Nioh is like sekiro's moronic twin brother. It's close to being a good game, but it's full of absolute bullshit and it's often more stamina management than combat. It actively punishes for trying to play in a way that's fun.

I got memed into completing the first one and it was extremely mediocre. Just going between one uninspired Japanese village to the next. heard the 2nd one is better but I never bothered

I beat it. I think it's fun enough regardless, I just recognize it for what it is. Maybe Nioh 2 is a lot better, I dunno, but Nioh has issues.

Yes Nioh is fun if you like fast combat, diablo style loot and new shit being unlocked on higher difficulties.
