If we get a Unova Legends game, what should the starter trio be?
>Gen 5 starters because they'd be catchable in the wild like the Gen 4 starters were in Arceus
>No Gen 9 starters because they're too new, same reason Arceus didn't have any Gen 8 starters
>If the final forms get regional variants like the Hisui starters, what type would you like them to be?
Don’t care, I didn’t like gen5 starters anyway.
Personally, it would be Sobble, Fennekin, and Turtwig
Grass/Fairy, Fire/Poison, Water/Ground
This pic shows Gen 4 was the last Gen with good starter designs. They went way cartoony with them afterwards
>the last Gen with good starter designs.
(X)
I kind of agree in an overall term. I do like indivual starts from each gen but 4 was probably the last time they were all good.
Holy frick the gen 8 starters stick out like a sore thumb
Dreamworld art sucks
Thematically, Empoleon (a western emperor) and Chesnaught (a western knight) would work well.
Not sure which fire type. Maybe Blaziken with a bald eagle-esque form?
These are both dogshit, knights are not american europe is not america.
Unova is just a mishmash of different cultures, not even exclusively western.
Unova is Japan with random french shit added in, but the starters all being European is still moronic.
>Chesnaught Grass/Steel
The european colonizer
>Blaziken Fire/Ground
The native american and
>Inteleon Water/Ghost
The western bandit
There you go here's your trio
Jesus Christ the Gen 9 starters are unholy abominations
charma fer, chespin and poplio for dragon, knight and princess esthetic.
also it’s gonna be funny to see both end of the spectrum seethe (borts get mad that the kanto mon Charmander is the starter of a game set in unova, meanwhile genwunner get mad that the regional form of zard isn’t a total shitmon like the original)
Would a regional charizard really make people mad?
Considering how many people get angry when a regional form is better or simply fit a different and more popular niche than its original counterpart, yes they will. Plus you have those that will say " the design is ruined" because it’s not similar enough/ too similar to the og design
>Regional charizard form
>Actually gets to be Fire/Dragon type
yes
Well damn we need one ASAP
Hopefully like
Anything would make anyone mad, and I don't care.
I just like seeing the old become new again.
I think that works better for a Legends Galar.
Why are there so many clowns who think there's going to be a Legends Unova when it's very obviously going to be Legends Celebi?
>Grass/Fairy Meganium
>Fire/Dark Delphox or Fire/Psychic Blaziken
>Water/Ghost Inteleon
Holy hell I was thinking of that too!
1 from the first three gens.
I'd do
Outlaw Chesnaught (Grass/Poison)
Before the introduction of the Dark type, the defacto "evil" type was Poison.
Also something about poisoning a water hole.
Sheriff Blaziken (Fire/Steel)
The sheriff's badge, and guns.
Gunslinger Inteleon (Water/Electric)
Lightning fast reflexes, idk.
I just really want to give this Pokemon another shot, as it is, I'm not a fan.
assuming in this particular hypothetical that legends unova would end up taking heavy old west inspiration (even though the game takes place in the easternmost part of the US, frick you)
>Grass/Ground Chesnaught resembling a mix between a cactus and a steam train
>Fire/Flying Blaziken resembling a roadrunner with native american elements
>Water/Dark Inteleon (ick) with a more prominent finger gun looking like a blend of a bandit and a cowboy
>If we get a Unova Legends game
We have one already.
>gunslinger inteleon (water/fighting, put a cowboy hat on it)
>indigenous sceptile (grass/psychic, totem pole tail)
>railworker delphox (fire/steel, the stick becomes some tool for the railroad)
fire-type really wanted to be incineroar but I wanted to avoid g2/g7 so other gens could get a shot. i don't think they'd ever do g1 starters either unless they did them all at once.
Fire/Rock Charizard, Water/Fighting Feraligatr, Grass/Flying Torterra.
Charizard gets a signature attack that spreads rocks and burns on switch in.
Feraligatr gets an ability that's Sheer Force + Strong Jaw with a generic multi hit biting attack with no secondary effect.
Torterra has a new signature attack that's basically a physical version of weather ball and it has a little bird bro in it's tree, and is a flying sea turtle. Ability would be Wind Power that makes it immune to flying type attacks.
>abilities
>in a legend game
you fricking moron
>they won't ever add abilities in a Legends title because I said so
calm down pattern sperg
if they don't just keep feraligatr with sheer force and torterra with wind power then, charizard just gets drought.
>t-they’ll will totally remove what make legends special an make the next one more similar to the normal pokemon games goys
Im beginning to to think that most plagay don’t even like the game they shill 24/7
PLA is bare bines but it did a lot of good things like making battles faster via styles and status changes. Adding abilities to that wouldn't ruin what good is already there.
the lack of abilities was absolutely not the thing people like PLA for you clown. just sounds like you're reaching for excuses to seethe
if adding abilities ruins the game that badly in gamefreak's eyes they could always just rework how the system operates in legends, like giving pokemon access to more than one ability at a time or some shit.
>implying they wouldn’t get abilities once they entire a PvP game ans CHARIZARD’s ability won’t be the most broken
you fricking moron
Poplio becomes Poison (Horror based Mermaid)
Torchic becomes Fairy (Pretty Hen)
Chespin becomes Dark (Black knight)
Fennekin is the best choice for a fire starter.
>america has 2 different desert foxes the kit and swift
>canids trace their origin back to the US
Not using fennekin is a complete missed opportunity.
Rice farmer Greninja Water/Grass
Giant Salamander Charizard Fire/Water
Yokai Meowscaroda Grass/Fire
