i played it a few months ago and it's really good.
the only thing i didn't like was that the maps are cluttered with stupid containers filled with trash and my ocd compelled me to click on all of them.

I think i still prefer conquistador even though it's a far jankier game, it had a unique charm to it
a proper shieldwall of three tanks completely dunks on every combat encounter

It cost a turn to prep, but yeah. I got that off so many times as a viking monk. I grabbed a motherfricker and let my witch girlfriend finish them off.
From what I recall Archers were insanely busted around release but then they got nerfed pretty hard, they're still pretty strong.
They were medieval snipers. One insane tactic I had was to use Nefja's opportunity hit remover to let Ketil 360 noscope a b***h he was right next to for a guranteed crit

I honestly don’t know. I have other reviews that are less on topic or with actual curse words but this is the only one that got censored. I don’t think I can appeal either.

It's extremely mediocre. Get it only if you REALLY have no other games to play.

they haven't given a firm release date but supposedly still on course for a 2021 release
There's not even four months left in the year. If the release date hasn't been announced yet, I'd be very doubtful of it coming out this year. Fricking everything gets delayed now. 90% of the games on my Steam wishlist that were supposed to come out this year have been delayed into 2022.

if i played again i would go maximum dialogue build, 10 sense + 10 perception support archer. not sure how interesting the build would be given how OP archers get at higher levels
Are there any segments where you have to fight alone?
There's a duel near the very beginning. If you have deathblow and rebuke upgraded to cause knockdown, it's an instant win.
The only thing that sucks about that is you lose out on excaliber since you're too weak to hold the sword.

Guys, I need your help urgently. There's utterly no reason for a monk to not use a shield, right? I'm not missing anything?
Well, you can't use your fist alongside a shield IIRC. Most of what you'll be doing is grappling and finishing off opponents who've gotten shield hooked.
