I feel like they saw what ER did with its legacy dungeons and they didnt even have half of what ER had on offer. I bet originally it would be 4 dungeons max and now theyve delayed it to add more possibly. Cant imagine any other reason they delayed it after ER when theyre so similar except in the legacy dungeon regard.
>advertise first game all around "seeing distant locations that look interesting, and figuring out how to get there" >second game is just "locations you've already been, plus some floating genshin domains"
Man.
Looks like a low effort reskin. Pretty much a botw expansion/dlc. I liked botw plenty but don't have any desire to replay it and by the time I did beat the game it was because I had already put so much time in. Idk, guess keeping hopes low to avoid disappointment.
no, unless you are disappointed in botw
if they tried to hit their deadline at all costs it would be like p*k*mo* S&S
every zelda has missed its deadline since alttp so i take that as a sign that nintendo is just being autistic about making sure a wierd mechanic enveloping 90% of the game (teleporting through the floor) doesn't crash or make exploits
its taken so long it basically has to be disappointing at this point. a quick turn around 2 maybe 3 years after botw release a direct sequel with dungeons and real bosses, enemy variety, fix weapon breaking/add back key items etc... would have been fine and everyone would have thought it was great. instead having to wait 6 years and no guarantee it will even have what it should have had in a short development time easy cash grab experience (dungeons/enemies/bosses/item fix), I cant imagine it wont be disappointing. to live up to expectations its going to have to at this point go beyond what people want let alone what we expect and I havent seen a zelda game do that since OoT. Either its the best game ever or it will be disappointing it took this long to add in some stuff they could have done in a coupe years, and if they dont and go some wild weird direction with heavy focus on the sky or some shit for no good reason, i cant imagine anyone wants to play botw weapon breaking simulator again at this point.
I dunno. BotW felt like the first portion of a Zelda game before the big tipping point (entering dark world, pulling master sword), so one would expect this one to be the adult link section of BotW overall.
A rushed game is bad. A very delayed game will probably suck too.
We literally don't know anything about the game
It's not showing much of anything.
I hope it isn't literally BotW 2 but just means they will use a similar open world format.
All the gameplay footage just shows it's BotW with floating islands.
zelda games are more often good than bad so im not worried
Its karma for all the shitposters who still to this day will not accept legitimate criticsm about the first game.
>Breath of the Wild
yeah i'd say that's a red flag for disappointment
If they don't return to classic dungeons I won't buy it at all, but I bet they will. Only reason BotW wasn't a perfect game

The best Zelda games? The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
It will only work if there's a lot of zelda ass.
Holy transmoly that's so heckin wholesome coomerbro!

It will either be GOTY or a massive disappointment.
I think it is going to be a disappointment. nuZelda team can't into combat/gameplay
Yes, because it was announced three fricking years ago and we've seen one minute and thirty seconds of actual footage.
The only red flags is that it's not showing any flags at all yet.
They've shown frickall.

Yes. The reused map is a huge red flag, there's no point other than laziness: there will be no discovery to be had on it.
