Hades is impressive in the sense that every single female character was specifically designed to look as sexually unappealing as possible, even the naked goddess of love.
I’m gonna give the artist the benefit of the doubt and assume they just draw hot guys. It might seem easy to just draw the other gender but a lot of the landmarks and features you just habitually start to draw come through regardless.
The girls don’t look intentionally ugly, they’re just overly masculine which could just be chalked up to the artist being bad at girls but good at guys
the artist is most likely a homosexual
coral island also had a homosexual artist and his female art is repulsive, to hide their complete lack of talent homosexual artists dress up their work in buzzwords
Females on the game look as unattractive as humanly possible but to be completely fair, at leas the game has interesting color palettes going for it so it's at least visually interesting when it comes to the characters.
But yeah, only artemis was good. And Persephone was cute for a hag.
If her skin markings would look natural, like tree bark instead of tats, it would be perfect. As it is, 7/10, mild case of California brainrot.
Nyx and Artemis are hot. But yeah, kind of correct. Especially meg. Even if the chain smoker voice wouldn't ruin her instantly, the linebreaker shoulders would.

Huh. Curious taste.

She sounds like a grandma who smokes 6 packs a day is trying to put on a "sexy" voice. That one egyptian granny from overwatch sounds more pleasant than her. To each their own I suppose.
There's just no way it wasn't intentional by the artist, whether subconsciously due to their sexual preference, or consciously due to their political views. Every single girl is as unsexualized, and masculine as they can possibly make them without it turning into parody. While every single guy runs the gamut of attractive male archetypes both to homosexuals and women. You have pretty boys, emo boys, bara, classic Mr. universe muscular guy, and every single one is conventionally masculine, tall, with great hair, and most of them are in outfits that go out of their way to show their abs, or are outright shirtless. It's very obviously agenda driven, merely by how conventionally attractive the men are. They don't gave those weird unsexed traits like the women do.
I wouldn't say it's necessarily agenda driven.
You'd be stupid to say the ideal male form wasn't put on a pedestal waaaaay more than the female in ancient Greece.
Could just be the artist trying to stick to that, too. Hanlon's razor and all
No, the style and linework scream fujo oriented woman. Even if whoever this is wasn't trying to make characters unattractive on purpose, they simply wouldn't be able to.
Why does this board love it so much to get angry at made up scenarios in their head and proudly display their easily disproven delusions on the internet?
there's characters with huge boobs and characters with wide hips yet you find always something new to nitpick, despite this just proving that even the female's designs are well varied instead of being all the same perfect blowup sexdoll proportions.
I don't think you'll get much more reactions out of this even when trying so desperately.
why are you so insistent on seeking the approval of "blowup sexdoll" lovers on this site then?
westoid shills really are just pick up artists trying to neg their way to a sale lmao

why are you making up even more stuff
seek approval? did you get hit on your head or are you just a moron?
Holy mother of moronic questions.
First off: those acorns are a decoration, so whether the tree that grows out of her head produces acorns is irrelevant.
Secondly, why would you question whether "that tree" can produce acorns if you can't even identify it?
Thirdly, "that tree" is an oak, which indeed does produce acorns.
Is that supposed to be a gotcha? Because if anything you're making my case. The other characters indeed don't wear ovaries and sperm as decoration (the correct equivalent would be a fetus, but I'll let that slide off your extremely smooth brain), so why would you assume that the acorns must be a product of her body, as if to confirm an established rule?
I got sort of a eunuch-feel from him, which would make sense with a court musician since it would make his voice a lot softer and more melodic for his performances. Don't think that was the intent, but it fit all the same

I looked into it out of curiosity, and apparently eunuchs are castrated after puberty, while castrato singers naturally got snipped before. Castrato also didn't really become a thing until the 16th century, so it wouldn't make any sense in ancient Greece. But they supposedly grow taller than normal men because of how the lack of testosterone affects their bones, and Orpheus had a somewhat lanky design, so it could still be an inspiration
Orpheus is great. He literally went to hell and almost succeeded in freeing his love from the underworld, only to frick up at the last step, so it makes sense for him to sound very sorrowful. Also the same voice as Zagreus

Those are some big nuts
Broccoli lady
Yeah she cute and I like buying her stuff
looks american so no
It was great character design right up until she started talking.

Meanwhile many male character are hot as frick.

The artist is a straight woman.
Feminists are not straight.
Women cant be straight because they like men, and liking men is GAY
>straight
Doubt.
Leftists are homosexuals, so that's not surprising
Athena was pretty cute
lmao
Wait that thing is not female is it

"GREEK GODS AREN'T REAL CHUD SO SKIN COLOR SHOULDN'T MATTER!"
the devs actually said this
you mean Artemis
Ah yeah whoops meant Artemis
If her skin markings would look natural, like tree bark instead of tats, it would be perfect. As it is, 7/10, mild case of california brainrot.
Nyx and Artemis are hot. But yeah, kind of correct. Especially meg. Even if the chain smoker voice wouldn't ruin her instantly, the linebreaker shoulders would.
Huh. Curious taste.
Meg's voice is hot as frick you giga gaygtron.
Agreed, that other anon is a gay.
She sounds like a grandma who smokes 6 packs a day is trying to put on a "sexy" voice. That one egyptian granny from overwatch sounds more pleasant than her. To each their own I suppose.
have a nice day with your trashy taste
so on scale from 1 to 10 how gay are you?
I'd say a high 9 at least, maybe even 10.
Even in that pic her clothes are hiding her linebacker shoulders.
nyx/meg/aphrodite are conventionally attractive
this post is very homosexual coded

Call me naive, but I never noticed they were ugly. They looked fine to me. Nyx and Fury are hot btw
Oops, I meant Meg
Show me a marble sculpture of a big titty goth gf from ancient times.
No. She looks like I'd hate her.
Alecto > Meg
No, the style and linework scream fujo oriented woman. Even if whoever this is wasn't trying to make characters unattractive on purpose, they simply wouldn't be able to.
Best girl.
>Let's make it so the only cute girl doesnt have a body so evil men can't rape her in their wicked fantasy
she has a mouth and built in straps, what are you on about
You know that's what they were thinking
Why does this board love it so much to get angry at made up scenarios in their head and proudly display their easily disproven delusions on the internet?
is this supposed to be a woman?

Nope, sorry, unattractive. Better luck next time.
>blowup sexdoll
there's that buzzphrase again
i unironically think its a marketer spewing moronic opinions to bait reactions and drumming up hype for the new hades game
ill pirate it marketer-kun!
why are you so insistent on seeking the approval of "blowup sexdoll" lovers on this site then?
westoid shills really are just pick up artists trying to neg their way to a sale lmao

Litterally a boy no breasts no hips nothing
Wow, that's a lot uglier than how she looks in-game. I guess the pose hides her shit proportions.
if she had a body you know she'd have shoulders larger than the MC
Either one of them, honestly
I actually like the design of the gods, they all feel sort of inhuman or otherworldly. I think it fits. Never cared much for the actual game, though
>Best girl.
She's trash and I never gave her attention in any of my playthroughs
shes an african tree so it makes sense but it seems over designed. does that tree even produce acorns?
Holy mother of moronic questions.

>so why would you assume that the acorns must be a product of her body
so she isn't an oak that produces acorn?
I'll pretend you're just doing it on purpose.
You don't have to pretend, you are fricking moronic and can't even follow a simple conversation.
I applaud your commitment to the bit.
no
It instantly tells you what this character is like, so yes, it is a good character design.
>Black tree with elf ears and hoop rings
which model did you use to generate this?
I would say her pose is good. All the character portraits are excellent and dynamic
What's the deal with the court musician being a guy/mate? I'm not hating but doesn't it have a female voice? Or do my old ears deceive me
I got sort of a eunuch-feel from him, which would make sense with a court musician since it would make his voice a lot softer and more melodic for his performances. Don't think that was the intent, but it fit all the same
He's a spiritual troon, has the soul of a woman so that's what he is in the afterlife
I looked into it out of curiosity, and apparently eunuchs are castrated after puberty, while castrato singers naturally got snipped before. https://www.classicfm.com/discover-music/what-is-a-castrato/
wouldn't even be surprised if the homosexuals working on this just inserted their own castration fetish
Orpheus is great. He literally went to hell and almost succeeded in freeing his love from the underworld, only to frick up at the last step, so it makes sense for him to sound very sorrowful. Also the same voice as Zagreus

Now this is moronic
Oh shit! That's awesome
Makes me think about how Bender also voices Wakka
Ew no.
>actual discussion about character design ITT
?
Would.
