it's outdated. but if you can look past that is ight.
I do suggest you watch some YouTube videos before you get in to see if it's really something you'd like. I was sold on the lion with a goat head and snake tail boss fight. exploring caves looks cooler than it actually is. The companion system is clever. Expect a lot of coomer shit tho.
You were fooled by Ganker the game is shit and I will explain why:
>No indication of where roads lead >No hint to what enemies are weak to >No hint of when enemies are alone or in groups >No warning to avoid status effects >No clue to which items are masterworks
at this point i just think that replies that "fall" for it are also just baiting, maybe it has even gone as far as the posts calling them out being bait too.
>look a little awkward when doing any kind of exaggerated facial expression.
Still upset at myself for restarting the game like 4 times trying to edit my character so he doesn't look moronic when he get his heart rip out. Took me far too long to learn that it will look bad in that scene no matter what you do.
Depending in what you are looking for in a game.
The combat is great, but it takes time to get used to it and find what class you want to use most of the time.
Done full playthroughs with both, either work. KB+M you should just rebind some keys to your liking. Mouse has superior bow aiming, but controller has superior menu navigation.
bow is so damn OP even a toddler can beat the game at the highest difficulty with no sweat.
also since the stats and leveling mechanic are never fully explained ingame, if you've been playing fighter or warrior then you want to switch to mystic knight, enjoy your super low damage.
It not just the bow, hard mode is ironically the easy mode of the game. So much gold get dropped by enemies that you can literally buy everything you could ever want. Try playing on normal from a fresh save. Enemies will hurt less but the game overall is a lot harder when you can't just buy out the whole market. Also caring about what get leveled will ruin your own fun unless you enjoy min-maxing. Endgame armor make any stats you get from leveling pointless in comparison.
Another thing that struck me. Is that the dub is really fricking good. I would say that 90% of the dialogues were made with care and almost no one phoney it their performance.
I'm not american, and I always fricking cringe at american dubs, I don't know why they are always so fricking bad. Which is weird to me, because when I play a game made in USA, the voice acting is good as well.
Assuming you know what the word dogma means the Dragon's dogma is simply looking for a person with a good character and the will to survive. Deep lore shit is that the dragon was basically summoned by the universe's version of god to find a replacement for themselves. The universe exist in a cycling loop where the god create a dragon who create an arisen then if he fail the test then he replace the dragon but if he is successful he replace the god. JRPG version cycle of life basically. There is a lot more to it than that with a shit ton of other characters being effected by it. Pawns and even other arisens existing in the game with their own stories.
It's probably one of the most overrated Ganker games ever talked about. This shit put me to sleep.
It's great fun, just don't listen to the minmax autists, and don't quit before you even reach the city like these guys did
it's not my fault the escort mission sucks ass
No but it's your fault you forgot the chimera fight at the start of the game, and gave up before you got to more big monsters
Frick No. I bought it on Switch because Ganker wouldn't shut the frick up about it and it was only $5. It was a snooze fest
t. didn't kick the ox
it's a masterwork

I don't know how people defend this game.
Everything you listed is a good thing
>he didn't get it

When everything is bait nothing is.
Yea, solo runs sucks.
Can't go wrong.
I played a demo before release & hate it. Then several years later bought it for cheap to try it again & fell in love with it.
Peak unfinished, cucked of its development game
It's amazing
The start is a bit slow but once you get into it it's really fun.
No but it's one of my favorite games of all time.
Can you make qts in this game? I heard you can but I wanted to confirm.
yeah the character creation is solid
It's interesting. I wouldn't call it good, but it has a lot of ambition and does a lot of things I've never seen in a game.
Yes, that's in fact the only way you can get your pawn to be popular.
yes, it's got a great character creator.
The qtest
Yeah I usually make a brown tomboy pawn. The character creator is very detailed, you can basically go for any aesthetic you want.
>Can you make qts in this game?
Yeah but they'll always look a little awkward when doing any kind of exaggerated facial expression.

It has everything I could want out of a fantasy action game and still ends up being boring and monotonous.
It unironically gets good after ~2 hours, once you past the god awful cart babysitting quest (which is a pleb filter).

Cun gameplay, shit mains story.
KB + M or controller?
Solid. I don't use controllers.
Done full playthroughs with both, either work. KB+M you should just rebind some keys to your liking. Mouse has superior bow aiming, but controller has superior menu navigation.
It was made for controllers but it has surprisingly solid KB+M support, you can do either or.
The daggers is objectively the best melee weapon.

>still spreading muh stat min maxing myth
Equip a better weapon and the strength/magick augments, morono.
Wow your min-maxing shaved down a 12 second kill to 10 seconds, impressive.

IT BEARS THE HEAD OF A wiener
The sight of men excites it!
>haha, its so small, tis not a threat to us!
>two seconds later
>NO! THEY HOLD THE ADVANTAGE!
What is the dragon's dogma?
the pawns we hired along the way
Probably the Seneschals system for selecting new Arisen.

I just hope they get rid of dragon heart weak spots in the sequel that shit was pure bullshit especially on the ur dragon.
The weakpoint were fine. The camera movement was not.
unironically looks like shit
Just quit trying to make yourself in the character creation then.
it's got a comfy world, charming characters and fun gameplay
It’s great if your not a mouth breathing moron like most of this thread.
I liked it. the thing about dragons dogma was that it was hated and loved when it came out. there's a 50% chance you'll like it or hate it.
