It’ll eventually come to ps near the end of its profitability cycle. There isn’t enough mexicans to turn a profit on gamepass alone, and the game will die an ignominious death on xbox. Tobb doesn’t want that. >but muh pc…
When will pc tards learn that what you say and think doesn’t matter. No one gives a rats ass what a bunch of basement dwelling, desk hunching coomer neets think about games. For a game to be a success, it must be popular with normal people. Normal people own phones and consoles. Shut in losers game on pc, and most decent people would like to forget you exist at all, not the least of which being games devs, as they try to make a nice game while chuds who are too fat to bathe scream Woke when a girl doesn’t have F cups and an anime face.
Tldr. Starfield comes to ps eventually, Tobb is pulling for it behind the scenes.
"30 FPS bad" is a meme by people who haven't played a game since the mid 2000s when low FPS actually made the game choppy, where today it tends to make it more cinematic
No 30 FPS is not a bad thing, I will be looking forward to the Switch port.
Ever since I became a Deckchud I've been way more open to 30fps. Ultimately it depends on the game. If I'm playing a twitch shooter with mouse and keyboard, I want as much FPS as possible. If I'm playing something on gamepad that doesn't need precise aiming in 0.0001 seconds it's not too bad.

it really depends on what the rate of input is by the player. twitch games or anything with mouse movement feels like ass on 30fps. rate of input on a controller is way slower so a less twitch based game at 30fps is totally fine imo. obviously 60fps above is better but 30 isn't unplayable with a reasonable rate of input
I have question
I played cyberpunk on my PC at 30 fps and didn't notice any input lag
I want to do the same to other games but I always get input lag when I lock the fps
In the modern day, yeah.
When Skyrim came out I played it on my 360 which ran at frickin 720p 30fps on a TV that still couldn’t properly render the menu font. Had to guess at what letters I was reading.
Less than a month from now I’ll be playing Starfield at 1440p 60+ FPS. Depending on how well it runs we might even be looking at 120+ FPS or 4k res.
Feels good man.
30FPS wouldn't be so bad if it didn't also come with a frickton of input lag. There's a reason why e-sports athletes(lol) play on low settings and have their FPS unlocked. Consoletards don't know this and genuinely think the difference between 30 and 60FPS is purely cosmetical.
The moment they announced it's 30 FPS with no performance option it was basically confirmed the game is gonna be an unfinished and buggy mess at launch. There is no reason not to have a 60 FPS mode by just lowering the resolution and graphic settings unless they were in a rush to finish it.
>graphics and resolution are literally the only things that can affect frame rate
moron. They could probably have it run at 120 FPS in 720p but it would still drop to near 30 in a lot of heavy scenarios/dense scenes because of shit tier console CPUs.
for this game 30fps probably won't be too bad. Yes, the drop is what sucks. you can run at 130 fps and if it drops to 100 frequently, you not gonna have a good time.
Just last year, it 60 fps was "the standard" for consoles and anything less was trash. But now that the same thing that always happens every generation with consoles has happened once again, now 30 FPS has always been fine.
umm Sony sisters? how do we respond?

Steam has 120 million active users (not total accounts, active users), more than any other online platform. Cope.
Only about a third or less of them met the spec requirements for starfield.
Spec requirements mean almost nothing.
games will "require" a 1060 and then run fine on deck.
That still doubles the Xboner XS player base.
go dilate Black person
>Is 30 FPS really a bad thing?
Yes, but it's not my problem since I'll be playing on PC
it would be a shame if todd tied physics to framerate, right?
Yea, good thing its not anymore
Elden Flop has it
Okay?
I have 100hrs in elden ring with flawless widescreen uncapping the frame rate so this smells like bs to me
No 30 FPS is not a bad thing, I will be looking forward to the Switch port.
It's gonna be unplayable in PC bruh.
I doubt it

For deck, i use 40.
I aim for 40, but if the game is a battery hog I will give 30 a go.
Im the kinda guy that would rather paly a shorter time than go to 30, but i play short sessions anyways, so it's obvious why.

Locked 60fps
>locked 30fps
Kekity kek.
Every snoys know you don't need no game anyway. Having the console is enough. It's a beautiful center piece for the living room, makes people talk.
it's not bad but it's not good
its unplayable

>and it doesn't drop hard
it's a bethesda game
Not being able to play a game at 30fps is a surefire sign of a zoomer.
No it isn't, zoomers grew up playing cinematic trash at 30fps, older games were more likely to be 60.

What the frick lol why 30fps? they couldn't even get 60?? why can't I tune down my series x to 2k or 1080p and get 60fps?
It's either CPU bottleneck or game logic is broken.
my expectations were already low but now im pre-emptively disappointed
Locked 30 with no drops > inconsistent fluctuation between 40-60 constantly

Nah. Controllers are fine with 30 fps
it's only PC gays who made a fuss about it because their input doesn't bode well with it
Just last year, it 60 fps was "the standard" for consoles and anything less was trash. But now that the same thing that always happens every generation with consoles has happened once again, now 30 FPS has always been fine.
Consolegays are pathetic.
It's only okay when Nintendo does it.
>Is 30 FPS really a bad thing
Yeah it's pretty fricking bad in a modern game, like inexcusably bad
