No, you are still going to be dogshit in whatever casual matchmaking zoomer garbage you play.
you don't want your eyes focused on a point 5 cms away from the eye for hour on end, it may give you lazy eye.

Given the lenses, it's irrelevant that the screen is that close. Your eyes still focus far. The problem, if there's any, is that the focus is uniform regardless of the objects' distance from you in the stimulated 3D space, meaning your eyes don't practice focusing.
If you have a few grand laying around then yeah. Otherwise you could wait a few more years for the prices to drop. On top of that, the burn-ins will be less common in the future as the technology progresses. The difference won't blow you away, however.

>The difference won't blow you away, however.
Why do they say it makes a lot of difference then!
I have the CX one, it's the best shit I ever bought. The input lag is very manageable (comparable to older PC monitors) and the image is too fricking good.
If you base your spendings on single online posts on Ganker you should straight up have a nice day.
I'd tell you you are braindead but that was evident from your posting style already.

But also this. Do your research, or at least look at the TV irl before buying it. Shit's expensive.
It's the equivalent of Plasma screens 15 years ago. Better brightness, better blacks, no motion artifacts, basically way better image quality in every regard. But you have to deal with image retention, so while it is good for TV and gaming (assuming you mix up games) it's not good as a general productivity monitor.
I still have my 15 year old plasma though (one of the last god tier Vieras), which is still on par with everything except the high end OLEDs, so I have no incentive to buy a new TV as I'm not using 4k.

But i don't play those.

If you're a retired grandpa then yeah. 360hz is the bare minimum for competitive games. Those monitors will probably get 360hz in 8 years or so.
I don't play competitive games

You sure your games run in 360 FPS anon?
miniled is half baked garbage with crazy blooming.

Is lg c3 good?

Thanks, bro. I'll buy the c3.

Is 42" so big for desktop?
It is imo, unless you sit like a meter away. This in photo is a 48 though. I don't use it as a monitor and mostly play on a couch with the controller.
How long have you been using it? Is there any burn in ?
Anything beyond 27" to 32" you might as well sit on the couch.
Yes. 32" is the limit of what is comfortable.
What do i do then? Just buy a normal 4k/144hz IPS monitor or ultrawide OLED?
If you want an HDR that doesn't suck, then yes. But never buy anything from alienware.

Yes I think so, but my opinion is that a good screen is more important than a top-end GPU.
