why is the alt larp right chud wearing a gomunism hat?
I can't decide which game out of this and The Last of Us 2 makes Ganker more DEFCON 1 500 kiloton nuclear assmad
Either way, I like both games
you have shit taste
>seeking consensus approval
Wow what a gay
you

taste
Maybe, but I have fun and I'll continue to do so 😉
I
don't
care
I need a shop of this where she’s rubbing her hands
I like to run around and explore more than I like dungeons, stay mad
There's nothing to find in BOTW, just the same copypasted camps and weapons.
Sounds like you didn't find it :/
No need to blame the game because you're either bad at exploration or have severe memory issues.
Let's post different things we found in the game.
I found a girl that wanted to kill me because I stepped on her flowers.
Sheep huddle together under trees during lightening storms.
GOTY
Nintendo have truly revolutionized video games as we know them. I can't wait to see what kind of gameplay opportunities this will present.
Its not Nintendo's fault their game is more immersive than your favourite game. Screech more.
I found a cursed statue that let me make a demonic pact with it and it was a clever way to change abilities you might have assigned wrong mid game.
I was the cupid of a e-girl fish and an adult man, helping their letters reach each other and seeing they meet for the first time.
I attended a fricking wedding of a couple I put together, celebrated by the priest I found, in the city I helped build.
A handful of small quests doesn't change the fact that BOTW is the poster boy for overdone big open worlds with barely any content and 90% copypasta and assetflips.
>b-b-but it doesn't count!
The world is full of life and different people with different stories, places to find and things to try, yet you're grasping that Ganon's evil army is not diverse enough as if you're someone with pronoun bio on Twitter complaining about a Netflix series.
It's not even on par with Skyrim sadly, that's why it fell out of favor after the first year, especially after it got emulated and most people saw it for what it was.
If it's out of favor, why are you still b***hing about it?
Of course it's not on par with Skyrim, Skyrim is not a puzzle game and those who emulated because of the hype comparing it with Skyrim turned it down as soon as they noticed it wasn't a full fledged RPG.
>that's why it fell out of favor after the first year
Delusional as frick, lmao. Is that why there are daily threads after 5 years and people are literally shitting themselves over the sequel getting no coverage?
A handful of shitposting doesn't change:
>great traversal mechanics
>that actually synergize well with the world design ensuring that "see that mountain? you can climb it" isn't just a gimmick but serves a gameplay purpose aka observing your surroundings and reaching your destination faster by gliding
>consequently the only open world game of that scale that can be navigated entirely by sight and gets rid of the need to constantly check your minimap and follow quest markers and pathfinding trails
>even cartography is part of the gameplay as you mark your points of interest instead of the game spoonfeeding activities to you
>climbing itself is also a far more involving activity than in other similar games as you need to choose your route, check for areas of respite and manage your stamina
>map design is incredible, with distinct points of interest of varying scale visible from everywhere and some occasionally hidden to mess with your expectations
>the art and sound direction is legitimately the best l've seen despite the archaic hardware, the lighting, the grass, the sounds of animals and wind, it perfectly evokes the feeling of a trek in the wilderness, making it the first game to accurately adapt impressionism to this media
>puzzle solving recontextualized to be part of the overworld with kass riddles, natural minidungeons like eventide island or typhlo ruins, or large scale spatial awareness trials like the eighth heroine or the three lanayru trees shrine quest
>fantastic physics system opening the door to the kind of emergent gameplay you see in the best immersive sims, you can build a flying machine with magnesis or soar through the map riding a log or a boulder like tao pai pai or baron munchausen
>epic action setpieces where you lead the charge against giant mechanical beasts while juggling multiple mechanics at the same time
>genuinely surprising discoveries of unexplained events and creatures that give the world an eerie, wondrous atmosphere
What a laughable nonsense image. You conveniently ignore the gulf in AI, animation and behavioural routines exhibited in BotW.
You can literally sit on a hilltop and watch a Bokoblin go about his daily routine.
He will wake up, scout the horizon, hunt for food, run from danger, eat food, dance around the campfire and settle back down to sleep.
This is all without you even interacting with them. This is every enemy in the game. And this doesn't even include the vast amount of interactive wildlife which DOES NOT EXIST in other Zelda games.
Seek help lmao you've been malding for SIX YEARS.
Wow, I can watch an enemy wander around and perform tasks. Reminds me of Elder Scrolls twenty years ago. How exactly does that make a better game? Frick Nintendo for ruining one of my favorite series by falling for the open world meme.
There are more quests and things to find in BotW than every prior Zelda game combined.
I really hope they bring back more classic enemies for the sequel
I wore women's clothes to see thirsty women in a classroom getting lessons of how to date a man.
And yet it's still more fun than most other games. Wonder why?
Because you’re a brainless fanboy with autism?
It's fine, nothing special.
Stop playing games, homosexual. You're contaminating the whole playerbase.
I've got no issue with people enjoying baby games like Zelda. It's when they call it the greateat game of all time that makes me laugh
Reminder that there are daily BotW asshurt threads for over 5 years now. Truly the gift that keeps giving.
>having extremist opinions over a video game
I guess the mentally ill really cling to anything these days.
It's a good game and you will never be a woman
Just play the better Zelda game.
Have the seethers given up on Elden Ring already?
Once they were informed it's just dork souls 4 with a big map and that there was nothing to actually do in the game except fight enemies, their honeymoon phase ended.
I don't think about you at all.jpg
5 years
Not only did I enjoy it, I think it's downright fantastic and one of the best open world games ever made, one of the few games to actually succeed at an open world and make it feel valid.
What are you going to do about it huh!? huh!?
I got bored around when I finished 2 divine beasts and 40-50 shrines.
Neat engine and tech, hopefully they actually use it to make a good game next time.
Stuff that needs to be fixed:
-unlimited (and potentially full) heals in the form of cooked foods, this needs an inventory limit, just like swords
-heals being instant from a pause menu in an action game
-3 melee weapon move sets; it's just lazy that the game has tons of weapons and they behave identically
-5 enemies + their reskins being 95% of the combat in the game
-the 20+ identical combat shrines, put some fricking different enemies there
-make more bosses with complex move sets like the Lyonel, it's literally the only enemy/mini-boss on the game that doesn't feel phoned in
-more runes/items you get throughout the game, not just the 4 main ones at the start, this is the reason why the game falls flat after the plateau
-don't make the world this big if 70% of it will be empty and copypasta
-less 1 minute 1 step puzzle shrines and more 3 step multi puzzle shrines, I'd honestly rather have 50 good, long, meaningful shrines, than 120 ones where 80 are mediocre to awful
-proper, full length dungeons for the main quest
Overall 6/10
Your take on the unlimited healing and prefering bigger puzzles are a valid criticism. But I really doubt you saw 20+ identical combat shrines if you only played 40-50 of them. And you get new powers by upgrading the runes and completing Divine Beasts, they all replace a lot of old classic items by doing the same thing with less slots. And of course
>don't make the world this big if 70% of it will be empty and copypasta
This is just wrong. Like, completely wrong. It's not even an opinion. It's just factualy wrong. So stop spreading lies on the internet.
>seriously engaging some who obviously suffers from depression and is thus unable to enjoy things that dont constantly overload their defect dopamine receptors with stimuli
I didn't see all 20, but I did read up on the wiki about what most of the shrines contain so I didn't bail on the game prematurely.
I hope Ganondorf stays undead for the entirety of BotW2
agreed
It's the only good open world game
Also the only good Zelda
TP and SS were better.
Be me, legally moronic, challenged by my big brother to finish the game, he agrees but he won't give me any hints.
Accidentally find out way to stasis launch myself way before I know how to cook. Which might have been due to a glitch of the old man not loading.
I enjoyed my time with the game, but I wont ever touch it again unless my big bother is there to shittalk with me.
Did I enjoy the game? Idunno, I guess.
Elden Ring caused Nintendo to delay BotW2 so they could create a whole new console just to make a BotW2 not look like an April fool’s joke
I wonder if BotW2 will borrow anything from ER
it already has
delays
I'm started playing the game a little while, and it's not even that bad. What is wrong with you people?
It's just some anon posting multiple daily threads about he hates it. Understandable because they usually can make it to 300 or more posts before archive.
It’s called actually playing the game and getting your own perspective on it
