fin fin! He's a real computer creature from the planet Teo! You could become a contactee by buying the old computer game and talk to him using your mic! Also they made songs based off of him!
I helped out at one of the cebit expos in Sydney one year. Had to show people the wonder that is fin fin. We bonded and then I forgot his name and could never find out if he ever truly existed.
Is Fin Fin a Norn? Then no. Was always more of a Creatures guy, although I did give Fin Fin a spin back in the day I think. Miss this genre (life sims / virtual pets) as a whole a lot though. Blessed thread.
You're welcome. I think Creatures 2 is the comfiest. Creatures 3 with the Docking Station (online enabling, probably dead now) add-on isn't half bad either, but the artstyle isn't nearly as magical.
PS. Fun fact: back in the day some guy made a webpage dedicated to torturing and killing Norns in-game in various creative ways. People absolutely lost their shit, think he got actual death threats because of it. That's how much people bonded with virtual creatures. And that was, what, like twenty five years ago?
Albian Years has Creatures 1 and 2, can't recommend 2 enough. Exodus is Creatures 3 + the add-on (probably the extra races/genes added with it, don't think online's still active, could be wrong though), not a bad choice either, very fun game as well. I'd have to check whether online is still somehow active, if yes, I'd probably reinstall it myself - kek. Very fun gimmick with sending your creatures off to faraway places, other players Norns visiting your world, breeding etc. Creatures 2 is amazing as a single-player game, Creatures 3 was more of a multiplayer experience I think. But I may be jaded as well because again I simply adore the artstyle of Creatures 2, everything is very pastel-like. Creatures Village is a compilation of literal kids games - you'd find it boring.
yes. fin fin is the only one who truly understands me
you scared fin fin!
Looks like a dolphin, so you'd probably get raped by Fin Fin in a cave or something.
Nope. Not a friend at all.
fin fin is a creature that resembles a dolphin and a bird who lives on Teo the Magic Planet. He's a real computer creature!
what the frick even is this??!!
