Good game
Not for me
Less gamey which as it turns out is not a good thing
Examples of gamey shit are >Adding in dodges in 3 >Parries in 4
Gameiness is good for fun
Just look at dead space
Amazing physics and graphics. The police station and lower levels where great. By the time I got into the sewers it felt like the level design fell off and I never finished It. Also the rng damage ruins replayability. RE4R is way better.
Dead space is an arid repetitive experience. Which is arguably the right choice for the location but it isn't fun to play after a while.
Adding gamey things for the sake it or to make your game look "complex" with no regard of cohesion or evolving the mechanics is the definition of bad game design. See RE4 DEmake and compare it mechanically with the original if you want to see what I'm talking about.
in spite of the issues you may have with it one of the main takeaways from re2 remake was route running in an a puzzlebox being good, inventory management being good, people liking the tactical survivor horror elements. you can say the actual execution of that was bad or a fraud, but I don't see how you can be so hyperbolic about it damaging the franchise in light of that fact.
I think it's a very faithful and well produced remake, however I still prefer the old fixed camera, tank control and just the general slower gameplay which makes to take in the atmosphere more. So for me, the original is still better.
I think it's a great game in isolation but as a remake? Mixed feelings overall.
One of the benefits of doing a remake of a game is that you can take aspects that weren't fully realised and improve them, RE2 being a great example because zapping system didn't amount to much and the routes didn't line up properly. But the remake made this is even worse so even though there's been a RE2 remake I'm still left with that feeling of "RE2 could use a remake".
The levels and enemies don't translates well into a game with modern realistic graphics. In the original my brain just accepted the fact that monsters couldn't chase you through doors because of the abstract(?) way doors worked. In a more realistic 3D space it makes no sense that enemies like Lickers can't chase chase you through door or Mr X can't enter puzzle rooms/safe rooms, and the hyper realistic graphics draws attention to these quirks.
What type of mental illness makes you dedicate so much time and energy to things you ‘hate’? You decided to hate it, plain and simple, it could have been the greatest game put to disc, but if you set you mind to not enjoying it you won’t. And all to be ‘unique’ on the internet. Incredibly sad.
It's alright

Trump is not going to win
What does forced(but NOT brutal) sodomy with sherry have to do with trump?
trump is winning tho?
If winning puts you 83.3 mil in the hole, go ahead and count me out.

One of the best games of all time.
Irredeemable garbage.
This shit and 7 did more damage to the entire franchise than 5-6 combined.
We waited nearly 2 decades for RE2 to get THE REmake treatment, and what do we get? A rushed out, shitty Dead Space reskin.

I was sore about it at release but now I'll just enjoy it as it is.
9/10
pretty good
played it with my gf
getting chased by mr x was pretty spooky but fun
>played it with my gf
Did you really have to mention that? Frick you stupid c**t. I want to stab you
i cant figure out how to fix the blue hallways in the rpd, i cant see anything
Compared to the classics, it’s mediocre, but compared to modern horror games, it’s excellent.
>Compared to the classics, it’s mediocre
frick out of here, unless you consider the classics to be like 5 to 10 titles.
It was so good it set a standard none of the other remakes have come close to
>some roastie makes a 2 hour video about shit nobody cares about
Ganker has fallen
You haven't watched the video.
Nobody is going to watch your shitty video bro
imagine being like this
mod?
Perfect. Exactly what I would want from an RE2 remake.
Well Jay, I hated it.
>call the game "Resident Evil 2"
>don't make "Resident Evil 2"

I like this part and everything that came from it
Really want to frick Claire. Can never understand why Leon has rabid yellow fever for a cold, manipulative hag
Overrated. Good game but far too tedious and autistic because your average horror stops play perfect or frick off mentality
>your average horror stops play perfect or frick off mentality
you are fricking joke. the game hands you ammo and health like candy on normal.
Resident Evil fricking died the moment RE7 came out, so I don't really care about any games or demakes that came out after it.

Also I got a boner playing as Ada

Pretty surprised Ganker hates this game now.
Honestly an amazing game.
they don't. normal people who liked it moved on, homosexual contrarians squat.
