Also you should get a Dualsense or a Switch Pro controller for the gyro, OP. Unless you never plan on emulating a Switch, Wii U, or PS4 game.

For the original Wii? You can set it up to act as a Wiimote so like...every game. There's a lot of Wii U games(including BotW, Mario 3D World, Starfox, Captain Toad, Pikmin 3, Game & Wario, etc) that make use of the gyro too. The PS4 has Gravity Rush 1 and 2 that use it among some others.

Paddles/back buttons do much much more to you playing a game than fancy haptic feedback that you probably turn off after half an hour.

PS4 controller's still the best thing I've used on the PC, 360 pad's a good second choice. Haptic's a fun thing to play around with, I've not grown bored of it yet, but I don't own any games on PC that use it, so I can't say much about it.
you have to plug it in to enable haptic feedback, otherwise you can use DS4 to make it work like a xbox controller with normal vibration.
I am using it as my major controller, because aiming with the gyroscopter ist fun.
Kind of is, but adaptive trigger is kind immersive.
Still, Dualsense is much better built than Xcrap. Xcrap feels like chinese shit.
The black part on the sense feels paper thin I I'm scared il poke a hole in it.
It creeks and the sticks make noise when you do left right the dpad feels more solid on the right then the left part.
Did you buy a chinese knock off off Amazon or something? Feels very solid here, though the PS4 design feels a bit better
