Is this any good? It's crazy expensive which either means everyone wants it because it's great, or nobody bought it because it sucks.

Too bad.
It's not good. Typical awful PS1 controls and the gameplay sucks. Just download a rom somewhere, you will realize right away because the first thing you must do is enter a dozen rooms and then catch cats in them or some shit
>>Cool gameplay (+1)
lol
The controls are the best part tendie.
>The controls are the best part tendie.
>no analog
>camera tracking is either so fast that you will immediately start running in circles if tilting the stick left/right or so slow you won't see where you're going
I know PS1 fanboy standards are low but stfu please
>no analog
Not him but you're a little b***h. Not defending this furgay game either.
It's a 1999 game, it has no excuse whatsoever
Quadroon emulater zoomer.
No one asked to see your fat furry hands. Go catch cats but don't frick em again
Low iq emugroid, you have to press the button labeled Analog on your controller. You do have the correct controller, right? The game is fully analog, you'd know this if you played it.
You can technically use the control sticks but it isn't true analog support, unlike for example Parasite Eve. They just act like the d-pad.
>determining obesity from 1/10th of a palm
You must speak from experience...
But it does have analog support, you greasy aspie.

i wouldn't even mind talking animals but it's legit your average deviantart furgay art

Think you meant +4 buddy
blessed janny
cringe janny
idk why anthros piss some people off so much. Nobody b***hed about the concept in the 90's when Sonic and Crash were new
They heard that Ganker hates furries and saw a "yiff in hell furgay" meme from 2006 and think they need to parrot it to fit in.
Because furries overtook anthros completely. Anthro basically equalls furry today in the minds of a lot of people.
I agree
Frick Mega Man X
You know this forced meme is never gonna work, right, MM-hating troony?
What do trans people have to do with it?
>cool gamplay
The gameplay is fricking ass. Walking around sucks, platforming sucks, combat sucks. It's a le PS1 Atlas game, it has furries, and it's fairly rare which is why it's so expensive.
Furry didn't existed really back then. Your brain is just degenerate
lmao sure kid
go tell osamu tezuka and the rat erotica sickos from the early 90s about that shit
True, but I can also say they were far less omnipresent and nobody thought about furries when they've, I dunno, played Altered Beast or watched The Secret Of NIMH.
Everybody just saw cute/cool animal people on the screen.
NTA.
Cute short platformer. I'm pretty sure I've finished it in one, maybe two evenings. Nothing special, but nothing particulary bad about it either.
Given the wide range of opinions in the thread, it really would be the best way to just download it and try it out.
I can't give an opinion until one of my favorite youtubers does a review. :/
And they can't make a video until they copy opinions from here. We're stuck in a chicken-and-egg problem.
It's very good and the physics of movement are really fun. The jetpack sequences feel incredible. Cool world and cute story too. Good pacing too with a variety of new situations.
I had this as a kid because we were broke as frick and it was in a bargain bin. It was one of the few games that me and my sister actually finished. Very fun for us as young kids. I'd recommend trying it up until the first boss fight, and if it doesn't click then you can drop it. Shouldn't take long at all.
It gets better later on, but overall isn't long or difficult to beat. What you see is what you get with this one. I think it's sort of a hidden gem, if only for how unique it is. I don't see how anyone could outright dislike it unless they get filtered by the controls.
There's also a few spiritual successors like Solatorobo and the Fuga series that might interest you as well. From what I hear they're very different gameplay-wise, but are set in the same universe. Steampunk mecha furries, an autistic wet dream.
Agree entirely
>Fun cute little game, I liked it quite a lot. Definitely something I would have replayed over and over if I'd had it as a kid.
He gets it
It's only about $350. That's not too bad.
What do you mean? It's free just download it
The controls are really uniquely weird.
Play the game
>It's crazy expensive which either means everyone wants it because it's great, or nobody bought it because it sucks.
It's expansive because it has the word 'Atlus' on the cover.
Mega Man Legends with furros. I remember the devs of this (who also did Solatorobo) wanted to revive Legends 3 but Capcom said no.
My autism prevents me from playing this since there's no single best version of the game.
There's only one version.
It's furry Mega Man Legends, and MML is frequently meme'd as a bad game on /vr/, so just add furries to it and of course you're gonna get even less positive results here.
I like MML, does it have anything over MML?
I wouldn’t say it has anything over MML but it’s quite similar to it. If you like one you’ll probably like the other. Set your expectations like one notch below MML, Tail Concerto isnt quite on par but it’s certainly still a good time.
I played it for the first time about six months ago. Fun cute little game, I liked it quite a lot. Definitely something I would have replayed over and over if I'd had it as a kid.
The floating islands that you traverse with the jetpack were the most fun part of the game.
Controls got a little frustrating in one or two parts but overall I still liked how the game felt when moving around, your character is in a mech so the movement is even contextualized in-world. The levels felt designed around your movement so nothing was really unfair. As long as you're willing to adapt to something that doesn't play like Mario you should have fun if you like fifth gen platformer adventure games.
Considering the jap version is like 3 yen(from a non grifter source), it's just that the english copy was underproduced like many localized Atlus games of the era.
It's fine. It's basically a mech game where you use said mech to move boxes/other such jobs and also use it to beat up other mechs usually controlled by the cat people.
It's main draw is that it's a kemono game made by the kings of kemo lovers Cyberconnect2. All their license game stuff is so they can fund their furry focused games whenever they can release them.
It's a short game, just download and try it out.

Highly recommend you to play Solatorobo instead.
It's a really wonky clunky furry game with mediocre gameplay and controls.
But it gets a massive over-recommendation on here because it has "low poly mega man legends" style art.
No it’s very bad.
>It's crazy expensive which either means everyone wants it because it's great, or nobody bought it because it sucks.
Nobody bought it because the publisher Atlus liked to announce releases by whispering the title in pig-latin to themselves. And it's a frickin weirdo weeb game.
