It is, it is good exactly because it iS not a boomer shooter and has modern FPS mechanics and story driven gameplay that makes it enjoyable opposed to mindless - rush a horde of soulles dumb morons -collect ammo from corpse - boomershit. Half Life is first game to make FPS genre actually enjoyable.
