol
what I mean is all these subquests and character quests and most npcs are the most shallow shit ever. Too much shallow content.

the animal talking and dead talking was also shallow. nothing good ever came from it.

You can skip parts of the murder quest by resurrecting the victims.
You can negotiate with the Tressym.

I straight up dropped it at the end of Act 2
The cringe Lesbian shit was unbearable and infuriating.

Imagine you save some dumb fricking b***h from some hell hole and she treats you like an ass and then proceed to be a turbo lesbian dyke with that other b***h who has also been an ass.

I regretted so much not slaughtering that b***h jaheira and the village at that point

Consider the following - you can sell her into slavery in Act 3.

where did you morons get this shilling point?
act 3 is where all the previous 80 hours of quests come together.
you get payoffs for every decision you made during act 1 and 2... is this the new cope after all the previous have failed or what?

A lot of players abhor consequences to their actions--especially when it isn't immediate.

yeah like i found one of the tieflings i helped in the grove and then rescued from moonrise tower prison. she was in a tavern, said hi and sold me 2 lockpicks and a piece of bread. that was the reactivity

The content in act 3 is fine. The fricking bugs are another thing. I have the same quest running twice. I started a quest with an NPC then I later got sent to her by another NPC about the same stuff and she's talking to me like we've never met - then the quest just reset. I also don't have the top left corner pop ups happening anymore and all the dialog doesn't correctly play. They will be saying there voice lines and it just auto cuts to the next line as if I hit the space bar mid sentence. I also got floating NPC's and I had an enemy die, rag doll then clip into a door then go flying around like a bugged skyrim dragon.

    >upper city cut
    >Gortash and Orin fights no where near the level of Khemric
    >not enough legendary weapons / gear after level 12
    >all you do is go building to building and see if there is a giant cavern or dungeon to explore.
    >6 turn rescue mission is designed by a moron
    >camera is a piece of shit
    >half the cutscenes do not work if you start a convo wild shaped into a owlbear. your bear ass is pressed against the screen
    >so far from testing, Sharpshooter, PAM, and elemental adept do not work
    >Ansur fight design is moronic. you either need circe of invuln or burst the boss down
    >no storyline consequence at all if you choose the emperor or orpheus. orpheus just takes the emperor's lines and says the same exact shit
    >raphael is a gay
    >the house with 30 invisible ghosts
    >non lethal doesnt work. literally can't save the pirate qt
    >unstoppable was bugged on enemies where it never dropped. was fixed recently even when this was a known issue for a whole year in EA

Couldn't get past the thiefling and goblin interactions knowing that siding with the druids would cut me out of most content.
I really hated what they did with the setting. It's like almost exactly what I hate with modern post 2010 fantasy.
