You know after XB1 and 2 I wondered what kind of cucking would happen in this game because it's almost like a series standard
Didn't expect it to be like this
I remember threads before it launched people were wondering who was going to get cucked. Some anons actually said Mio lmao. Little did we know it was Noah just cucking himself
>Mio loving another me? >No, I don't want that! >I want her to love me and no one else for the rest of her life. >Even after I die, I want to be at the forefront of her thoughts for a while! Ten terms at least!
>look above the door to Nia's room >see Dromarch's severed mounted above the doorway I mean it's probably just a dummy replica but seeing it hung up like that gave me a start.
She's a flesheater. There's a sidequest about this in Colony Lambda. There's a guy trying to categorize Aionios' races based on physical characteristics, and it's explained that Agnians with crystals are generally many times stronger than soft-skinned individuals with no crystals. Machina are similar, but still weaker than Blades.
It's interesting that Noah is capable of going toe to toe with her
Although when Noah is not holding back he's a literal genocide engine, and he only stops holding back in chapter 6
All Kelves soldiers wear power ring armor to let them go toe to toe with the strongest blade agnians, that's probably why Kelves seems so dominate almost all their skirmishes.
You can see that different soldiers wear different amount of power armor elements and Noah has basically jack shit beyond a power element on his waist and boots. The shit he and N showcase goes way beyond of what Mio is capable of. N is just standing there deflecting bullets from several battleships at once.
He is not swinging that sword all the time for nothing because he's literally Jin 2.0.

We know what the tech does, but don't know how the tech works. The number of glowing rings might not indicate the total power output, it's just conjecture.

Placement being important is also conjecture. Like I said, we don't know how it works. It may be that a single ring emits a forcefield around people that augments their strength. Been a while since I played Future connected, but could Shulk use monado arts with his new replica?
Anonymous
Yes, the only art he couldn’t use was Enchant because there was no point to it.

Well there you go. Shulk managed to cast party wide buffs using ether particles emitted from a single ring on his Replica sword, and he had a few rings on his outfit, too, probably constantly buffing him with strength/speed/defense artes. Shulk was a fricking genius, and he had the help of Milenia old mechon scientists. What boggles the mind is Agnus tech. Mor Ardain was the most technologically advanced society and they were nowhere close to designing sleek Agnus lenvises. It feels like Tora and other Nopon might have reversed engineered the tech from the base of the world tree, there was no shortage of mechs to study.
Mio is 25% flesh eater. Her gimmick seem to be extreme speed and in that cutscene she is mid air when she delivers the punch
So she literally went super fast from anger
Guys, I'm at chapter 1. I just started playing because I was busy but now that I have more free time I want to play as much as possible.
Is there a new game plus? If so, is there a lot of cool stuff to do like in Xenoblade 2? Should I bother doing sidequests now or leave them for later like in Xeno 2? Should I rush through the story?
>there is NG+, but it doesn't have nearly as much content as XB2's NG+, although that might be rectified in future updates. most of xenoblade 2's NG+ features were absent at launch as well. there is a somewhat substantial postgame, however >you will probably be overleveled if you do sidequests, but doing them and getting colony affinity up is necessary for several hero ascension quests. most heroes have sidequests associated with unlocking them, so prioritize those >the game is very long, so break up story and sidequests however you want
feel like I don't fully understand chain attacks, or there's some meta that I'm unaware of with it.
interlink lv3 chain attack >only 2 orders >likely only able to get a few attacks in before hitting 100% >damage % is boosted
normal chain attack >4 potential orders >can get 10+ attacks before ending the chain >if you're lucky you can end with an interlink order
It feels like the lv3 interlink chain attack kinda sucks? Or rather, it's guaranteed damage but with a lower ceiling than regular chain attacks, right?
Normal chain attacks are better than the interlink chain attack once you understand how to maximize the system, you are 100% correct. With the right hero setup you can easily get a 5 order chain attack that caps at 13x damage multiplier.
alright, glad to know I at least understand the mechanics. Any tips for getting good chain attacks? Any way to guarantee the orders you want pop up when you want or is that 100% RNG? Also, never understood why the optional hero attacks are always last in the chain, yet they provide what look like crazy benefits for attacks done LATER in the chain, but they are the final attacker so I never get the benefit from them since their attack basically ends the chain.
A lot of it is RNG, including when the hero order shows up, if you're unlucky it might not appear at all. Never pick two characters that interlink until the last order, otherwise you'll get the oroborous order early and won't maximize your damage. Always pick the hero order when it first shows up (unless it's Fiona's in the first round), since it isn't guaranteed to appear again.
>Any way to guarantee the orders you want pop up when you want or is that 100% RNG?
RNG, so always take the free hero order as soon as it pops up.
>Any tips for getting good chain attacks?
You want your best attackers to be active in the final round with the biggest damage multiplier, which isn't a problem once you unlock oroboros orders. A smash combo seems like one of the best ways to end a chain but you don't get smash as a regular art until chapter 5.
Orders are random, you can get hero orders at any point, including the very first. Noah's order looks better than Taion and Eunie's at a glance, but their effects can lower enemy defense into the negatives for higher damage. Just remember the tip the game gives you about what each role does in a chain attack and you should be fine.
>Or rather, it's guaranteed damage but with a lower ceiling than regular chain attacks
That's the way I use them anyways, when you just want big damage cutting into something. Remember to spam Ourobous arts before starting the chain attack since it splits you up once it finishes.
Ouroboros stuff is good depending on your set up
For instance, if you stack tons of buffs on each one (since the whole party comes back), then you're good.
The benefit of Ouroboros stuff is that you can reliably use every party member
>reliably use every party member >start interlink lv3 chain >first attack does 75+ % >next attack hits 100% >first order fires off >first attack does over 100% >final order fires off
???? am I doing this wrong or what
what determines who you start with, or rather the order for your party in general when it comes to chain attacks? Is it noah, mio, eunie, taion, lanz, sena, in that order no matter what for the entire game? So the only way to affect chain attack order is by the class that each of those characters are, since their order never changes?
Anon, please tell me you aren't just clicking left to right for each character. You DO know you can choose who to go next in any order, right?

lmao, no I don't. I just finished chapter 4 as well. Welp, that's what I get for breezing through the beginning hours of the game. In all fairness, this game is nothing if not tutorial heaven. Will frick around with chain attacks next time I play.
the options you are presented with when you start a chain are random but ive never seen it not present one of each role at least.
also note that Hero characters have their own bonuses and don't follow the attacker/healer/defender rules in chains. i've accidentally ended a few chains because i forgot that hero healers can go over 100%
Your conclusion is mostly correct, but the logic is missing some info
Nirmal chain attacks can go to 5 orders total. 3 main party, one Hero, one Ouroboros, but to do that you have to finish an interlink pair specifically on round 4.
To extend your chain, you have to reactivate characters. You get a base of one reactivation when you hit 100%, and a bonus 1/2 reactivations for reaching 150/200%. You cna also het reactiavtions and TP boosts from some heroes.
The main way to manage TP is through role bonuses. Attackers get 1.25x TP if they go first, Healers will automatically stop at 99% if they go over, and Defenders will always reactivate the highest TP character available. Heroes all have their own bonuses.
What order you get is luck based, but you always want to be working with that luck to het maximum TP and keep as many characters as possible active for the next round. The one exception to this is if you are on round 4 and get an Ouroboros Order, because that will reactivate everyone anyway.
Some notable Hero effects are (spoilers I guess) >Valdi gets +50 TP when used if attacking a machine (this can stack between rounds, and will, quickly) >Teach gives other characters a small TP boosts when used, (again, can stack if used well) >Ashera will automatically get 200% if used as the finisher, meaning 3 free reactivations >Riku/Manana will give whoever goes next a 1.25x TP multiplier
Getting to the end of Chapter 4 and hearing Noah say Melia kind of threw me for a loop. I was so sure this game took place in some sort of cloned pocket dimension. But hearing the name itself kind of unsettled me
I got the same feeling hearing them say Uraya for the first time, followed by going in and seeing the ruins of the great stairway. Before that it was just to the effect of >oh I guess that looks like the Bionis leg all right
Like there were recognizable landmarks but they didn't hold much significance.
Yeah
Suspicion vs confirmation is heavy.
I also started to think that maybe there was more to it after they called Uraya by its name. I also feel like the game was going for that sort of weighty hit with the Queen's name. They hadn't called her by it at any point before and they relegate that single word to its own subtitle line so as to not have people read it before it's heard.
Why is Liberation Arrow's animation so dumb? Juniper just does a really slow 360 before firing a single arrow. There's nothing unique about that, it's basically just an auto attack with extra steps.
I'm in Chapter 7. Question about two Heroes. Ethel just joined me again and both her and Cammuravi got their class rank 20 limit broken. Are these two not going to get Hero quests of their own anymore?
it's literally just one doomposting schizo who hates xenoblade and comes in to say how much better XCX is than everything
he did the same thing with XB2
So outside of this image, is there any additional proof that those three children are actually Rex's? What if it's a cuck situation and he's JUST-ing for three kids that aren't his?
Well, he did ask Nia if she wanted to rest her head on his lap that one time...
Could you imagine? Reveal in the DLC that Mio's bloodline traces back to Torna. Twist reveal that it's not actually through Addam's royal lineage and Rex, but because Nia fricked Zeke and took his usurper line jizz when she was feeling lonely one time.
There’s absolutely no way Pyra/Mythra would go with anyone else considering One Last You is them pretty much begging Klaus to have a chance with Rex. With Nia maybe it’s someone else’s kid but I’m not seeing it honestly.
>What if it's a cuck situation and he's JUST-ing for three kids that aren't his?
Why would that be the situation? There's no reason to suspect that in any shape or form
Yes anon. Rex is such a giga chad who sleeps with all 3 at once and he'll settle for nothing less. Getting tired? Nia will heal him to get back to work.
>far more fun than Pyra/Mythra >solves the harem issue because he's just your bro and not some thirsty shotacon having an identity crisis
Really wish we were in the Metsublade universe, bros...
I hate these yellow icons that don’t show on the map and you have to listen to and go camp after. I ain’t spending time going to each colony etc to hunt for them.
>only appears at a specific time of day
ohhhhhh thats the damn problem. i spent a long time looking for the damn fog in the sea too. probably has something similar
If you mean after you hit the fog the first time, you get the second piece of intel in the city IIRC. Yes it's bullshit and nothing hints that you should look there.
I need unlimited nopon coins im tired of leveling classes. Tell me your class progress carries over into NG+
If you have any amiibo lying around you can get class points as one of the daily bonuses.
Class progress does carry over
I don't have an issue with leveling classes. That's fine. The thing that I have an issue with is that the number of classes in each role aren't equal and you often don't get them at a somewhat regular pattern. For instance, there's 3 healers you get and 3 fighters you get in Chapters 3 and 4 but only 2 defenders, and the defenders you get are basically on opposite sides of the map (Zeon in Colony 4 and Ashera in 11)
I know people here like the fact that the monado isn't "special" anymore and that noah's abilities are his own (outside of having a strong sword) but I kinda liked that the sword was a literal deus ex machina. The literal titular weapon of the franchise having some cringe "LuCkY sEvEn 7 nopons 7 metals hyuck hyuck!!" origin sounds moronic.
>game is called xenoblade >you get the blade in-game >"wow! I wonder what it's special abilities are!" >literally just a strong sword
oh fricking boy, what a premise. I wonder how involved takahashi was with this game because some aspects of the story just seem so phoned in at some places.
Lucky Seven being a strong HF blade Noah forges his own fate with is thematic as FRICK
The game repeatedly shows you that he is training. He slaughters agnians like pigs in the intro already. So it makes sense he just needs a sharp enough sword to shape his destiny.
Shulk relied on his own strength after losing Monado too and even made a functional replica later. The jumps he's doing towards the end of 1 are insane.
yeah, I get that, I just like "the chosen one" scenarios over "you're a random mook who just happens to be more proficient than the other mooks" like what 3 is doing. Shulk only got to that point because of his origins with the monado. Noah A) just happened to be gifted the sword and B) just happened to be well-trained. That's it, that's the beginning and end of him as a character. He's just there.
he's supposed to be the "regular guy" that has to save the world, Gods and fated beings are all dead. Noah is the epitome of the everyman of this new world.
To be fair Noah's training seems to literally make him Jin 2.0 since he shares several techs with him
What is it about Xenoblade and hopeless romantics being katana edgelords?
>What is it about Xenoblade and hopeless romantics being katana edgelords?
Miyamoto Musashi started that trope, he became a philosopher as an old man and his published musings are still studied today.

i thought it was a run of the mill reference to the seven-branched sword. the red sword even has similar three notches on each sides and to noah it's a "ceremonial blade" that hides the real power within.
yeah, I get that, I just like "the chosen one" scenarios over "you're a random mook who just happens to be more proficient than the other mooks" like what 3 is doing. This is the first time I've ever seen anyone admit they like the deus ex machina / chosen one stuff. I'm not trying to shit on you or anything, I'm just surprised.
same anon, I admit it's a cheap, overused trope, but I thought xenoblade genuinely did it well. Just bummed to see them drop that level of nuance and seemingly shrug and say "yeah, noah's just not moronic and has a strong sword, 'bout it"
what fricking dumb Black person okayed the decision to have one song play in the pause menu and during chain attacks? when they literally have unique boss music for when they're at low health?
this shit makes the game way shitter
let me listen to the fricking battle and area music instead of this repetitive shit holy frick
>Nia gets to chill in a pod and probably talk with Poppi to pass the time. >Melia gets chained up with BDSM ropes for hundreds of years while in isolation.
Hahahaha…..
Melia >Shulk already has Fiora, I shouldn't interfere >is only left with the Monado Rex
Nia >Rex already has two wives, one more won't hurt >is left with the memory of being pounded by Rex's 12 inch wiener every night
>Melia's ascension quest >every time she finishes talking to someone a party member thinks to themselves "Queen's rectum, Melia's been through some fricking shit, how on earth is she keeping it together"
I swear I am tempted to learn how to mod switch games somehow and just do it myself. It looks like both of those options would be so easy. Or maybe put a bounty out for both. I'd gladly pay money for it
You don't have to go to NG plus to level down, you unlock that feature in post game by beating the final boss. I think you did have to go NG plus in XB2 for some features, but not in this game, at least not yet.
Yes. The fog in general is the symptom of the worlds crossing over. They're places where the two "spaces" are overlapping, like z-fighting where textures glitch out (pic rel). When they finall, properly touch you get annihilation events. As weird as it sounds, the elements of Xenoblade 1's world are still completely in Xenoblade 1's world and visa versa. It's why interlinking for too long also triggers an annihilation event, the two worlds are VERYVERY close to touching, but they aren't touching. When they do, shit goes wrong.
>chain attacks in 3 last longer than 2 >all the setup for the chain attack happens in the chain attack itself, you get full damage with no risk of getting raped for it instead of having to place orbs in the actual battle first >no minor QTEs to make the huge hits feel good so you're just watching the same drawn out cutscene for literal hours over the course of the game >nothing comes close to the satisfaction of smashing the shit out of orbs
why do people think this is better than 2
Probably shit time and bs one shots out of nowhere that kill all your healers instantly. Just like many other bosses on hard if you are around their level.
>XB1 >has incredible theme song that is played during important/dramatic story scenes >xb2/3 >generic music, nothing really to write home about, never re-used that kino theme ever again >3 tries to imitate that song in places but it never, ever comes anywhere close to sounding anywhere near as good as the original did
why? Did XCX mindfrick takahashi that hard with its "uh uh yeah" Black person influences that he just doesn't know what good music is anymore?
>spark >snuff
I don't get it. The lip syncing is unique for each region, right? That tech has existed for a solid decade now, so it can't be that they are just throwing random words in there to match the lipsyncing like old anime, right?
riku is probably the most interesting character to me. i'm not sure if i want the dlc to elaborate on him or if it's better left unanswered. i wonder if he is the simulacrum that she's been observing the world with rather than the robot that was implied by the cutscene
Nah there was something going on with nopon in general, not just Riku. X mentions they are “supposed to stay uninvolved” and nopon don’t seem to have flame clocks or 10 year lifespans…
Nopon are the only sapient creature shared between the worlds, since homs seem different enough from XC2 humans to not count as the same group. Maybe because of that they're removed from all of the shit involving the two worlds. Some nopon might have realized this and determined that the best way to preserve the nopon as a species was to generally not get involved in shit on a societal level. Yeah you have individual nopon like Riku, Manana, or all the frickers in Colony 30 but they're not a united third faction in the confilct between Agnes and Keves.
FROM MY POINT OF VIEW, THE NOPON ARE EVIL FROM MY POINT OF VIEW WE SHOULD EAT TATSU

I'm getting mass effect keeper vibes from them. Maybe they are meant to keep things in check.

Early into chapter 4, difficulty on hard mode has continuously plummeted, thaumaturge having burst was one thing but it isn't even needed after getting FMJ since their chain attack damage is crazy, then they went and added ouroboros orders so you can kill bosses in 1 chain before they even get to enrage
There's a bug in the game that locks you out of Alexandria's ascension quest
Don't finish Colony 30's Dorrick supply quest too quick, keep checking Colony Iota for Goods in Storage info after you reach a phase.
I know people have been saying FMJ is a really strong DPS but I've been using Incursor and it feels like it just fricking melts shit. And I just found some accessory in the sea that gives 80% crit and literally just criting every single hit right now
Full Metal Jaguar really benefits from chain attacks giving it big numbers since it’s an attacker so you want to use it multiple times, combined with all attacks having 100% accuracy so the damage bonus piles on quick. Having no reaction arts means you can use demolition to quickly rack up the hits.
they’re about the same, fmj is just ranged and works fine without its positionals so the ai doesn’t do moronic shit like run off to narnia and die to aoes which they do ALL the time with a melee class
FMJ, Seraph and Incursor are all really fricking strong
Noah's and Ethel's classes are honestly fantastic too with good master arts/skills
Though obviously all of them pale in comparison to a hyper autismo soul hacker minmax build
Incursor felt really good. Last night I was fighting the last Y fight on hard and I went 2,2,2 and it took forever. I was annoyed that it was so long and felt it could be done much faster so I ran 5 Incursors with two healers and it took half the time.
Whats the best way to use Seraph?
Right now Taion is the only one with it but i'm more impressed by Martial artist with the 100% crit skill from Incursor
>Whats the best way to use Seraph?
Fusion combos out the ass with Lunae rings equipped and Signifier/Troubadour in your party. It's just a constant stream of 100K+ attacks.
No, but there was one time there was a full loading screen that led to an unvoiced in engine cutscene before a fight, that was unusual. And once it got stuck on black for like 20 seconds when skip travelling. Might be the classic Switch memory leak, try closing the game and reopening and hope it's enough.
I was kinda confused here.
Is it DIFFERENT timelines here, or is it Mio and Noah reincarnating but in the same timeline so that kid is actually alive in the current world?
>How do we know they've been doing this for centuries.
M was present at the first real homecoming ceremony. The game explicitly says that that moment was "1000 years ago".
>for several hundred years noah and mio would meet, fall in love, and then noah would feel grief at losing her due to hitting the end of her tenth term, only to die in some way later on and continue the cycle
I'm still in chapter 6 but I don't remember if they clarify how homecoming benefits Mobius if those who die do not come back to life?

Another doubt, which may be a bit silly, but how is it possible that there are 2 Noah's? The fact that N is a Mobius does not prevent another Noah from appearing? Maybe I missed something or my low IQ didn't understand the explanation of the cycle.
idk why people say mio is reserved
she’s merely polite in a sea of rude people
hell i remember far more moments where she shouts at someone or tells what’s really on her mind rather than keeping to herself
>idk why people say mio is reserved
Who the hell is saying this? She's literally the first one to fly off the handle at someone. She does it multiple times throughout the story.
The ONLY time poppi was based is when she tells Rex to frick off when he begs for a ride in the ending, the rest of the time she is 100% grade A cringe.
Didn't make me cry but that cutscene at the end of Maktha where Mio and Noah get into an argument and then make up the next day easily had better writing than 99% of JRPG romances and shows the improvements to tone they've made coming off of 2. I've had that exact argument with my gf on multiple occasions so it felt like Sena was literally talking to (me). I know it's moronic but it was just a weird feeling of connection that I'm not used to getting from this genre anymore.
I'm still on chapter 4 so I'm not sure how I feel about the overall story (mainly because consuls seems like a hopelessly lame attempt to recapture the kino of the testaments from Saga while missing what actually made them intriguing in the first place), but the dialog and character interactions are some of the best I've seen.
Yeah, Rex’s relationships were played for laughs with only joke being he’s constantly embarrassed about showing attraction. Noah and mio felt more like a real relationship which is saying a lot since they both were indoctrinated to be nothing but mindless killers
I like how the pairs represent different stages of relationships >Noah and Mio are in deeply in love, across multiple versions of themselves, literally nothing can keep them apart >Eunie and Taion are in the "early crush" or "friendship on the cusp of becoming romance" stage
in the Japanese dialogue she's a fairly standard but likeable 'tough-girl' character. like the rest of the dub characters though, they over-localize her into an obnoxious caricature and no, she does not get any better.
Focus on the founders of the City, AFTER Z's defeat. Simultaneous sequel/prequel. Still play as Noah and Mio along with other founders リース/Rhys, アニス/Ennis, ワルター/Walter, and ビトリス/Beitris. Moebius is still present. Moebius AZ/Aion/エイオン•Z is the big bad, propped up by the Moebius that remained after Z's defeat. Seems to be an epilogue chapter that deals with the "brand" and those "left behind." Heroes include Lanz/Sena/Eunie/Taion and stand-ins for Rex and Shulk called いが/Eagle and カルン/Karan respectively.
Plot seems to revolve around the war with the Moebius who need life energy specifically to operate Moebius AZ. The pretense of Keves/Agnus being at war is abandoned, but the limited lifespans are present - With the "brand" appearing suddenly and giving people variable time to live. Primary settlement is The City as it was before N's attack on it and similar to Torna is the only "major" residential place you can visit. One image we see is multiple Gilgamesh class Ferronis planes incoming. Reminds me of Big O at a first glance based on everyone's clothing and the City design.
Is it just me or did they just do a better job all around with Mio's emotiveness and expressions compared to other characters?
The reason I ask is because she always looks great during a lot of cutscenes and conversations and then I see Noah do like a weird robot turn with his whole torso and I'm wondering what the frick is going on.
almost beat chapter 6. why is such a phenomenal main cast stuck in such a shitty story
terrible villains with terrible motivations
that scene where M and N are all ready to fight or give up their secrets only to have to listen to two insufferable little girls b***h at each other in pure melodrama voice for 5 minutes was unbearable.
whoever came up with gondor and shania should be shot out of a fricking cannon into the sun
also the boat fricking sucks
best part of the game was the floating reef approach to the castle and the first real story reveals of the game. it was still promising then
What to know why I'm so mad?
Because you say it's her game yet she's barely fricking in it >lowest amount of scenes >lowest amount of voiced lines >zero progression for her
The did my girl dirty.

>All of her ""development"" moments are just ghondor and shania having a hissy fit and crying about "just b urself lmao" while she sits in the corner and does nothing
Pissed me off so much, especially her side-story
The quest with segiri was so adorabe, I wish sena got to shine like THAT more often
>95 hours in >only just found out the game tells you how to activate ascension quests
Why would they hide this behind several menus instead of just putting it in the class selection?
I played the first two chapters in english, it was fine i guess but when i met ethel i was overcome with disgust at the sight of a beautiful anime woman like her having a disgusting brit voice instead of a normal japanese one, so i switched to jap and never went back
And after xenoblade 2 i dont even want to imagine how this one's dub handles some of the emotional and yelling stuff that happens later in the game
Why can't I trigger the ascension quest for _Nia_? I got all the memories and talk about it at the rest spot, but it won't activate a quest and the topic is still there
Even selling it is a pain because of the sheer volume
Gimme the lowdown about classes, do i wanna teach 'em all to every character, or is it fine to stick to the default roles (attacker for noah and sena and so on)
I have a question about post game. I know you get two new heroes and who they are. But do their Hero quests play out like you have finished the game already?
>Noah and Mio has been falling in love for a thousand years >they STILL don't have enough >he loves her so deeply he NTRs himself >he's loved by 2 Mios at once in the process >they want each other so badly Noah just fricks off to her world when the pussy princess is just 10 years old
This game has as much meme potential as 2 despite Noah only loving 1 girl
>70+ hours >just started chapter 5
am I the only one
why does it feel like everyone besides me has finished the fricking game
why are none of you using spoiler tags
In his defense, he is not meant to be an unforgettable one, he is just the artificial incarnation of the collective unconscious fear of getting blasted into oblivion by the merge. Nothing more. The bad guys are inconsequential to the story, they are just here for the heroes to fight something more tangible than a collective fear of tomorrow. It works very well mith the setting imho, but you won't get KinoMalos or OmnicidalZanza tier of bad guys.
and that kinda ruined it for me.
the first thing i questioned, when i saw the baddies the very first time, was "who of them is connected to the first or second game?".
but they were literally nobodies.
Moebiuses are handpicked par a deficient program who thinks humans are in the right to be dead afraid of the merge. You qualify by instilling/receiving such fear that you just want to tell tomorrow to frick of. By doing so, you break many things in yous psyche, hence why Moebiuses rapidly devolves into bored as frick killers who gets of on fear to feel and feed. They are nobodies because it can happen to anyone fron the slightest shit (Consuls J and S are prime examples, D is an interesting one).
i mean, i get it.
it's a pretty long game, if you count all the sidequests. no sane streamer would do this unless he is a turbo xenogay.
took me 100 hours to finish most shit before the final boss and i'm still missing some stuff.
I don't know how enel managed to beat the game so fast and grind to max level and max gems. I got the game physically three days after it leaked online and I still haven't finished all the sidequests with 130 hours. That homosexual didn't get the game early, he played the leaked copy, so what gives? Is he using cheats?
It's fricking LONG that's why. Long games don't get good CCVs most of the time and streamers know this. That's why they stream shorter games most of the time if they're chasing views.
I don't think there's ever been an Irish accent in Xenoblade, strangely enough. They even slipped a random Scouser into XC2 for some reason, but no Irish.
There were some here. Triton is the strongest, with some pirate-isms thrown on top. Fiona sounds like an American trying to do an Irish accent (maybe because blades are supposed to have American voices), her consul sounded more proper and one of her friends was definitely an Ulster accent. I want to say Consul P too but that could be his hoity-toity mannerisms affecting it.
Literally anyone of us would do the same in his situation
There's only one character who had a similar perspective and choose a way of true hardships and even alienating his beloved
No, she's a she in pretty much every language except english. Seems her lines of dialogue weren't clear enough for the english tl. Thze solution was dumb.
>Woke Black folk all about cultural appropriation >Uses english as if it were the word of God for reference >For a japanese game >It oppresses cultures whose languages are clearly gendered
First person syndrome combined with their lunacy.
It's cultural imperialism, same with the american's push for "latinx"
Diversity quotas do the opposite of what they're officially stated to do. I'm willing to bet they'd be looked at in the future similar to how the "war on drugs" is viewed nowadays
For language, it's of no consequences to them. >French, Spanish, Portuguese,... WHITE LANGUAGES MUST BURN, only english and token speakers for long lost languages to actual oppression.
The irony is beautiful, if you know a bit about the history of the english language.
Anon almost every single "they/them" is just a girl who wants to be part of the LGBT but isn't actually trans. They don't experience any dysphoria or change anything about themselves but are able to go around saying they're trans just cause. Hardly counts.
So can anyone tell me what accents are in the game. Being an American I don't understand any of the nuances between em asides Welch so I'd like to know who has what accent.
MIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
YOU WERN'T SUPPOSE TO LOVE HIM MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU'RE MY WOMANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Why is Takahashi unable to go a single numbered Xenoblade game without including NTR? although the NTR was retroactively undone for XB2
At least he isn't as defective as SAO author who feels it necessary to include rape in every arc.
Does it count if he did it to himself?
Yes, in fact it's worse.
You know after XB1 and 2 I wondered what kind of cucking would happen in this game because it's almost like a series standard
Didn't expect it to be like this
I remember threads before it launched people were wondering who was going to get cucked. Some anons actually said Mio lmao. Little did we know it was Noah just cucking himself
>literally secures himself a prime cuckshed seat right inside of his other self's body
>offs his spirit out of shame later
>Mio loving another me?
>No, I don't want that!
>I want her to love me and no one else for the rest of her life.
>Even after I die, I want to be at the forefront of her thoughts for a while! Ten terms at least!
Eh, I prefer her mom.
C O N C U B I N E
reminds me of this classic
Look at these two, they look so happy together
balls
I'M THE GIRL WITH wiener
>look above the door to Nia's room
>see Dromarch's severed mounted above the doorway
I mean it's probably just a dummy replica but seeing it hung up like that gave me a start.
SHE'S ON HER 6TH TERM, YOU SICK FRICK
Even better
Legal in my Colony.
God I wish Alex would bully me with her huge ass
I forgive almost every other 'rule of cool' moment in this and every other xeno game but this was fricking moronic
Noah has a big one on his back.
In the offseer uniform it's just on waist, boots and a small one on the neck.
We know what the tech does, but don't know how the tech works. The number of glowing rings might not indicate the total power output, it's just conjecture.
Lanz needs it on his hands to lift boulders.
Placement being important is also conjecture. Like I said, we don't know how it works. It may be that a single ring emits a forcefield around people that augments their strength. Been a while since I played Future connected, but could Shulk use monado arts with his new replica?
>I DON'T GIVE A FRICK WHO YOU ARE
>Sena still can't imitate Mio's raw cat strength
I can't stop thinking of picrel when I see Mio's pose
Guys, I'm at chapter 1. I just started playing because I was busy but now that I have more free time I want to play as much as possible.
Is there a new game plus? If so, is there a lot of cool stuff to do like in Xenoblade 2? Should I bother doing sidequests now or leave them for later like in Xeno 2? Should I rush through the story?
>there is NG+, but it doesn't have nearly as much content as XB2's NG+, although that might be rectified in future updates. most of xenoblade 2's NG+ features were absent at launch as well. there is a somewhat substantial postgame, however
>you will probably be overleveled if you do sidequests, but doing them and getting colony affinity up is necessary for several hero ascension quests. most heroes have sidequests associated with unlocking them, so prioritize those
>the game is very long, so break up story and sidequests however you want
feel like I don't fully understand chain attacks, or there's some meta that I'm unaware of with it.
interlink lv3 chain attack
>only 2 orders
>likely only able to get a few attacks in before hitting 100%
>damage % is boosted
normal chain attack
>4 potential orders
>can get 10+ attacks before ending the chain
>if you're lucky you can end with an interlink order
The real benefit of the ouroboros chain attack is getting a reasonably large overkill bonus in less time
Ouroboros stuff is good depending on your set up
For instance, if you stack tons of buffs on each one (since the whole party comes back), then you're good.
The benefit of Ouroboros stuff is that you can reliably use every party member
>reliably use every party member
>start interlink lv3 chain
>first attack does 75+ %
>next attack hits 100%
>first order fires off
>first attack does over 100%
>final order fires off
???? am I doing this wrong or what
if you start with an attacker they get a bonus and if you finish with a defender they get a bonus.
read the tutorials. seriously.
what determines who you start with, or rather the order for your party in general when it comes to chain attacks?
Some notable Hero effects are (spoilers I guess)
>Valdi gets +50 TP when used if attacking a machine (this can stack between rounds, and will, quickly)
>Teach gives other characters a small TP boosts when used, (again, can stack if used well)
>Ashera will automatically get 200% if used as the finisher, meaning 3 free reactivations
>Riku/Manana will give whoever goes next a 1.25x TP multiplier
Getting to the end of Chapter 4 and hearing Noah say Melia kind of threw me for a loop. I was so sure this game took place in some sort of cloned pocket dimension. But hearing the name itself kind of unsettled me
I got the same feeling hearing them say Uraya for the first time, followed by going in and seeing the ruins of the great stairway. Before that it was just to the effect of
>oh I guess that looks like the Bionis leg all right
Like there were recognizable landmarks but they didn't hold much significance.
Wait til you see the guy mention the Mechonis' hand.
>mfw no water slide
Juniper is just moronic
it's an AOE so i imagine she shoots targets around her as she spins. it looks moronic in chain attacks though lol
Test
I'm in Chapter 7. Question about two Heroes. Ethel just joined me again and both her and Cammuravi got their class rank 20 limit broken. Are these two not going to get Hero quests of their own anymore?
That was their hero quests
Are you fricking kidding me? I just walked into that lab with no quest and thats it? Arent every other hero getting at least two quests?
Ghondor gets three hero quests
I'M THE BRO WITH THE HOE(S)
>there is no new game++ secret ending where Rex impregnated everyone, including Dromarch and Gramps
>canon fricking with Zeke
I wil NOW buy your game
>Mythra's baby grew up to be Crys
Crys is from Kelves, moron.

He still won
You WILL have sex

thanks for nothing Abe
Can't you at least give me some tips?
Penis inside vegana, the Ouroboros power
Why does v hate this game I think it's really good
it's literally just one doomposting schizo who hates xenoblade and comes in to say how much better XCX is than everything
he did the same thing with XB2
During XCX he did the same thing with FF15. This dude just has Xenoblade rotting his brain.
The most hilarious part about this picture isn't even the thing at the front.
Look at the background. Recognize anyone with a shit eating grin?
>Yup, that's my boy. Knocked up all three of them b***hes. Way to go, kid.
Has anyone photoshopped this pic to also have Morag, Brigid, Pandoria, and Dromarch holding Rex's babies?
>gramps had to listen to the several hour long foursomes every night
So outside of this image, is there any additional proof that those three children are actually Rex's? What if it's a cuck situation and he's JUST-ing for three kids that aren't his?
>occam's razor
Why do you think Zeke looks so sheepish?
Well, he did ask Nia if she wanted to rest her head on his lap that one time...
Could you imagine?
Reveal in the DLC that Mio's bloodline traces back to Torna.
Twist reveal that it's not actually through Addam's royal lineage and Rex, but because Nia fricked Zeke and took his usurper line jizz when she was feeling lonely one time.
>inb4 the father is Turters
His smug smile at the camera and the way he's stanced the frick up in the middle of all three of them, YOU JUST KNOW
Would be funny, but Monolith doesn't have the balls to hurt the precious 2babs that gave them their first million seller.
>cuckgays and 2haters are so butt blasted that they have to fabricate entire scenarios to compensate
I like 2 as a game but Rex is a boring fricking protagonist, with more love interests than defining character traits.
Just look at Rex's chad pose and try to tell me he didn't give them all the D
There’s absolutely no way Pyra/Mythra would go with anyone else considering One Last You is them pretty much begging Klaus to have a chance with Rex. With Nia maybe it’s someone else’s kid but I’m not seeing it honestly.
>What if it's a cuck situation and he's JUST-ing for three kids that aren't his?
Why would that be the situation? There's no reason to suspect that in any shape or form
NTRgays will always find a way
Actually only Pyra's kid is Rex's the other 2 married other men who aren't in the picture because they're not part of the original group
I really like the Grecian look Rex and wives are pulling off here.
if the babies are around the same age that means rex impregnated all three of them at the same time
Yes anon. Rex is such a giga chad who sleeps with all 3 at once and he'll settle for nothing less. Getting tired? Nia will heal him to get back to work.
Morag looks like she was forced to dress casually and this was the closest they could convince her.
>Morag this is a lighthearted affair so you don't have to dress all military this time
>Still goes out in former wear
Alt timeline where Rex has 6 kids with Pyra and Mythra sitting on both sides.
>Zeke died a virgin
bros...
Honestly disappointed they didn't throw Zeke and Pandy a bone. They definately should've had a kid with them during that picture.
>Zeke
>Virgin
You mean morag, this pic is probably the last time he and pandoria were separated physically.
He and Pandoria had to dedicate all of their time to raising Turters
what is he thinking?
>I just know
>flora heals an aching soul, but what can quiet a crying babe?
Nia milkers
>Perhaps I should reconsider Azurda’s offer of getting some romance in my life.
>Blades are not supposed to bear children, what the frick did the architect do to them?
>Man, I hope there's no Xenoblade Chronicles 3
>500+ years of babysitting
Will my man Dromarch ever dtop suffering?
>becomes uncle
>mysteriously dissapears
Nia had him stuffed and mounted on her wall. You can see his head outside her room.
did I miss something while playing xbc2 or is there a lore reason how blades can get pregnant??? i thought they weren't even human
Play 3, they explain it
Rex's legs look extremely weird
Does this pic confirm that Morag is a lesbian with Brighid or is she simply a military autist with no concept of any romantic relationships period
Millitary autist. Brighid would have found a way to knock her up If she was a raging lesbian.
Shut up homosexual
I'll never get tired of seeing Nia finally get her complete happy ending
Why does Rex look like Malos?
he looks like adel tho. same shit eating grin
YJK
>far more fun than Pyra/Mythra
>solves the harem issue because he's just your bro and not some thirsty shotacon having an identity crisis
Really wish we were in the Metsublade universe, bros...
I still can't get over the fact that a number of evil mythra posts and art are also excuses for the creator to engage in rex and malos yaoi.
>Malos
he's literally Addam now
Why is she like this? She is so fricking unhinged when she talks. Feels like a shitposter
>CAM ON KEVES
>SCORE SOME SPAHKIN KILLS
>tfw colony 11 girl was right when she picked out the lie of Eunie would never being on a team of battle maniacs
Eunie is the best
YOU TURNED MIO AGAINST ME
>english dub
frick off disgusting subhuman homosexuals
i saw a montage if her in fromt of charles de gaull
that was clever ngl
I hate these yellow icons that don’t show on the map and you have to listen to and go camp after. I ain’t spending time going to each colony etc to hunt for them.
>get 2/3 of one conversation
>circle around the colony a dozen times searching for the final part
>only appears at a specific time of day
This is always my least favorite part of xeno agems. Fricking fishing for certain NPCs.
>only appears at a specific time of day
ohhhhhh thats the damn problem. i spent a long time looking for the damn fog in the sea too. probably has something similar
If you mean after you hit the fog the first time, you get the second piece of intel in the city IIRC. Yes it's bullshit and nothing hints that you should look there.
If you have any amiibo lying around you can get class points as one of the daily bonuses.
>you get the second piece of intel in the city IIRC
motherfricker
Took me forever to get Segiri's ascension because of this
oh
so that's the problem
I've already fully upgraded the prison and she still keeps insisting on whoring herself to make some money
Yeah, you're looking for No. 8 who seems to only be around at certain hours
>mfw power charge into Noah's ouroboros talent art
why does this do so much fricking damage
it's monado turbocharged with bullshit nopon magic
You haven't seen shit yet. He still holds back.
I need unlimited nopon coins im tired of leveling classes. Tell me your class progress carries over into NG+
You can farm them off the pinotitos
7 billion folded nopon steel!
>game is called xenoblade
>you get the blade in-game
>"wow! I wonder what it's special abilities are!"
>literally just a strong sword
oh fricking boy, what a premise. I wonder how involved takahashi was with this game because some aspects of the story just seem so phoned in at some places.
the real Xenoblade was the friends we made along the way
>literally just a strong sword
This is what ~~*they*~~ want you to believe
3000 nopon folded steel > God blades
Agreed
Muh lucky 7 is just moronic and its moronly cliched
>Oooooooooooooo better hold back this is too strong...
i thought it was a run of the mill reference to the seven-branched sword. the red sword even has similar three notches on each sides and to noah it's a "ceremonial blade" that hides the real power within.
pretty pisspoor reference to that if they name it after a slot machine pull.
RAKKII SEBEN probably sounds cooler to japs
>slot machine pull
newbie
lucky 777 has existed in slot machine terms long before FF7 even existed you moron
but using it as a JRPG mechanic started there
and the JRPG mechanic was used in the first place as a reference to slot machines
Noah doesn't want to kill. That's a huge part of his characterization
Not like the game doesn't show what he becomes when he loses it.
I honestly wish that was done better.
This is the first time I've ever seen anyone admit they like the deus ex machina / chosen one stuff. I'm not trying to shit on you or anything, I'm just surprised.
same anon, I admit it's a cheap, overused trope, but I thought xenoblade genuinely did it well. Just bummed to see them drop that level of nuance and seemingly shrug and say "yeah, noah's just not moronic and has a strong sword, 'bout it"
I wish there was a way to refight Mobious
I'm assuming the dlc will let me do that though
Why are the ouroboros art combo level 3 only. Tedious.
>still no WEBM of Eunie waking up and stretching in the sunlight during Ch 4 when the food is stolen
Do post game quests play out like you have beaten the final boss already?
what fricking dumb Black person okayed the decision to have one song play in the pause menu and during chain attacks? when they literally have unique boss music for when they're at low health?
this shit makes the game way shitter
let me listen to the fricking battle and area music instead of this repetitive shit holy frick
the chain attack music is very good at least. the pause music is so grating i mash through the menus as fast as i can to escape it.
Just wait for the update bro
>Nia gets to chill in a pod and probably talk with Poppi to pass the time.
>Melia gets chained up with BDSM ropes for hundreds of years while in isolation.
Hahahaha…..
Melia was built to suffer
It's funny that Takahashi could have easily switch them, but I guess he just likes to keep making her suffer.
Melia
>Shulk already has Fiora, I shouldn't interfere
>is only left with the Monado Rex
Nia
>Rex already has two wives, one more won't hurt
>is left with the memory of being pounded by Rex's 12 inch wiener every night
>doesn't even have Dunban to fall back on since he got MECHONed.com
>Nia uncucked herself
It's not fricking fair bros. With N, we were supposed to have a cuck character in every game
>Melia's ascension quest
>every time she finishes talking to someone a party member thinks to themselves "Queen's rectum, Melia's been through some fricking shit, how on earth is she keeping it together"
Mod that lets me play/switch the heroes when?
NEVER
It's been like two weeks and there's still no mod to level down before NG+
It's fricking over
I swear I am tempted to learn how to mod switch games somehow and just do it myself.
Man they really fricked up Alcamoth in XC3
so, question, are the fog beasts from future connected byproducts from the XB2 universe crossing over into the XB1 universe?
When they do, shit goes wrong.
>chain attacks in 3 last longer than 2
>all the setup for the chain attack happens in the chain attack itself, you get full damage with no risk of getting raped for it instead of having to place orbs in the actual battle first
>no minor QTEs to make the huge hits feel good so you're just watching the same drawn out cutscene for literal hours over the course of the game
>nothing comes close to the satisfaction of smashing the shit out of orbs
why do people think this is better than 2
Because 2's combat is all it has, terrible everything else.
>WAY better music
>WAY better environments
>better combat
>better characters
>better story
>hurr 2 is terrible
are you fricking daft
if 2 is so good why are you hanging out in a 3 thread
LOL CHECKMATE moron
>better characters
I don't agree with this at all.
2 has better villains and that's it. 3 story and cast is better. X has the best gameplay and environments
>2 has better villains and that's it.
I'd argue that D alone is more entertaining than anyone in Torna who is not Malos and Jin.
D intro was interesting, but he was fricking ruined at the end.
Mahlos and Jin are better, tought N is very good, too.
3's cast is way too fricking bland
I disagree. I think they're a lot of fun. A good voice cast really helps elevate it.
I mostly like that they bounce off eachother more than 2's does.
>muh voice cast
why are you dubBlack folk giving your worthless opinions on anything?
>
>WAY worse music
>WAY worse enviroments
>worse combat
>worse characters
>worse story
>hurr 2 is great
why do people seriously think 2 is good
>>WAY better music
I'm not done with the game yet, but even from what I've seen so far, 3 has better music, but only marginally so.
>3 has better music
do you even have fricking ears
Jesus Christ
3 has the best soundtrack in the series because of one track alone
For me it's
>but only marginally so.
moron.
>finally fricking beat consul J on hard mode
Christ frick this fat turd
XB4 where Noah and Mio meet again or it's implied that they did when? Or will they just do something completely different?
About to fight Z on Hard. What am I in for?
A stupidly long fight
Probably shit time and bs one shots out of nowhere that kill all your healers instantly. Just like many other bosses on hard if you are around their level.
Despair.
Is future connected worth playing? Does it somehow reference 3? I don't want to experience 1 after finishing the main story. It can go frick itself
Eh, you can just watch the cutscenes. It's Melia closure. The exploring stuff in between isn't interesting.
give me a JRPG protagonist that actively wants to kill.
Hard Mode: No Caim.

YIPEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
>XB1
>has incredible theme song that is played during important/dramatic story scenes
>xb2/3
>generic music, nothing really to write home about, never re-used that kino theme ever again
>3 tries to imitate that song in places but it never, ever comes anywhere close to sounding anywhere near as good as the original did
why? Did XCX mindfrick takahashi that hard with its "uh uh yeah" Black person influences that he just doesn't know what good music is anymore?
Queen’s fluffy ears, the transition from chapter 5 to 6 took sparking forever.
Shut up mudder
>spark
>snuff
I don't get it. The lip syncing is unique for each region, right? That tech has existed for a solid decade now, so it can't be that they are just throwing random words in there to match the lipsyncing like old anime, right?
It's fake swearing because they they're basically kids.
but the jap version just straight up doesn't have anything like that. It's fully something unique to the localization.
The brits got a little to liberal with their localization.
XC3 characters that made you nut?
Mio, Mio, MIO!
I feel like this was an animation error but they just left it in because it was fun and the story needed a bit of levity.
Okay, but where are the mods to remove sena's shorts? I can see orange pantsu under there.
Chad Zeon soon breeding Juniper
kek that look Juniper gives Zeon
Can you blame her?
How is it possible Melia never got fricked....
>
what the FRICK did he mean by this
I assumed this meant Melia was his masterpon but that doesnt seem to make a lot of sense
Noponis in Birgina
RIKU GIVER HER THE DICK-U
Riku is for Manana
>Riku is for Manana
more like she is manana's news (lol because it's mexican for yesterday)
Riku (Rex's son) loves all of you guys, too.
Riku is Riki's son
YOU JUST KNOW
>he's so cuddly I could almost cuddle him to death
Riki must have been desperate one night missing wifeypon and this harlot took advantage of him.
riku is probably the most interesting character to me. i'm not sure if i want the dlc to elaborate on him or if it's better left unanswered. i wonder if he is the simulacrum that she's been observing the world with rather than the robot that was implied by the cutscene
Nah there was something going on with nopon in general, not just Riku. X mentions they are “supposed to stay uninvolved” and nopon don’t seem to have flame clocks or 10 year lifespans…
https://xenoblade.fandom.com/wiki/How_Wars_Profit_Nopon
what did they mean by this?
FROM MY POINT OF VIEW, THE NOPON ARE EVIL
FROM MY POINT OF VIEW WE SHOULD EAT TATSU
I'm getting mass effect keeper vibes from them. Maybe they are meant to keep things in check.
>Nopon are the only sapient creature shared between the worlds
Tirkin too
Ignas are sapient too right?
Early into chapter 4, difficulty on hard mode has continuously plummeted, thaumaturge having burst was one thing but it isn't even needed after getting FMJ since their chain attack damage is crazy, then they went and added ouroboros orders so you can kill bosses in 1 chain before they even get to enrage
There's a bug in the game that locks you out of Alexandria's ascension quest
Don't finish Colony 30's Dorrick supply quest too quick, keep checking Colony Iota for Goods in Storage info after you reach a phase.
what's the name of the quest I shouldn't be finishing
It’s a chain of quests, you give stuff to a nopon and then a quest opens up, there’s 10 phases in total though only about 7 stages I think.
Having no reaction arts means you can use demolition to quickly rack up the hits.
they’re about the same, fmj is just ranged and works fine without its positionals so the ai doesn’t do moronic shit like run off to narnia and die to aoes which they do ALL the time with a melee class
>ai doesn’t do moronic shit
You just can't win in this game.
>play a healer
>place down AoE damage up
>all the DPS immediately run away
>play a dps
>tanks can't hold hate for shit
>immediately die
>play a tank
>dps doing shit damage
>healers withholding heals
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
GIVE ME THE FF12 GAMBIT SYSTEM IN EVERY GAME RIGHT NOW!!!!
just let the AI play tbh
either that or tard wrangle them into circles using the follow me command.
FMJ, Seraph and Incursor are all really fricking strong
Noah's and Ethel's classes are honestly fantastic too with good master arts/skills
Though obviously all of them pale in comparison to a hyper autismo soul hacker minmax build
So if you were to rank post game melee classes how would it go?
Soul Hacker>Incursor>Swordfighter=Flash Fencer>Ogre=Yumsmith=Machine Assassin>Martial Artist
They're all good in my opinion
I've been playing this game for almost 80 hours now. All of a sudden I get super long load times for some cutscenes. Anyone else having this issue?
I guess I'd suggest cleaning out your shader cache.
Unfortunately I'm playing on the Switch itself.
Oof. No idea, senpai.
Have your tried resetting your switch?
No, but there was one time there was a full loading screen that led to an unvoiced in engine cutscene before a fight, that was unusual. And once it got stuck on black for like 20 seconds when skip travelling. Might be the classic Switch memory leak, try closing the game and reopening and hope it's enough.
Resetting fixed it. Nintendo really needs to put out a stronger system.
MIO PANTYHOSE FOOTJOBS
go back to Keves Noah
I get it now. The cats are irresistible
>cat
I'm pretty sure those are just hair tufts, not cat ears
They're ears. If you look at her model, you can see the fuzzy gormotti fur texture
>her

seethe cope dial 8 for more options
they move, and guessing since she's not Urayan, A blade, or a soul eater, she's likely Gormotti
They're ears. In the quest for the painter he says she'd be a perfect model if she could take the ears off and she says they don't.
;_;
what's that little shit up to anyway?
was he murdered in the woods? i mean, seriously? just leaves him there all alone
>unlike Rex Noah's genes were dominant and his child actually looks like him
Okay, we meet Noah's child in DLC? Cool.
I was kinda confused here.
Is it DIFFERENT timelines here, or is it Mio and Noah reincarnating but in the same timeline so that kid is actually alive in the current world?
They keep being reincarnated in clone bodies. The kid probably died centuries ago though
How do we know they've been doing this for centuries.
And lol this game just fricking loves bringing back x dead guy so I wouldn't be surprised.
Only 1000 people have ever made it to the Agnus Homecoming. That's probably a drop in the bucket for them.
They seems to be able to soultrap Exiles into the Origin, tho I'm not sure.
Best girl. I have only used Sena the entire game.
I actually love xb3 more than xb2
Rank them:
Riki
Nene
KINO
Tatsu
Tora
Riku
Manana
They're all good except for Tatsu AKA the Scrappy Doo of the series.
Tatsu is indeed, so fricking horrible that it completely fricks the curve by which any other character in this franchise can be ranked.
Haven't played X, what's his problem?
literal reddit tier humor (unironically)
every time he's on screen, he and another character just joke about how he's a potato and going to be eaten. he's the worst kind of comedic relief
literally the jar jar binks of xenoblade
bad dub
Tatsu isn't even bad. Everyone else treats him like shit because he doesn't want to be a fricking child soldier.
I had no issue with Tatsu at all. Just with that ugly potato face that bullies him all the time.
i dunno about the rest but tatsu is definitely delete tier
just kill tatsu, xcx has literally the worst characters of the series by far
every other nopon is pretty based, especially tora
but the best aesthetic
Tora and poppi nearly single-handedly ruined xb2.thank god they are basically ignored after chapter 5
>poppi nearly single-handedly ruined xb2
lol
lmao even
He's right. Poppi was a walking plot device. How many times did the party get bailed out because "lol Poppi doesn't use ether"?
The ONLY time poppi was based is when she tells Rex to frick off when he begs for a ride in the ending, the rest of the time she is 100% grade A cringe.
Poppi is the soul of XB2. Seeing her in the credits scene, JS mode no less, redeemed the XB3 ending for me
No. Poppi is cringe
i think having a donut steel mc really hurts the cast
i appreciate the ambition to experiment with new things but this one is better off not repeated
Tora=Riku=Bana(XC2)=Manana=Riki>Nene>Tatsu>KINO
I love nopons in general even Tatsu
Sorry, Kino fans I found him boring
Riku=Manana>Tora>Riki>Nene>Kino>>>>
I fricking love Manana
How could anyone not love that talking fluffball when they're so eager to feed you? The quickest way to a man's heart really is his stomach.
Monopon > Riki = Riku = Manana > Tora > Kino and Nene > a sack of potatoes > Tatsu
Riku > POWER GAP > Niranira > any other nopon
Riku > Riki > Manana = Tora > Nene >> Kino >>>> Tatsu
REAL question, who'd hotter
Nene or Manana?
Manana would clearly make the better wife which makes her more attractive in my eyes.
Manana wonderful cheffypon! Manana number one!
I don't know what flavor of degenerate this makes me on a technical level, but I'd frick the shit out of Manana. So her.
Riku > Poppi > Riki > Manana > Nene > Kino > Tora > Tatsu
They're all garbage. Literally the worst parts of every scene they're in
why is this game making me cry on a regular basis
Never do Ghondor Ascension quest, it will make you cry like a little girl
RIP
>Never do Ghondor Ascension quest
Which one? kek
Knowing your family
I like how the pairs represent different stages of relationships
>Noah and Mio are in deeply in love, across multiple versions of themselves, literally nothing can keep them apart
>Eunie and Taion are in the "early crush" or "friendship on the cusp of becoming romance" stage
I just love taking random screenshots of battles
>just unlocked Soul Hacker
Jesus christ I'm never going to finish this game.
do i need to play 2's dlc before 3?
There are some similarities to 3 story, so yeah. Torna is great
oh look, free XP
I just got to the Prison and I need to know.
Does Ghondor get more tolerable?
Depends on what you mean by better. She chills out a bit, but being a loud hardass is her thing.
in the Japanese dialogue she's a fairly standard but likeable 'tough-girl' character. like the rest of the dub characters though, they over-localize her into an obnoxious caricature and no, she does not get any better.
no. just turn the dialogue to JP because her VA is probably the worst in the entire game and she gets a lot of screentime.
Is millic meadows or whatever supposed to be 3's gaur plains. Cause the music is a travesty
DLC is called 未来の設立者/Founding Future
Can you confirm it is them?
I don't think so, but Ennis has white feathery hair so that could be her right of center and the redhead might be Walter, who has orange hair.
It is a painting from one of the sidequests in Colony 0 (Prison). As I remember it was said that Moebius considered that painting dangerous
Strange. I guess the woman in the back looks a lot like AZ
Dunno about AZ but she certainly looks like female Byleth in Enlightened One clothes
If someone is interested the quest is called Acknowledging Feelings
What do you mean by stand-ins for Shulk and Rex?
Sounds bad
Nice LARP. That shit's not releasing until 2024. I doubt they've even begun working on it yet.
I know this must be near impossible but I have to try and ask, what's the melody that sounds during this timestamp?
?t=120
I could have sworn I'd heard that in the Erythia Sea
Is it just me or did they just do a better job all around with Mio's emotiveness and expressions compared to other characters?
The reason I ask is because she always looks great during a lot of cutscenes and conversations and then I see Noah do like a weird robot turn with his whole torso and I'm wondering what the frick is going on.
It's her ears
I just got to the Ouroboros part and I didn't like it.
They start out really slow. Once you unlock arts canceling and form switching they're really broken.
almost beat chapter 6. why is such a phenomenal main cast stuck in such a shitty story
terrible villains with terrible motivations
that scene where M and N are all ready to fight or give up their secrets only to have to listen to two insufferable little girls b***h at each other in pure melodrama voice for 5 minutes was unbearable.
whoever came up with gondor and shania should be shot out of a fricking cannon into the sun
also the boat fricking sucks
best part of the game was the floating reef approach to the castle and the first real story reveals of the game. it was still promising then
this might have the most pointless evil council of bad guys ever
Only 50K sales. Nintendo's biggest flop outside of the Virtual Boy.
S E E T H E coomer, you lost
Coomers won. Only resetrannies hate on Xenoblade.
You won't be saying that when no more Xeno games are made. Enjoy watching your trash hack developer work in the BotW mines forever
(you)
>only 50K sales. Nintendo's biggest flop outside of the Virtual Boy
Not im not even an uuooh kinda of guy but why did this game have the most dicky?
Because Monolith is embracing their inner UOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH side
What is it about this dummy's game that makes people so mad? Is it the relative lack of small hats?
What to know why I'm so mad?
Because you say it's her game yet she's barely fricking in it
>lowest amount of scenes
>lowest amount of voiced lines
>zero progression for her
The did my girl dirty.
>All of her ""development"" moments are just ghondor and shania having a hissy fit and crying about "just b urself lmao" while she sits in the corner and does nothing
Pissed me off so much, especially her side-story
The quest with segiri was so adorabe, I wish sena got to shine like THAT more often
Shania a SHIT.
>t. ghondor
>95 hours in
>only just found out the game tells you how to activate ascension quests
Why would they hide this behind several menus instead of just putting it in the class selection?
Colony mu... e-girls.... shotas..... I hate being a pedo
do you guys use jp or eng voices? what do you think of them?
jp because it has better comedic timing
I played the first two chapters in english, it was fine i guess but when i met ethel i was overcome with disgust at the sight of a beautiful anime woman like her having a disgusting brit voice instead of a normal japanese one, so i switched to jap and never went back
And after xenoblade 2 i dont even want to imagine how this one's dub handles some of the emotional and yelling stuff that happens later in the game
There's a lot of incidental unsubbed dialogue that would go straight over my head, and I'm just too used to the bong voices by now
Like LANZ WANTS SOMETHIN A BIT MEATIAH would be replaced with whatever the frick ランズは肉付きの良い相手が欲しい means and I'd never know
Which part member or hero would give the best footjobs?
Definitely Eunie
Eunie
>xc is censored tra..
I'm still in shock after knowing at what point this OST track plays.
?t=109
The trailers sure loved pulling from the last three chapters huh?
the lost numbers are attacking!
Why can't I trigger the ascension quest for _Nia_? I got all the memories and talk about it at the rest spot, but it won't activate a quest and the topic is still there
Mio's ability with Nia's class is level 10?
Oh, didn't consider that
If you enjoy this game you enjoy pozzed troony Black person garbage and are the biggest cuck in the world
Is Noah the first Jrpg protagonist to chuck himself?
>Is Noah the first Jrpg protagonist to sneed himself?
I mean Noah x Mio is very similar to Fei x Elly but Lacan never acts like he's being cucked.
>Eunie nosebleed
>No Mioussy in heat
>No Sena flexing her guns
1/3, could be better, could be worse, still decent
Mio should be there on a background somewhere
>Lanz is the biggest, buffest party member
>Gets two tiny hebe waifs and adopted e-girl daughter
What did Takahashi mean by this?
I just started ch 4 with 40 hours
It somehow just occurred to me that Lanz is really considerate to kids because Joran's death affected him so deeply
This game would be so much better if they got rid of the Black person
Is there ever some kind of accessory merge thing or am i hauling a truckload of fricking garbage around?
You could always sell the shit you don't want
Even selling it is a pain because of the sheer volume
Gimme the lowdown about classes, do i wanna teach 'em all to every character, or is it fine to stick to the default roles (attacker for noah and sena and so on)
>Eunie trying not to say mudder for 10 minutes
>Colony Mu
I have a question about post game. I know you get two new heroes and who they are. But do their Hero quests play out like you have finished the game already?
No, their recruitment canonically happens before the final battle
Thanks for answering anon. That's a shame honestly. I feel like I'll just rush this final chapter and finish rest of my side quests in post game.
>Noah and Mio has been falling in love for a thousand years
>they STILL don't have enough
>he loves her so deeply he NTRs himself
>he's loved by 2 Mios at once in the process
>they want each other so badly Noah just fricks off to her world when the pussy princess is just 10 years old
This game has as much meme potential as 2 despite Noah only loving 1 girl
Absolutely nothing in the universe can get in the way of Noah's lust for cat minge.

name me a more forgettable villain
Jin. "I am sad" villains are the worst.
Low IQ
He really is. So is Malos actually. XB2 in general is daily low IQ.
>XBC2gays are crybabies
like fricking clockwork
homosexual
That guy from XC1, you know the one
The mutt High Entia supremacist, Dickson, Egil, or Zanza?
yeah
Honestly I'd say XC3's main villain is Aoinios itself.
Didn't even realise he was the big bad
>Eunie's talent art is just a regular healing art that other healing classes get
Not as bad as Sharla's, but what the frick were they thinking?
Why was this scene so erotic
because porn has rotted your brain
DlC heroes should be rex or shulk.
As a Bisexual man I'm here to give my expert opinion on Frickability
Taion > Lanz > Noah
Eunie > Sena > Mio
Incidentally the pairs line up too, which also ranks them in terms of threesomes.
Die homosexual
I think I'll keep living because it pisses you off more
Why don't streamers play this game?
i know that cohh played it.
i don't follow him much so i don't know if he's still at it.
Cohh still plays it and is probably only big streamer who even cares about the game.
i mean, i get it.
it's a pretty long game, if you count all the sidequests. no sane streamer would do this unless he is a turbo xenogay.
took me 100 hours to finish most shit before the final boss and i'm still missing some stuff.
I don't know how enel managed to beat the game so fast and grind to max level and max gems. I got the game physically three days after it leaked online and I still haven't finished all the sidequests with 130 hours. That homosexual didn't get the game early, he played the leaked copy, so what gives? Is he using cheats?
Streaming movies gets you banned from twitch.
>streamers
They probably don't want to deal with spoilers in the chat.
have a nice day
Seethe
It's fricking LONG that's why. Long games don't get good CCVs most of the time and streamers know this. That's why they stream shorter games most of the time if they're chasing views.
I can't muster the will to continue playing after the Isurd segment
I wanted her as a hero. Would've been cool to get a class based around ice powers.
buy the DLC, goy :^)
DLC
She has a pretty unique look so I wouldn't be surprised if she's DLC
She fought exactly like Taion, she's the one who taught him how to use Mando.
>Ice powers
>Crystal things on head
Theory?
they just have features of blades, that's all
I hate being a pedo
She reminds me of Finnel from Ar Tonelico.
Oh so I'm not the only one who thought that.
At least there's never any mentions of her shitting.
Xenoflop 3 will make Takahashi resign out of shame and be forced to prostitute out his wife to make enough money to live
Lan Lan
>even Noah joins in teasing him
Was Shania's accent supposed to be Australian or Irish? Every accent in the game just started blending together for me by the end.
I want to huff Miyabi's pits
Miyabi is great
Hi there Mio
>have her in the party
>go to a camp
>she's playing flutes with Mio in place of Noah

What's the best way to grind classes?
Fight unique monsters, elites, or lucky enemies that are no more than 5 levels below you, preferably higher
is he the most relatable character in the series?

Good luck with that she was built for BNC

Bros, give it to me straight, is Juniper a troony?
no you dumbass
>replying to troony obsessed morons
stop it
No, she's a she in pretty much every language except english. Seems her lines of dialogue weren't clear enough for the english tl. Thze solution was dumb.
post this on the wiki.
Bet you'd be banned for transphobia or other invented crap
>Woke Black folk all about cultural appropriation
>Uses english as if it were the word of God for reference
>For a japanese game
>It oppresses cultures whose languages are clearly gendered
Noah and Lanz have standard British accents, Eunie's is wienerney and Mio's is Welsh like Nia.
do gay people exist in the xenoblade 3 universe? what happens to them?
Shania was gay for ghondor
Shania was a fujo who drew slash fiction of her dad and Ghondor's grandpa.
the fake autralian accents in this game fricking hurt
