Pico 4 is better, unless you really want to play oculus standalone exclusives
pico is spyware, like tiktok
you don't even need to login anywhere, can sideload apks with no issue, and can just block access of it to the internet completely if you just want to run PCVR. Bootloader is even unlocked lol.
While Zucced will not work without internet connection account and your credit card and "develeopers account" is needed to play "unaproved" games/mods/sideload apks.
Zucc shills should be shot
quest is also spyware. it depends on where you want to send video capture of jacking off to vr porn, zuck or ccp
pico lets you use your headset offline and sideload anything
quest doesn't
As opposed to Zuck's stuff?
Is that a Quest 2? The Quest 3 is coming out next month, it should have noticeably better image clarity/performance
Doesn't look like sword art online vr so that's a no from me, dawg
That's never going to happen in your lifetime.
> A helmet that can shut off your motor functions and sends your consciousness to a different reality.
If this ever happened, the government will not allow us to use it.
Would you really trust an electronic device to put you into a vegetative state and force hallucinations into your brain?
You idiots were scared shitless of a vaccine but will risk frying your brain just so you don't have to go outside.
Where the frick is the deckard?
>having expectations for valve to deliver products in a timely manner
Yeah its super cheap now so i would say its worth it. Don't bother with oculus store and play everything off steam or torrents, you don't need beefy PC either. You can always resell it.
Yes, but just buy the Quest 3
Everything else is either trash, or not worth the price for the amount of VR content on the market.
Also, don’t listen to anyone recommending to wait for deckard. Waiting on Valve for anything is a nightmare.
its worth it but you'll either love VR or think its a fad and not bother with it in the long term
really depends on what you want out of it
gamer time
this one jav vr video has made it one of my best purchases of 2021
its worth it for JAV alone
the biggest problems are screens with shitty colors,
pic related makes it worth it
Fricks that?
darkdreamsvr
the guy collaborates with R34 artists and renders their blender animations in 3D
he remastered a lot of LazyProcrastinator's stuff in 4K 60fps for VR viewing
And his VR renders actually look good in VR unlike the ones from hentaiVR, they always have shit quality and improper depth.
Thanks for your suggestions anons, i tought the Quest was alredy hacked or something so i was wondering about that too, but i might just wait for the quest 3, how costy will it be?
you could get the Pico 4, it's already hacked beyond belief, literally every game from the store can be installed on it
even random andoid games work
Its really nice piece of tech, i was impressed but ....
there are no games
its like VR version of ps3
you will play hl alyx, lone echo, superhot, waggle abit in beat saber, try vr chat and few indie games like red matter and contractors or something and thats it, 6 months and you will be out of stuff to play
you then either decide to larp as a furry in VR chat, or throw it on the shelf and never pick it up again
VR problem isnt the tech, the teach is already here, its the lack of any games
anyway wait for quest 3, its smaller, Quest 2 needs a custom strap to be useful
I think now that people are putting more effort into VR conversion, it'll start picking up speed as people get more practiced at turning flat games into VR titles.
Dolphin, UE5, the various RE games, unity, etc.
I'm just waiting for a proper VR DE to come out.
I can't get to a range because I don't have any money for 22. I've been using VR for practice with a custom thing I rigged up. It is good if you have no access to firearms.
shooting in VR is nothing like shooting in real life
nothing translates to your range performance
No form of VR is worth it at the time, it's just a type of technology that is neat to look and try, but has no real worthwhile application at the moment. It is past infancy at least, but it's still very much a kind of technology that requires troubleshoot and patience to make work right in it's current form, not to mention that most of the content that covers VR is also barely making progress.
In it's current state VR is like PS4 was in the day, it looks neat but it only has 1 game worth a damn.
Your view of VR gaming is a few years behind, you don't have to tweak anything nowadays and the games just work.
